This Is War.

All I have to say is.... You asked for it.....

Enjoy your dark Percy......

He had had it, with everyone and everything. He was being used. So as was every other demigod that ever existed.

Ever since Apollo went back to being his original deity things started to go back to normal, demigods were puppets and the gods had the strings. the demigods did the dirty business. Percy hated it.

Percy was constantly having flash backs of moments in Tartaurus, but the one that kept replying in his mind like an old record. Like how the dew comes back every morning. Like when the seasons change. Always the same.

He remembered Akhlys. He remembered talking with her discussing matters over Heracles. And how they would use the death mist.

He remembered the poison, the sticky thick liquid that bent as his will. That slowly crawled up her limbs infecting her already diseased body. He remembered her skin sizzling and hissing at the acid in the poison

Percy remembered wishing the goddess of misery more misery than him. More misery than any demigod. More misery. More pain.

He remembered her screaming and clawing at her throat tearing away skin making deep red blood run down her neck and body from the deep cuts.

He remembered grinning. He remembered enjoying her pain, he remembered wanting to laugh at her form of weakness and at his marvelous strength. He wanted to watch her that way forever. He remembered the images of imagining all the gods suffering at his hands.

At his power.

But he also remembered Annabeth, yelling his name and begging him. Her eyes were watery. And she looked scared. She almost started backing up.

Percy remembered stopping at her look of fear. He felt the feeling leave his body leaving him in an even tireder state that he was before.

He remembered panting and looking at Annabeth his arms shaking.

He was coming down from a high. The high of power. It was a drug.

But he did it for her.

Percy clenched his fist and slammed it on the table at lunch startling all the campers making them look at him.

Percy looked up and several people averted their eyes from his harsh gaze that could stab the heart and puncture souls.

Will was the only one who could look him in the eyes. Though Will never forgot the look in Percy's eyes.

The look of a raging ocean.

Percy stood up and threw his empty plate to get washed before stomping off towards his cabin the water in the air tensing making it slightly harder for people to breath.

Percy didn't even know what he was doing. He was just boiling with anger.

The gods had taken away Annabeth, along with so many other loved ones. Percy was done. He had had enough. There was no more waiting for it to get better.

He was going to make it better.

No matter what people said.

He was going to end this... Once and for all.

~~

Percy had been practicing with his powers. They had been growing. And for the betterment of his cause.

Percy stood inside his cabin Percy closing his eyes and focusing.

Olympus, gold trim. Marble arches Thrones. Breathtaking beauty.

Percy suddenly felt a weird feeling and he smiled knowing it had worked. But he had to keep focus. Or else he'd end up someplace with an arm for a leg.

He imagined himself standing in Olympus's throne room all together. All his limbs connected to the right area's. Everything in place.

Percy felt his stomach settling and he sighed before opening his eyes to see the throne room filled with gods and goddesses sitting and talking since it was winter solstice. All the gods were gathered together for a big meeting. Percy had planned this perfectly.

There were gasps heard around the room by several gods and goddesses at the surprise visit.

Zeus turned his head. "How did you get here?" He bellowed looking down at the small Percy Jackson compared to the might gods.

Percy scoffed, "I came through will." He stepped closer to the thrones as the gods looked at him quizzically.

"I have an idea, and I thought that I should propose it to you." He looked around the room at each god.

"Go on." Poseidon said intrigued on how his son appeared in Olympus without being invited.

Percy nodded and looked at Zeus his facial expression hardening.

"Where is Annabeth?" He demanded her location.

Zeus suddenly grinned as if he had everything under control.

"Annabeth is where she needs to be Percy." Zeus said and Percy growled.

"I said-" Percy pulled out Riptide and brought it down with so much force it punctured the floor sending cracks into it. "-Where is Annabeth!?" He said through gritted teeth as many gods looked in amazement.

Zeus shifted in his seat nervously.

"Why do you desire her location so much?" Zeus asked and Aphrodite kept silent.

"Why are you keeping her location from me?" Percy asked threateningly.

"Is there something I should know?" Percy said stepping closer to Zeus's throne.

"There is actually." Athena spoke up diverting his gaze from Zeus to the goddess Athena.

"Annabeth, is missing." She said and Percy grit his teeth before glaring at Zeus's wife.

"You did this. And don't say you didn't because I know you hated her." Percy spat and Hera slowly grinned seeing Percy in so much distress.

"I guess you have found me out great Perseus." she said in an almost happy tone.

Percy growled before he jumped up and held Riptide to Hera's throat. "Tell me where she is!?" He yelled in her face as she looked slightly scarred at his sudden movement.

But nevertheless she kept silent until Percy jumped off of her.

"You want to keep her location from me? Fine. But this means war." Percy glared at all the gods before disappearing from their sight and into the midst of the camp where he had gathered demigods with rebellion in their hearts.

"What did they say?" One girl asked and Percy took a breath before looking her in her deep blue eyes.

"Nothing... But now we have a war to start."

The girl hesitated for a moment before nodding slowly as Percy slowly nodded back.

"This is war."

~~

Before long they had themselves a fortress in the sea. A fortress on land. And a fortress in the air.

The underground had not yet been conquered, because Nico was protecting it. Percy battled him several times. But Percy's army as sent back by the waves of the dead that kept coming.

"Next time." Percy would always say before cursing the son of Hades. That he hoped someday would come and haunt him like Percy was haunted.

Percy walked into his room and slammed the door with such force that it cracked down the side.

"Not again." He leaned on his desk his arms shaking from the intense battle he had just fought.

He slowed his breathing but his mind didn't stop. Hatred, regret, pain, loss... Everything was building up inside of him.

Percy felt like a boiling sea was inside of his stomach.

"Sir!" One of his warriors yelled from outside his door.

"The sea is raging! We won't survive if it goes on any longer!" He yelled and Percy growled before swinging the door open a look of hatred and pure blood lust on his face.

"What if I'm the one creating it?"

The demigod gasped lightly "B-but sir! You'll kill us all!"

Percy kept his gaze before the warrior trembled in fear before Percy's gaze hardened.

"What if I don't care?" Percy said through his teeth the warrior looking at him in pure fear.

He's too weak.

Percy tightened his jaw before taking away the warrior's air.

He started gasping and grabbing at his throat as he slowly sunk to the ground his lips turning blue from lack of oxygen.

"S-sir." He barely choked out as he clawed at his throat in the same manner of Akhlys his own blood dripping down his neck until he finally gave up the fight.

His arms lost their power and his eyes lost their fear. He was gone.

Percy scoffed before kicking his corpse out of his way.

"The weak don't survive." He whispered as he walked away.

Two other warriors soon came cleaned up the boy who was dead.

~~

Leo flew Festus around on a special quest from the gods.

He groaned. "Annabeth!" he shouted though he knew she probably couldn't hear him if she was even in this area because he was a horrible map reader.

"Here!" Leo heard a few moment later making him perk up and look down to see a girl in an orange t-shirt and ripped up jean shorts with long curly blond hair up in a ponytail jumping up and down waving her hands.

Leo smiled and Festus dove down towards the blond who was most certainly Annabeth.

Festus landed and Leo slid off before getting tackled in a hug by Annabeth who was smiling glad to see her friend again.

She pulled away and looked at Leo. "I can't believe I fell for her trick like she needed me for a one man quest. I should've known it was a trap." she said referring to Hera and Leo sighed looking how at peace she was not knowing what was going on in the outside world.

"Leo, is something wrong?" Annabeth asked looking at him strangely.

Leo looked down in shame. "Annabeth, P-percy. He's..."

"He's what? Leo what is he?" Annabeth couldn't wait to hear what happened to him. She had to know if her Seaweedbrain was ok.

"Annabeth, he's gone dark. He's taking down the gods." Annabeth's eyes widened.

"Let's go." she said and Leo nodded before they hopped on Festus and started towards civilization as Leo filled Annabeth in on all that happened and they discussed plans to take Percy down.

~~

Percy sat down looking bored.

Percy's door cracked open. "Sir, we have another prisoner for you."

Percy smirked. "Take them to the blood room, tell them I'll be there in a sec."

The demigod nodded before closing the door and giving orders to others to take the demigod who wasn't on Percy's side to the blood room.

Percy stood and put on his leather gloves that let his fingers pop out the end. He also grabbed his whip which was stained with dry blood from past prisoners.

Percy went and saw a girl with brown hair and brown eyed tied to the pole by her wrists.

"Who is she?" He asked his assistant who spoke up quickly.

"A daughter of Demeter she claims, her name is Tabitha, and she is 16."

Percy nodded. "Thank you, you may go now."

His assistant nodded before leaving the blood room.

Percy set down his whip and chuckled bitterly, "16, I remember that age. I was young, and I let the gods use me for my powers." Percy looked back to see Tabitha was still looking at the the ground.

"Tell me daughter of Demeter. Why are you really working for the gods?"

Tabitha glances up at Percy but quickly looked back at the ground.

Percy waited a moment before she spoke up.

"Because they protected me." She admitted. "They kept me safe."

Percy scoffed. "Do tell of this act I have never heard of the gods preforming before?"

Tabitha glanced up again before looking down at her orange t-shirt.

"Camp-Half-Blood."

Percy scoffed "That camp doesn't protect kids because of the gods. It's other forces that keep the borders up. Besides if the gods didn't exist there would be no need for a camp."

Tabitha glared and Percy chuckled in amusement.

The room soon became silent until Percy spoke up.

"Tabitha, we can't trust them. They are only for themselves. They will eventually kill you.."

Tabitha just looked down at the floor that was stained with a black liquid. But what she didn't know was that it was dried blood.

"Tabitha, join us. Join us to take down the gods. Please. We can use everyone we can get."

This was the question Percy asked every enemy. Of they'd join his worthy cause. To fight back. Or to make everyone suffer at the gods hands. deciding between life and death.

"Look at me." Percy ordered but she kept her stare onto the floor.

"Tabitha, look at me!" He yelled and she flinched but she just closed her eyes.

Percy growled and stomped up to her before grabbing her chin and jerking her head up to look him in the eyes.

Tabitha gasped at the pain in her neck from the sudden movement his hand squeezing her jaw.

"Will you join, or make everyone suffer?" He said a harsh look on his face making Tabitha gulp and almost give in.

"Never." She whispered and Percy glared before throwing her face down from his hands making her gasp at more pain.

Percy unchained her and turned her so that her front was pressed up against the pole her hands in shackles which he tightened around her wrists.

He went back and grabbed his whip before letting it unwrap and fall to the floor with a slight slap.

"I want you to know you brought this on yourself. You chose death."

Percy pulled his arm back and swiftly moved it forward the whip cutting through the air making a whistling sound before landing on Tabitha's back with a loud snap before the child of Demeter's screams rang throughout the Blood Room.

She started panted as she squeezed the pole it her arms her body shaking from the unexpected pain.

Percy grinned at her state before pulling his arm back and lashing her back again her scream louder than before.

Every time the whip hit her body Percy''s adrenaline spiked and he wanted more. It was like every other time he had done it to a foe. He didn't stop until the victim was dead their body ripped to shreds. And at the hands of Percy Jackson.

He didn't even think about the outcome but all he wanted was to see blood, and misery. All he wanted to hear were people's screams and whimpers of pain.

And once he started, there was no turning him back.

"Sir!" The door opened just as he gave the girl another lash across the back.

"What!?" Percy exclaimed panting as he looked back at a guard his face splattered with the prisoner's blood.

"There's a very important message for you sir, but I can't give it to you because it's over an IM."

An IM? Percy wasn't allowed to use one, or receive one since he turned against the gods.

Percy nodded and gave the whip to the guard.

"W-what do you want me to do with this?" He asked nervously.

Percy lightly grinned, "Just take her out back and execute her. Make it quick."

The guard nodded and Percy walked out before being led my an assistant to where the IM was.

Percy looked and saw through the back of the IM to see blond curls and familiar curves.

Percy's heart almost stopped.

"Get me a rag." He said. "NOW!" The assistant scurried off and grabbed him a rag as he imagined his Wisegirl there waiting for him.

The assistant came back and Percy wiped the blood off of his face and clothes before walking in front of the IM to see who he had been yearning for since she left for her quest about 5 months ago.

Her face lit up slightly, "Percy." she said her voice sounding like music to his ears. The most beautiful music in the world.

"Wisegirl." Percy's voice broke and he saw Annabeth relax a bit through the IM.

"Percy, I wanted to talk to you to tell you that Leo saved me from my prison. And I-I've decided that I want to join your army." Percy felt more relieved than ever. Having her by his side to fight. Only then would he be at his strongest.

"Is it alright if I come to your sea domain to stay with you?" She asked and Percy nodded.

"Of course Annabeth." Annabeth smiled and Percy did the same.

"See you in a few days. I love you."

I love you.

Percy felt better than ever, he wanted to hear those words all of his days coming from her mouth.

Percy smiled back his eyes a little glossy.

"I love you too."

Annabeth waved goodbye before swiping the IM off cutting her image off.

Percy sighed and looked down standing there every one of his guards silent.

"Get to work!" He suddenly yelled. "I want you to clean this place up before she comes. Make sure everything is clean."

"But what about the Blood Room?"  a guard asked and Percy looked at him.

"Don't clean there, just keep it locked up when she comes." he said and the guard nodded before everyone started to get to work to make Percy's sea fortress clean for Annabeth's arrival.

~~

Annabeth took a deep breath, she was nervous. Hearing about all the stuff Percy had done while she was away. She was afraid of seeing him face to face.

But Annabeth knew that distracting him, whichever way she needed to, would let the demigods sided with the gods attack his sea domain.

Annabeth had the boat stopped and  she stepped to the edge before she was helped out of the boat and onto the glass fortress. It was beautiful.

Just the floor was glass though, the rest of it was either metal or celestial bronze.

Annabeth had no idea how it staid together. But with each step she thought about ways to building one.

"Go alert Percy that Annabeth is here." The guard that was guiding her told another guard who nodded and walked off his sword at his side.

Annabeth sighed. Now all she had to do was wait.

~~

There was a knock on Percy's recently fixed door before he opened it and looked at the guard.

"Yes?" he said allowing him to speak.

"Ms. Chase is here." Percy's eyes widened before he nodded. "Tell her I'll be there in a moment."

The guard nodded before walking off as Percy turned and grabbed at his hair.

He quickly cleaned up his room making his bed and cleaning up stuff like maps and celestial bronze bullets from his floor and putting them in drawers.

He cleaned up the clothing that laid on the floor before putting them down a shoot to be washed along with the clothes he was wearing.

Percy then changed into clean clothes, he had on dark blue jeans a dark green t-shirt and his leather jacket.

Percy checked his hair and took a deep breath before going to meet Annabeth whom he had been waiting for for some time.

He walked into the main room to find Annabeth standing there in a pair of flipflops ripped up jean shorts that came to the knee and a maroon tank top and grey sweater. Her blond hair was up in a messy ponytail but looked get nevertheless.

Annabeth looked at his face and Percy almost let out a sigh in relief. He was just glad to see his Wisegirl in person.

"Hey Annabeth." Percy said as if this was a casual meet up and not a situation of choosing sides.

"H-hey." Annabeth could barely speak, she couldn't believe how much Percy had physically changed. And for the better. He was more muscly, and he looked healthy his skin nice and tan.

Percy nodded before looking at the guards a moment and nodding at them signalling for them to leave. Which they did.

Percy sighed and looked at Annabeth a small smile on his face bringing back nice memories to Annabeth. Annabeth suddenly got drenched in Percy's ocean spray scent. She remembered the smell and just wanted to fall back into Percy's arms while he told her everything was alright.

"Can you give me a tour?" Annabeth and Percy nodded before they both started walking around as Percy explained things and told her what rooms were used for.

"What's that?" Annabeth pointed to a place entirely made of celestial bronze.

"Oh, that's just where we keep prisoner's." Percy lied. And he felt bad. But he couldn't tell her that that room, the Blood Room. Was where he murdered innocent demigods.

Annabeth looked down and nodded.

"They always like to not join my side." Percy grit his teeth in anger and Annabeth put her hand on his tense shoulder.

"At least I'm here." She said and Percy nodded.

Annabeth sighed, "So where will I be sleeping?" She asked and Percy thought for a moment.

"There's plenty of rooms," he said thinking hard. "But none of them are close to mine. And I don't want you to be that far from me at night."

Annabeth nodded, "It's dangerous at night." Percy said before looking up to see the sky dimming above them.

"Very dangerous."

~~

Annabeth had asked to see Percy's room so they could talk in private.

Percy opened the door for Annabeth and she nodded in thanks before walking into his room wrapping her sweater around her shoulders more.

Percy sighed and closed the door as Annabeth looked around his room to see maps up and pictures of him and her together. Some of just her.

Annabeth smiled before looking back at Percy who she found looking at her.

Annabeth drew in a breath and sat down on his made bed which had very soft sheets on it.

Percy went and sat beside Annabeth, she smelled of lemons. But it was mild enough to be sweet to smell.

"I missed you." Percy whispered in the silence making Annabeth look at Percy who sat next to her.

Annabeth sent him a smile of sympathy, "I missed you too."

Percy slowly let his eyes trailing down from her beautiful grey eyes to her lips, they were a light pink and looked soft to touch, to feel, to kiss.

He found himself slowly leaning in towards her as she slowly leaned in towards him.

Annabeth took a hold of her senses and pulled away before standing up and looking at Percy who looked surprised.

"So uh, tell me about you plans to overthrow Olympus." She asked him buying time.

"Well, I want to slowly take over the globe. Then having everything under my power. I'll scare the gods. And by then my powers will have grown so immense that I can overpower them."

Annabeth nodded but inside she was fearing for Percy. What had happened to him?

Percy stood up and moved towards her. "So what do you think? Is it a good idea?" He asked and Annabeth nodded as she kept backing up him walking towards her.

Finally she hit the wall, she couldn't hesitate any longer.

Percy walked right up next to her and slowly leaned in.

"I love you." He whispered and before Annabeth could do anything he leaned down grabbing her jaw moving her face towards him more before he kissed her on the lips.

At first he was slow tasting her for the first time in several long months. It was like doing it for the first time all over again.

Percy took his hand down from her jaw and placed his hands on her hips as he slowly picked up the pace with the kiss kissing her deeper each second.

Annabeth couldn't lie, it felt good to be kissing Percy again. It felt good to have him so close to her for the first time in a long time.

She kissed back wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him down closer to her his body pressing to her own.

Percy pulled away and they both started panting as their foreheads rested on one another's.

"Annabeth." He said lightly pressing her body up against the wall with his own.

Annabeth nodded before catching her breath and kissing him with all the passion for him she hadn't used in the last 6 months.

Percy moaned and he trailed his hands down to her bum before picking her up and pushing her against the wall as she wrapped her legs around his waist.

Annabeth's hands went to Percy's hair and she started sliding her hands in and pulling gently on his raven black locks.

Percy pulled them away from the wall accidentally ripping up one of his maps in the process, he didn't care though. All the mattered right now was Annabeth.

Percy turned and walked over to his bed before laying her down roughly as he laid on top of her before gently biting at her bottom lip asking for entrance.

Annabeth groaned and opened her mouth as Percy messaged her love handles. But to be honest him just touching her with his warm hands made her feel safe.

After a minute Percy pulled away and wiped off his mouth as he and Annabeth caught their breath once again.

Annabeth looked him in the eyes before pulling him down into a slow kiss her hand trailing down his side to her dagger.

She gave him one last passionate kiss before pulling out her dagger and flipping them over so that she was straddling his waist as she held the dagger up to his neck.

"Annabeth-"

"Please Percy, I didn't want to do this. But I have to."

Suddenly Percy's face hardened. "You're a spy." He said and Annabeth gulped pressing the dagger up to his throat more.

"Hold still, I-I don't want to hurt you." She stuttered.

Percy scoffed. "Of course dear."

Then looking her right in the eyes he took the air away from her.

Annabeth gasped for air but she kept the dagger up against his neck, finally when she was turning blue she fell onto the floor. Percy got up and let the air form around her again giving her oxygen.

"So, WiseGirl. What next?"

Annabeth had her hands on her throat as she looked up at his smirking face.

He squatted down so his face was right above hers.

"It's a shame Annabeth, we could've ruled the earth together. We could've been king and queen. We could've started a new generation, a perfect one. One that no one would mess with. One that would eventually take over the earth."

Annabeth shook her head. "No, too much power. We'll become like them." She said referencing to the gods.

Percy stopped.

"Yeah, I guess we would."

That was when they heard the battle start.

The war had begun.

<~~>

I know! I know! I'm terrible! I didn't even finish the story.
