He's Brainwashing Everyone

3rd person POV

selene watched the video that terry posted as they stood next to hawk . they all watched on with grimaces on their faces and selene scoffed.

"he's brainwashing everyone" selene spoke and they both nodded

"is there anything we can do?" hawk said and selene spoke

"no my parents are gone and i'm living alone in a house with my girlfriend, there's nothing we can do. we can try hawk but it'll never be enough ever" they said and he sighed with them

"you heard about miguel didn't you?" demetri asked and selene nodded

"i did" selene said and then daniel walked in. selene looked at everyone as he spoke up

"everyone gather around. it's great to see you all back here again. i know we had one goal going into the all valley. beat cobra kai, we walked away with a first place trophy thanks to eli" daniel said and selene rubbed his head with a smile

"as far as the rest of the tournament, well, it just didn't go our way. we said we'd close our dojo if we lost and... that's exactly what we're going to do . as of today, we are shutting down miyagi do karate" he said and selene sighed

"mr.larusso" eli tried

"i know that's not what you were hoping to hear but with everything going on at cobra kai, continue to operate miyagi do only means a target on your backs" he said

"but we can handle ourselves mr.larusso" selene tried

"selene, i have to keep you guys safe, okay? just remember what you've learned. this dojo may be closing , but miyagi do lives inside each and every one of you still" he said

"great guess i'm getting a summer job" demetri said and they walked off

"you can work with me, the animal shelter is plummeting right now" they said and he smiled at them

"you seem fine" he said and they shrugged as they looked at each other

"far from it, this won't end well" they said and they got in the car as they drove off

"so torys living with you?" hawk said as he sat in the back seat and leaned forward

"yeah parents said if i wasn't leaving with them that someone would have to move in or i would move out" they spoke and hawk nodded with demetri

"and you're happy? even with the cobra kai, miyagi do thing" demetri asked and selene shrugged

" miyagi do is shut down, and cobra kai will continue to grow. we have to end this but we can't. not without johnny and the rest of us." they stated

"we didn't ask that sel , we asked if you're happy" hawk said and they sighed as they nodded

"i'm happy i promise, i have you guys, beetle and tory. i don't need anything else" they said and they both smiled

"yeah well you do need those emancipation papers" demetri said and they all laughed

"yeah those are in the process" they stated and they pulled up to hawks house as selene unlocked the doors and looked at them

"i'll see you guys later" they said and they got out of the car as they waved and selene smiled at them as they pulled off of the curb and drove away to their house. selene looked up at their doorway and saw a flier . they got out of the car and stormed up to the door as they ripped it off and threw it away

they scoffed as they grabbed their keys and unlocked the door. selene looked around and saw that some of their parents stuff was there and scoffed again

"hey" tory called and selene looked up as they saw tory sitting at the top stair of the stairs going from their room down , they smiled as they set their bag down on the couch

"hi" they said back and selene looked at her as she walked down the stairs and to them

"your parents have been coming in and out , they keep grabbing their stuff. your dad did say some stuff about me and you though" tory said and selene shook their head as they groaned in annoyance

"he never did know where to keep his mouth shut" they stated and tory nodded

"he seems like an asshole" tory exclaimed and selene nodded with a laugh

" he is" they spoke and tory nodded as they sat down on the couch. they looked at the trophy on the table , selene didn't feel hurt when looking at it. they felt proud

"sorry i probably shouldn't be parading it around you" tory said and selene nodded

"it's fine tor, i'm proud of you. i truly don't care about losing" they said and tory blushed as she nodded

"you know i'm glad that we have each other but what about my little brother? my mom?" tory said and selene looked around the house

"it'll be quiet just me , you and beetle they can move in with us , they can stay here. we'll be fine" selene said and tory nodded with a smile on their face

"daniel closed miyagi do by the way , i just thought you should know" selene stated and tory's eyebrows rose in fear and question

"and you're okay with that?" tory said

"no but i'll lie and say i am" selene stated and tory nodded

"i'll be back, i have to go but i'll see you later yeah?" tory said and selene nodded as they leaned in and kissed her
