"1 2 3!" The dance teacher instructed and Percy followed her steps with perfection in each step.

Percy had been training and he just got accepted into a dancing school where he would dance with famous women with marvelous skills much like his own.

He couldn't wait for that, he had been training so hard and he deserved it. He worked hard for his place.

The day had come, the day where they would decide who Percy would dance with. He honestly hadn't danced with a lot of girls. He was nervous. But he knew how to dance and uphold them in their jumps.

This was ballet after all.

Percy wore his skin tight black pants and a white t-shirt which would let him move with ease.

Percy drew in a breath and headed out before stretching his muscles before he would be dancing with the woman they had chosen for him.

A few minutes later several ladies in leotards and short skirts walked out and started stretching also as the man and woman who instructed them stood together whispering things to once another discussing things.

Percy sighed and stood before looking to see a girl with her blond hair pulled into a ponytail the curly ends kissing her shoulders as she bought her leg straight up and held it there for almost a minute.

Percy smiled before they gathered the men and women to talk.

They started pairing people off, "Calypso and Leo." she read from a sheet and a Latino boy looked up before looking to see a girl with almond colored eyes looking back at him.

They both stepped aside.

"Nico and Reyna."

Finally Percy heard his name. "Percy and Annabeth." Percy looked over and saw the blond who he saw stretching earlier look over at him showing him her sharp determined grey eyes that were stormy yet shiny and clear at the same time.

They walked off together with the other people who had been paired before introducing themselves.

"Percy Jackson." he said and she let out a faint smile.

"Annabeth Chase." She winked at him and Percy felt his face warm up and probably turn red before she turned back to the instructors who were now assigning parts in their ballet.

Turns out Percy and Annabeth were the two main dancers who would steal the show with their graceful dancing and romantic passionate scenes which Percy had never preformed before.

It kinda made him nervous, but the woman instructor Selena Beckendorf kept telling Percy that he'd do great and that she'd seen him dancing before. He was up to the test of dancing with Annabeth Chase.

"Thanks Selena." Percy smiled and she nodded before sending him back to practice his skills before they started practicing together.

They were starting early in the morning and Percy was tired, but he had a little coffee to lift his spirits and awaken him a little.

Percy stepped into the professional dance academy and looked to see a light on in the far corner signalling that was probably where he needed to be since this practice was strictly only for him and Annabeth.

Ok, Percy had practiced a little before their first practice with Selena since she was so well learnt in the dance and she knew which number they would be dancing together.

But it was only the dancing, none of the passionate romantic stuff. Selena was married and she told Percy that he'd have to wait for his dance partner before he could do anything like that.

So all he knew was the dancing, nothing more.

Percy walked through the doors to see Selena talking to Annabeth as she stretched and nodded her head a concentrated look on her face.

Percy sat down his stuff and took off his coat before quickly following Annabeh's lead and stretching out his muscles so he didn't hurt himself while dancing resulting in really bad embarrassment.

After stretching and talking with Selena a bit the two stood next to each other as Selena instructed them on how to dance.

Annabeth was the main person dancing so Percy stood and watched her work dancing from her toes to the balls of her feet.

No matter what she did she was elegant and graceful in it, Percy wondered if he could keep up with her.

"Percy!" Selena called him over and he quickly strode over to her as they watched Annabeth do the routine Selena had told her to do.

"Yes?" He asked, "I want you to swoop in in a few minutes and wrap your arms around her from behind, don't worry she already knows you will." Selena went on to explain what he would do and Percy nodded before going in as Annabeth spun and he caught her in his arms her warm back pressed up against his chest which was a little uncomfortable at first.

They preformed the rest of the routine with some mistakes because it was the first time dancing together.

But for their first time, it was good.

Practice after practice and they still couldn't get it right in Selena's eyes.

Tonight she stood in the corner with her husband which she had brought as they watched Percy and Annabeth dance the routine she had given them.

Percy slowly dipped Annabeth back for the ending part and looked her in the eyes as he did so before she bent her head back leaving her neck open.

"NO NO NO!" Selena yelled before stomping out to them making them both stand up straight.

"It's not right, it's not enough." Selena pondered before calling her husband over.

"You two go over and stand." she told the two who were slightly sweaty and panting.

Percy nodded and they walked over as Selena took off her skirt leaving her in just her leggings and t-shirt.

"Charles." She said before whispering something to him and he nodded before they both started dancing Percy and Annabeth's routine as they both stood wide eyed at their perfection. And that Selena's husband could dance!

Charles did the finishing part dipping his wife back before she leaned her head back as Annabeth had done. That's when Mr. Beckendorf slowly leaned down and kissed her right in the middle of her chest.

The two stood back up to normal stature and Selena looked over at Percy and Annabeth.

"That's how you do it." She said and Percy looked down ashamed.

"You two must do exactly what we just did." Selena ordered and Percy's eyes widened before he looked up form the floor to Selena.

"W-w-wait, I have to kiss in between her....." Percy turned pink at the thought.

Selena rolled her eyes, "Yes, you will be doing it on stage also. In front of hundreds of people. Besides, it won't be weird anyways. She won't be wearing much clothing in the performance anyways."

Percy turned deep red, "O-okay." He said before they started dancing again.

Percy later that week before the performance took Annabeth out for a drink since he would have to... ya know.

He was kinda apologizing for the whole performance.

"It's fine you Seaweedbrain." she ruffled his hair and he rolled his eyes before taking a sip of his Starbucks before mumbling. "Wisegirl."

"I just hope my outfit doesn't slip off." she laughed and Percy chuckled nervously before blushing at the thought.

It was the day of the performance, Percy was wearing a suit looking ballet costume made for dancing but looked like a suit with a bow-tie.

"Almost time." Charles said and Percy nodded trying to calm himself down, he had done things like this before. Well, the dancing on stage. Not kissing or anything.

"Don't be nervous, it's not that embarrassing once you do it." Beckendorf said and Percy raised an eyebrow.

"No offence, but how would you know?" Percy asked and Charles chuckled.

"I had the same part, in the same performance, but with Selena." He said and Percy looked down realizing how he and Selena knew how to do the dance together perfectly.

Percy nodded, "Cool." then he heard the music playing. Their music.

"Show time." Beckendorf said and Percy nodded before watching for Annabeth to come out the other side in her ballet dress.

Soon she came out with her hair pulled up in a high ponytail her blond curls left to hang to tickle her shoulders and touch the floor when Percy dipped her back in the end.

She spun in circles as Percy examined her once again, she had on a skin colored dress but a little darker to show it was there. It covered her chest but was skin tight so that it looked like it wasn't there but somehow was. Percy didn't know how to describe it. It came to an X on her hip where the part that covered the top half of her body and the part that covered the bottom half came together. On the X is where the skirt came from, it went down to her left leg which had the X on that side leaving the right leg bare.

Annabeth was almost done with her part to be alone, that meant Percy had to go out and dance with her once again.

Percy strode out before wrapping his arms around her waist and swaying back and forth for a moment before she spun out her hand intertwined with his own before she spun back to him for a split second and spinning away on the other side.

She jumped around landing on her toes with elegance as Percy watched out of the corner of his eyes as he did his own dance he was instructed to do as the romantic music played softly in the background.

Soon they found each other again Percy picking her up by her waist as she jumped spreading her legs and arms out as he picked her up before setting her down gently.

She turned to him a look in her eyes and Percy knew the next move.

He grabbed her waist with one hand and jerked her sweaty body to his own grabbing her left hand with his right one as they swayed left and right as they both looked each other in the eyes.

She picked up her left leg and ran it up his own before wrapping it around his placing her foot back on the ground. Percy slightly nodded to her before spinning her around off of him as if they were fighting. Except the way you would if you did ballet all the time.

Annabeth gave him a surprised face like she was told to do as Percy turned away. She quickly danced over to him grabbing him and turning him to face her putting them nose to nose lips brushing.

She put her hand on his chest which Percy was sure his heart was going to beat out of any minute from the intense dancing.

And Annabeth touching him.

Apparently touching a man's chest made up for their differences because Percy wasn't supposed to be mad at her anymore in the ballet.

Percy grabbed her putting his left hand on her upper back and his right on the small of her back before turning her and dipping her down over his knee.

Annabeth leaned back her arms up and hands gripping at the back of his neck, half for support and half for the performance.

She panted her chest raising and falling as Percy's did as they gazed into one another's eyes waiting until it was time.

Selena told them how to time it was to wait until their breathing calmed before Annabeth leaned back.

By now Percy's breathing had slowed and so had Annabeth's.

Annabeth lightly nodded before closing her eyes and leaning her head back the gesture making it seen to the audience that her body was his.

Percy looked down from her neck to her chest before slowly leaning down and gently laying a soft kiss in the middle of her chest at the top his eyes closed before slowly pulling away the music stopping.

People stood and clapped as the curtains closed on the two who staid in their position until the curtains closed. They slowly reached full stature.

"You did great." Percy said wiping the sweat out of his hair and Annabeth smiled.

"You did better." She said and Percy chuckled.

"At least your outfit didn't fall off."

Annabeth almost laughed as they walked off the stage.

They were told it was time to part ways after a while because Annabeth was going to a different state than Percy was going to to continue their careers.

"I guess this is goodbye." Annabeth said and Percy nodded looking down.

Percy then felt arms wrapped around his neck and hands at the back of his head playing with his hair. Before Percy could even respond he felt soft slightly damp lips press against his own.

Percy couldn't even comprehend the feeling, he warm lips against his own moving slowly against his.

His mind turned to mush.

She pulled away and they sucked in small breaths their foreheads touching as Annabeth looked down, and Percy looked at her.

"See you again, I hope." She shrugged her shoulders and Percy chuckled before kissing her lips lightly.

"You will, and I promise I'll come more... Prepared next time when you plan to kiss me out of the blue."

Annabeth blushed pink before pecking his lips and boarding her train before waving to him as she rode away on the train.

"I love you." Percy mouthed and Annabeth smiled before mouthing the same words back to him.

Sooooooo, I went to a dance thingy for my cousins and I saw some older dancers there. Nothing like this but of course my mind came up with something like this.

Cause I'm trash.
