Stay With Me

3rd person POV

selene looked around before they sighed and put their head up into the bun. they tied it tightly and looked at the others as they all looked at her

"are you truly ready for this?" johnny asked due to what had happened during miguel's fight and selene nodded as he held their shoulders and made eye contact . selene watched demetri fight robby

"COME ON METRI" they cheered for him and he smiled gratefully at them but he lost and selene sighed

"it's alright, you did good" selene said and demetri smiled again as he walked over and hugged them

"are you actually ready to fight tory or you pretending for johnny and the others?" he whispered and selene smiled

"you know me demetri what do you think?" they asked and he sighed

"i know you selene more than anyone and if this is too hard you don't have to do it" he said and selene sighed as they pulled away

"but i do , if i lose at least i tried" they stated and they walked back over for their side as selene made eye contact with tory as they both sighed

"miguel diaz has one minute to return to the mat!" he announced and a countdown began before they all looked around and then they looked at selene when it ended

"you are our only chance of slightly winning this thing now selene" johnny said and selene nodded

"i got this" selene stated and they turned to the others

"all finalist competing please get to the center mat!" he said and selene nodded

"up first the boys fight, good luck to all of our fighters" he exclaimed and he ran off the stage as hawk stepped up and robby did too

this was hawks chance to get the revenge that selene had already gotten for him and selene watched in fear as hawk fought him. selene kept looking back and forth as they continued to make eye contact with tory and hawk got the second point

" Unbelievable! these two amazing competitors have reached their three minute Time limit in a one-one tie ! Which means the championship match will be decided, for the first time since 1985, by sudden death overtime! let's go" he said and selene made eye contact with hawk and nodded as they shared a look

"selene any advice?" he asked and selene smiled

"kick his ass" selene stated and he nodded before he got back on the platform and remove his gi after robby did the same and selene smiled

"you got this" selene said and they watcher as hawk hit robby and won

"YES" selene called and he smiled at them

"it all comes down to the girls fight coming up next" he said and selene sighed as they walked out back and tory followed

"selene" she called and selene turned

"hey" selene said

"does this change anything between us?" tory asked

"it doesn't have to and i don't want it too" selene stated and tory nodded

"i saw you and your dad back here what happened?" tory questioned and selene sighed

"we're moving, he's making us move for his job" selene exclaimed and tory sighed

"stay with me or you can keep the house and i'll stay with you , anything to make sure that you don't leave" tory spoke

"you would do that?" selene asked

"i like where we are sel and i don't want it to be ruined by long distance and time. convince him to let you stay or just stay with me, please" tory said and selene nodded

"i'll try" selene spoke and they walked back out as they kissed each other at the door and walked back to their teammates

" What better way to cap off this exciting exposition of karate then with a final match of the ages?. Representing cobra Kai, the queen cobra herself, Tory Nichols! Coached by her senseis John kreese and Terry silver" he said and selene made eye contact again.

" I'm representing eagle fang karate, the scorpion herself, selene Blackburn! Coached by her sensei Johnny Lawrence who I have just been informed will be joined by Daniel LaRusso" he said and selene turned to them with a smile as they ran over to selene and looked at them

"you got this kid! you have a fire in you and it won't dim even in that fight! you kick some ass and you do it in style" johnny said and selene smiled

"i always have" selene said and they walked forward as they hugged them both

"go kick some cobra kai ass selene" Daniel said and they walked into the mat as they bowed at each other and began. selene winked at tory as she swung first before selene hit her in the stomach and then the knee knocked her down and scoring a point

"ready! fight!" he said and they continued as tory spun around tj and kicked her in the chest as she gained a point and selene nodded

"sorry" tory said and selene smiled at her

"it's alright" selene stated and they continued to fight before tory ran at them and hit them hard. selene kicked her in the face and knocked her down

"point , blackburn!" he called and tory nodded it was 2-1 for selene and tory hit selene in the side making it 2-2

"score is 2-2 next point wins" he called and they continued as scorpion wrapped their legs around her neck and spun her to the ground. tory's elbow dug into selenes neck and choked them

"warning. elbow to the neck. go to your senseis" he said and tory made eye contact

"it was an accident" tory spoke and selene nodded

"i know" selene stated and they walked back to johnny and daniel

"selene are you okay?" daniel asked and selene nodded

"yeah i'm alright she hit me pretty good but i can still fight" selene said and they both nodded

"this is your fight kid" johnny said and selene nodded as they got back on the mat and faced tory

"ready? and fight" he called and they started to circle each other as tory kicked first and selene defended themselves until tory kicked them in the stomach

"point. winner!" he called and he held up tory's hand as selene laid on the ground

"selene are you okay?" tory asked as she helped them up

"yeah yeah i'm alright, i'm proud of you" selene said and they got up as they left the mat and went to the others before seeing that cobra kai had won . hawk wrapped his arm around their shoulder demetri wrapped his other arm and they left the mat. selene looked back at tory and smiled sadly as did tory

selene looked at their dad and shook their head before they walked over

"i'm not moving. i don't care what you say, i will stay her until school is over and i've graduated. your job has always been more important than me and i'm tired of it. you can't control me or what i do anymore. i'm not leaving. i'm not going anywhere and you can't change that. no matter what. you don't get to act like my father now" they stated and he sighed before selene turned and walked away

tory nodded and selene did too but was what they said enough?

would it ever be enough?

selene smelt a hint of something and lifted up their shirt and smiled it. it smelled like tory's
