Thirsty.
(I did not proof read this fyi, it was way to stinkin' long)
nnabeth was on her walk back to her dorm in the middle of the night when her phone rang the familiar tone of one of her closest friends she had on earth. Hazel Levesque.
Annabeth slipped the phone out of her jean shorts pocket and put the phone up to her ear before saying hello.
"Hey! Annabeth, I was wondering if we could have a sleepover again." Hazel sounded shy but once you got to know her really well, she opened up and showed she had a little bit of a wild side like everyone secretly has.
Annabeth sighed, "Not tonight Hazel, I've got stuff I need to work on for a quiz tomorrow." Annabeth made an excuse and Hazel sighed in defeat on the other side of the phone call.
"Fine," Hazel huffed "But, we will have another one where we can talk about that crush I know you have!"
Annabeth laughed as she walked along the sidewalk looking at the cracks knowing she wasn't attracted to any person at the moment. "I don't doubt that."
"Ok, thanks Annabeth. Bye!"
"Bye Haz-" before she could get Hazel's full name out of her mouth a strong wind gusted making her trip over her heels pushing her to one side her blonde curly hair that was in a pony tail blowing into her face blocking her vision.
When the wind was gone Annabeth looked down at her phone in her hand and heard Hazel talking. "Annabeth? Are you ok?"
Annabeth sucked in a bug breath and put the phone back up to her ear before responding to Hazel. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little wind that's all."
Hazel sighed in relief and said goodbye before they hung up and Annabeth put her phone into her pocket as she walked on.
As she walked she wondered where that gust of wind came from, because as far as she remembered the wind was calm up until that point.
As she was pondering these things she wasn't watching her surroundings and that she was being watched.
Just as she lifted her head from looking at the sidewalk to look at her dorm something grabbed her and she when she opened her eyes she was deep into an alleyway pushed up against a brick wall.
Annabeth was panting from surprise her heart rate spiking. She looked and saw a man, a boy her age with startling green eyes. He was the one pinning her up against the brick wall by her wrists.
He sniffed the air and his eyes slowly turned blood red.
"Ahh, you smell so good." he said sniffing her neck making her pant and whimper.
"Who are you?" Annabeth asked trying to get her thinking straight before something happened to her.
He chuckled bitterly, "No one of importance." He said before putting his face into her neck and groaning.
Annabeth felt weak, she felt frail and hopeless. She had no idea what was going to happen to her.
"Your, scent. It's so strong." He said his face still in her neck his lips brushing her neck giving her goosebumps at how cold he felt against her.
"Your blood." he picked up his head from her neck and Annabeth bit her bottom lip watching him closely as he looked at her.
He picked up his right knee and put in in between her legs on the brick wall as he still had her pinned up. He stopped holding her up by her arm and let her sit on his knee so that she still couldn't touch the ground with her feet.
"So, Annabeth Chase." He purred her name and Annabeth felt her legs go numb so she started thanking all goodness she wasn't using them because she would surely fall over.
"Why do you temp me so." he said eyeing up her neck.
"H-how do I tempt you?" She asked nervously hoping he wasn't a murder out for her blood.
"Your, smell. It sticks out among mortals. Your smell-" He leaned in and sniffed her again making her tilt her head away. "It's enticing."
Annabeth hearing his low voice let out a whimper she had no idea she had been holding inside her lips making her ears turn pink.
"I wonder what it would taste like-" He shifted his body closer to hers making her pulse pick up again. "If I drank your blood." he moved towards her neck before growling and pulling away letting her fall to her knees at the movement.
"Go home, don't come back." he said before there was a gust of wind and he disappeared.
Annabeth jumped to her feet and took out her pocket knife before looking around nervously as she backed out of the alleyway.
As soon as she was out of the alleyway she ran to her dorm her wrists and legs throbbing the whole way.
She ran up the stairs and into her room before closing the door and locking it panting. After it was closed and locked she put her back up against the white door and slid down her heart rate feeling faster than a horses hooves on a racetrack.
She closed her eyes knowing her roommate Piper would be asleep as she tried to calm her breathing down.
What. Just. Happened.
~~
Ever since that night Annabeth took the man's advice and never walked that way to her dorm again, she took the long way to the dorm or drove with a friend.
But in the weeks that followed she couldn't get her mind off of the man. He was so handsome, and his green eyes before they turned red. They were doing strange things to her mind. But Annabeth always went back to his lips brushing her neck, he felt so cold but it made her insides turn into butterflies.
After a while she couldn't stand it, she had been restricting herself from looking stuff up about what he said. She had a pretty good idea of what he was saying, but she had to check and make sure.
Annabeth got on her trusty computer given to her by a master architect her mother knew before he died. She pulled up google and typed in one word. Vampire.
She searched their history and found out what they looked like, usually pale, had fangs, and their eyes changed color.
Annabeth's mind went back and tried to remember everything that had happened that night. She remembered his pale skin even through the darkness, she remembered him growling as he battled himself. Annabeth remembered his eyes most of all. How they were once a beautiful majestic sea-green, but changed to blood red that put fear into the beholder.
Annabeth shivered and noticed the window was open. Dang Piper Mclean. Annabeth stood up and closed the window which her roommate had most likely opened to keep the dorm cool instead of an air conditioner.
After she shut the window she heard the front door open before she heard Hazel's voice. Annabeth mentally face-palmed remembering that Hazel was spending the night tonight. Annabeth walked into the living room and saw Hazel and Piper talking as Hazel set down her bag full of stuff a panda bear stuffed animal sticking out the top that she couldn't sleep without.
Annabeth smiled and went up to Hazel before hugging her.
"Pizza's almost here." Piper said and the two girls nodded before they decided they were gonna pick a movie to watch. They all gathered sitting either on the floor or on the couch ad the movie started to play as the night passed on. Their pizza arrived right before the sad part so they stuffed their faces with pizza and cried while the female character died leaving the man alone in the pouring rain.
After the movie they all gathered in the girls's room and sat on piper's bed while talking.
"So, Annabeth." Hazel smiled and Annabeth knew what was coming. "Is there anyone special you have your eyes on?" Hazel had already asked Annabeth this question at least once each time she slept over, which had been a lot and every time Annabeth's mind came up blank. Not tonight.
Annabeth was about to answer no but his green eyes flashed in her mind and his lips, oh gosh his lips that made her whimper even when he was threatening to suck her blood out of her. The person who made her legs go numb and her mind run wild with imagination. without thinking Annabeth let out a dreamy sigh.
"She does!" Piper exclaimed and the girls both cheered before high-fiving making Annabeth's ears turn red. "So, tell us." Piper said as Hazel munched on some popcorn. "What does this knight in shining armor look like?" Piper wiggled her eyebrows and Hazel giggled.
"Ok," Annabeth started while looking down at the purple sheets of Piper's bed. "He's got raven black hair, and gorgeous green eyes." Annabeth gave herself a minute to swoon. "And-" she caught herself before she said it her cheeks turning a light pink at the thought.
"What?" Piper asked urgently, "Tell us." she demanded and Annabeth shook her head. "Not yet."
The girls sighed before talking about their own crushes which Annabeth had a hard time paying attention to.
"Oh, you never told us his name." Piper said and Hazel nodded hugging her panda to her chest.
"Actually, I don't know his name." Annabeth looked down thinking about it. He had never told her.
~~
The next day she did her usual routine but when it was night time and her friend offered her a ride to her dorm she politely refused. "Thank you, but I actually have some business I need to attend to." she nodded to Rachel who smiled and drove away leaving Annabeth to walk home.
And she wasn't taking the long way.
The night was quiet the wind making Annabeth get chill as she walked. She called Piper and told her she would be back late maybe.
Annabeth put her phone in her pocket and walked down the sidewalk glancing around as the wind blew softly. Annabeth as she walked pulled her hair up into a pony tail so her smell would be stronger.
She sighed and closed her eyes when she was done before she felt herself being whisked off.
Annabeth as instinct wrapped herself around the figure until the fast movement stopped. Annabeth opened her eyes and panted seeing that she was in a tree, and he was in the tree also.
"I thought I told you not to walk home that way again." He said looking at her with his hard green eyes that made Annabeth's heart flutter.
Annabeth caught her breath and swallowed. "I needed your name." She said and he chuckled a smirk on his face as he shook his head.
"Is that all Princess?" He asked and she glared at him.
"Yes, it actually is." She said and he laughed at her response making her raise an eyebrow.
"Ok, Wisegirl." he said sarcastically as he let her wrists go letting blood flow back to her fingers.
"Only if you can tell me what I am." he said and his deep taunting voice made her want to grab him and kiss him right then and there.
"Huh?" His breath fell on her bare neck making her shiver and close her eyes. Annabeth needing to concentrate kept her eyes closed and leaned her head back against the tree.
"Vampire. You're a vampire." She whispered and he chuckled that attractive chuckle that made her insides tingle.
Then he leaned in towards her ear and his lips touched her ear making her eyes shoot open.
"Percy Jackson."
Then he kissed her neck and she gasped at the contact before the world went fuzzy.
She opened her eyes and found herself back on her way home where he had whisked her up for their little talk.
Annabeth smiled and started walking home a smile on her face knowing that she knew his name.
~~
The next few day were research, she typed in his name and a paper came up of a brutal murder and a teenager had gone missing. But the strange thing? Was that the paper was from 1876.
Annabeth looked at a picture of the boy, it was him. He was over a hundred years old and stuck in the same body. A teenager that was about to turn 20. He was Annabeth's age.
Well, technically he wasn't but he was stuck in her age.
Annabeth felt bad for him though, it said here that he grew up in abuse and the person that was murdered was his mother. He must've had so much sadness in his life. Annabeth couldn't imagine the pain.
~~
It was a week later and Annabeth sat daydreaming while she had her homework in front of her that she was supposed to be doing when Piper came in and told her they were having another sleepover that night.
Of course Hazel wanted another sleepover, and because Piper loved them too she invited Hazel on over along with Rachel. So they ordered Chinese take-out before sitting and watching the cartoon How to Train Your Dragon 2. Then the four stuffed and happy headed to their room and sat on the floor with their pillows and blankets before everyone stated talking.
"I love the new song Hello by Adele." Piper said and Hazel shook her head no as Rachel shook her head yes. Then the two that liked the song stood up and started blarring out the lyrics for an agonizing five minutes.
After that the girls all laughed and settled down before getting to the main topic like usual. Boys.
"Guys, Jason asked me out yesterday." Piper updated on her crush before Hazel squealed with excitement as they all congratulated her on her victory.
"Update on Frank?" Piper asked and Hazel blushed as Rachel and Annabeth watched in amusement.
"Well, he bought me a book and kissed my cheek at the bookstore a few days ago." Hazel buried her face into her panda bear as the girls snickered at how cute they were.
They asked Rachel if she had a crush and she nodded and told them she did, but she didn't tell his name because she said she was embarrassed who it was.
Then they all looked to Annabeth who groaned and buried her face into her pillow shaking her head no as Piper ask her questions.
"You're going to tell Rachel about this guy aren't you?" Piper asked and Annabeth buried her face more.
"Come on, please?" Rachel asked and Annabeth lifted her head before sighing and sitting back up holding the pillow tightly to her chest.
"He's got raven black hair and beautiful eyes that I could stare into all day long." Annabeth staid pretty close to he first description.
"Did you figure out his name?" Piper asked and Hazel nodded making Annabeth remember the last encounter she had with him in the tree.
"Yes, it's Percy." She said and Piper grinned from ear to ear before leaning back.
"So, uh. Is it time yet to tell us what you didn't last time?" Piper asked and Annabeth remembered making her ears turn red as she nodded knowing she wasn't going to get away with it.
"I was going to say that, he's sexy."
Piper laughed and Annabeth's face turned bright red with embarrassment.
"Stop." Annabeth hit Piper with a pillow and that was what started the pillow war.
~~
The next day the girls left and Piper got ready for her date with Jason as Annabeth teased her making Piper blush.
The door rang and Annabeth went and opened the door to see a man with blonde hair and icy blue eyes. He was very attractive. No wonder Piper liked him.
"Uh, Piper. Your dates here!" Annabeth exclaimed still looking at the young man who smiled.
Jason introduced himself and so did Annabeth right before Piper walked out making Jason blush and offer her an arm before they walked down the stairs and to his car.
Annabeth sighed and watched them drive off before she locked the door and went to take a long shower.
She bathed in lemon scent shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. After she was done she stopped the warm water and got out before putting lotion on her just shaved legs. Then she got dressed into a tank top and jeans shorts, but she decided it was cooler so she put on a sweatshirt that was too big for her showing off her tan shoulder.
She yawned and walked out of the bathroom looking down at her feet as she walked not watching where she was going.
Then in a gust of wind she was being pinned down on her bed as she panted her from being startled.
"Hello Annabeth." His smirk made her insides melt.
"P-Percy." She said out of breath her chest rising and falling with each breath.
"What are you doing here?" She asked examining him. He had on a blue hoodie and ripped up black jeans along with a pair of tennis shoes.
"I came to see you." He said and Annabeth nodded in approval.
Then he smirked and leaned in to her ear before whispering in that husky voice that made her legs numb, "I heard you think I'm sexy."
Annabeth could've fallen asleep at his voice but what he said kept her awake. "Y-you were here?" Annabeth asked and he nodded against her cheek.
"All night." he let go of her wrists and pushed himself up from her. to get a good look at her.
"I heard you describe me." He said with an emotionless face and Annabeth blushed.
"I have raven black hair and beautiful green eyes." He said still looking down at her and Annabeth gulped trying to ignore his wonderful smell of ocean spray.
"You have Beautiful blonde princes curls and sharp stormy grey eyes that I could spend all day looking into."
Percy described her. He made her blush.
Then Percy leaned down slowly before closing his eyes and kissing her making Annabeth feel like there were fireworks going off in the back of her mind.
Annabeth getting comfortable wrapped her arms around Percy's neck and slipped her hands into his hair before gently pulling at it making Percy groan into Annabeth's lips.
The sound of him enjoying her touch made Annabeth feel more prized than ever before. That she could make someone feel so good they had to make some kind of noise.
Percy pulled away from Annbeth and she panted lightly her lips red and swollen while looking up at Percy who had himself positioned on top of her.
"I didn't mean to hurt you." Percy got off of over top of her and sat his back away from her on her bed.
Annabeth closed her eyes and sighed before sitting up and feeling her lips. Swollen alright.
She blushed and glanced at him seeing his face was a little red also.
"It wasn't your fault." Annabeth said and he chuckled before nodding. "Sure Wisegirl. So who was kissing you?" He asked sarcastically and Annabeth rolled her eyes.
She sighed and laid her head on his shoulder making him stiffen. Annabeeth smiled "Percy Jackson."
He and her sat there for a moment in silence together.
Annabeth kissed his cheek. "I need to study." She said getting off the bed and grabbing some of her books.
The wind blew and Annabeth looked to see where he was, he was right next to the window.
"You're free to come by my alleyway anytime." He said and Annabeth smiled before he disappeared leaving her to study.
~~
The next time Percy visited her was right after another shower and she was just about to put lotion on her legs.
"Hey Wisegirl." Percy sat next to her startling her at first but she put a hand over his mouth.
"Shhh! Not so loud, Piper's in the kitchen" Annabeth whispered nervously.
"I know." Percy bent down in front of Annabeth by the bed "Jason's here too, they'll be to busy to hear us."
Annabeth blushed at the 'too busy part', and at the to' hear us'. What were they going to be doing?
Annabeth sighed and got out her lotion to put on her legs, "May I do the honors?" Percy asked and she looked down as he held his hand out for the lotion bottle and Annabeth nodded before handing it to him.
Percy squirted the lotion in a straight line up her leg before he started rubbing it into her skin from bottom to top giving her goosebumps and making her sleepy.
As soon as she closed her eyes she felt his lips at her ankle making her eyes fly open and watch him as he gently kissed her now soft skin.
Annabeth couldn't help herself but start giggling because he was tickling her each time he breathed.
She put her hand up to her mouth and continued to giggle as Percy quietly told her to stop, but Annabeth couldn't help herself.
"If you won't be quiet I'll make you." Percy gave her a look his eyes wild before he tackled her back on the bed kissing her lips covering up her giggles for a bit but soon he broke the kiss and went down kissing from her jaw o the base of her neck.
"Annabeth!?" Annabeth heard Piper call and her eyes widened and Percy pulled away before disappearing through the window just before Piper walked in.
"You o-k-?" Piper looked around and saw papers were blown everywhere and Annabeth was laying on her bed panting.
"Oh, y-yeah." Annabeth smiled sheepishly and Piper hesitantly left before Percy appeared right where he was before terrorizing her with his ticklish kisses.
~~
The next time they saw each other the situation wasn't as bright.
Annabeth walked into an alleyway and she was gently pushed up against the brisk wall a pair of familiar lips on her own.
She moaned and they pulled away before he starred into her eyes a little smile on his face.
"So beautiful." She chuckled out of breath before he moved in and kissed her again but with more passion this time and aggressiveness.
Percy's hands that were on her hips slid down her thighs and picked her up by them making her wrap her legs around him and he pushed her up against the wall as they continued to kiss.
Annabeth was about to pull away and gasp when Percy did first leaving her to get her fill of air as he kissed her neck. Earlier he had only kissed it but now be was sucking.
Annabeth let out a loud moan her hands that were in his hair pulling at it as he kissed her.
But Percy made a mistake, he went for a gentle love bite but his fang cut her neck.
Annabeth gasped at the pain and Percy pulled away starring at her neck that was bleeding.
Suddenly his eyes turned blood red before he went back to her bleeding neck and started sucking.
"Ahh, Percy? Percy! Ahh!" Annabeth screamed and he moaned at the taste of her blood.
Annabeth was aready starting to feel weak and her grip on his hair was loosening.
"Percy.." Her eyes fluttered shut and she let out one last breath.
~~
Annabeth's eyes fluttered open and she saw bright lights above her before she heard voices.
"She's awake!"
"Annabeth?"
She looked and her vision cleared to show Piper and Hazel looking worried sick.
"What- What's going on?" Annabeth tried to sit up but Piper pushed her back down.
"Easy, you need to rest." She said and Annabeth wanted to scream.
She remembered what happened last, she remembered Percy. Where was he?
"Who brought me here?" Annabeth asked feeling tired.
"Actually, you were in our dorm when I found you." Piper said and Annabeth nodded before she fell back asleep.
~~
About two weeks later Annabeth was feeling healthy and normal again. But she was missing Percy.
She understood if he ran away, almost killing the one you love must be hard.
Annabeth sat in her bed under the covers watching the rain fall onto her window when Piper came in their room.
"There's someone here to see you."
Annabeth sighed "Who is it?" Annabeth kept looking at the falling rain.
"Some man by the name of Percy." Annabeth's head snapped Piper's way signalling to let him in.
A minute later Percy walked in and Annabeth set down the coffee she had been sipping on.
"Where did you go?" Annabeth asked and Percy sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry Annabeth, I-I was just so thirsty, I hadn't drank in weeks and-" Annabeth cut him off with a kiss.
"Don't ever leave me again." She said sternly.
Percy chuckled a small smirk playing on his lips. "Consider me warned, Wisegirl."
Then they shared another kissed before they sat in Annabeth's bed together talking and snuggling.
~~
Annabeth had finally graduated college right before she was about to turn twenty and now they were dancing on a rooftop together happily.
They kissed and when they pulled away they starred into each others eyes for a moment before Annabeth lightly gulped making her decision.
Annabeth closed her eyes and leaned her head back leaving her neck open wide for him.
"Change me." she whispered and she could hear his breath hitch.
"Are yo sure?" he asked uncertainly.
"Yes."
Percy then leaned down towards his neck and let out a breath giving her goosebumps before he gently bit her.
Her vision went black.
~~
"Where to next m'lady?" he asked and Annabeth shrugged her shoulder's wearing a dazzling wedding dress that really vowed Percy's world.
"I don't care, anywhere suitable for a fabulous honeymoon." Percy smirked and pecked her lips before she smirked sporting a new pair of fangs.
<~~>
Holy COW.
That took so long to write.
And I'm not even sure I should've opened up with a vampire story.
