Now, Percy wasn't the type of guy who'd you think would enjoy Life Savers, but he did.

The minty taste in his mouth was wonderful it just lit up his day.

Wherever he went he had Life Savors, and he'd do anything to eat them.

I trudged around school trying to find my friends who had told me to meet them so I could go to Piper's house where we would be hanging out for the rest of the day.

"Percy!" Piper called and my head snapped in her direction and she beckoned me over so I jogged over.

"Where's everyone else?" I asked unwrapping a Life Saver and popping it in my mouth.

"They already left for my house, come on let's go!" She grabbed my wrist and pulled me to her car that she "borrowed" before speeding to her house where we found several parked cars and teenagers outside talking.

Piper and I got out before Piper walked into her house inviting all the teens in.

Piper told the maid to make snacks for them before everyone went to the living room to play a game.

"Truth or Dare? Or Spin the Bottle?" 

"Spin the Bottle!" The guys exclaimed and I rolled my eyes.

"Spin the bottle it is," Piper then ran off and got an empty coke bottle.

"Ok, the rules are. You kiss 'em then you pass the bottle to the person on your left to spin, the person the bottle lands on does not get to spin until it is their turn." Finishing Piper handed the bottle to Nico to start.

"Seriously?" Nico asked, he obviously wasn't on of the guys who wanted to play the game.

Nico shrugged and spun the bottle anyways. It went for a while and I almost freaked out because I thought it was going to land on me, but it went past and landed on the tan blonde with freckles splattered on her cheeks and light blue eyes that had a far away look in them.

Nico's eyes widened. "Holy cra-"

"Kiss ze girl!" Piper exclaimed from the Little Mermaid which I totally did not watch in my spare time.

Nico groaned his face turning red as he crawled over and met the girl in the middle who seemed pretty flustered herself.

Right before they kissed I remembered who the girl was, her name was Will Solace. She was named Will because her parents wanted a boy but ended up with her. Will wanted to be a doctor when she was older and she had awesome grades. Unlike me.

Nico and Will kissed  before sitting back down both their faces the color of tomato's making everyone chuckle at their awkwardness.

Nico handed the bottle to the big guy named Frank who sat on his left.

Frank spun and it landed on Hazel, Hazel immediately turning red.

Nico grit his teeth, "Make it quick Zhang." He said obviously not happy that his younger sister was being kissed.

Frank shuffled over and quickly pecked her on the lips him blushing like in the cartoons.

I rolled my eyes at how adorable they were.

Frank handed the bottle to Calypso who was great friends with me. I really enjoyed her company.

She spun the bottle it went around a couple of times before landing on..... Me.

Calypso's eyes flickered and she glanced at me before looking at Leo who was playing with a few springs and a bolt.

Calypso sighed and reached across Will to give me a kiss.

Calypso blushed and handed the bottle the will who smiled and spun it around, as heard her chant a name under her breath, but I still heard her say it. Nico.

The bottle landed on the child of Hades making Piper grin from ear to ear.

The two both turned red again, I mean, what were the odds of it landing on him?

Nico gulped and they met in the middle for a second kiss which lasted longer than the last one Will tipping Nico's chin up and kissing him passionately.

It was kinda weird to watch especially when her butt was in my face, but I dealt with it.

"Ok break it up." Piper pushed them apart and back into their seats.

Will blushed and handed me the bottle before wiping her mouth of excess..... You know what, never mind.

I cracked a small smile and spun the bottle as I finished my Life Savor in my mouth dissolving it under my tongue.

The bottle stopped making its rounds before landing on who I didn't want it to land on.

Annabeth Chase.

My crush since 5th grade, I'd always liked her. We're great friends but she never showed any signs of affection. Or any signs that I could pick up.

Annabeth got up from her sitting position and made her way over to me my crawling on her hands and knees.

Oh my gosh, what if she didn't like me? What if I'm not a good kisser? What if she's dating someone!?

Annabeth leaned in and my breath hitched before I finally decided to kiss her.

As soon as my lips touched hers I could feel the fireworks going off in the back of my mind. Nothing happened like this when I kissed Calypso. 

My eyes rolled into the back of my head and I moaned grabbing her face and kissing her more the taste of watermelon on her lips and transporting to mine.

"Ahhhh! No noises!" Piper exclaimed before pushing us away making me gasp as air filled my lounges.

I sat back and Annabeth winked at me as she sat back in her spot making me blush.

Did she just wink at me?

My stomach was doing weird things and my legs were starting to feel numb.

It was only one kiss! I shouldn't be feeling this way! I thought as butterflies erupted in my stomach like a volcano.

The game went on, but I didn't pay attention much until it was Annabeth seeing she had to kiss Jason. It was only a peck, but I still didn't like it.

The snacks came and everyone ate, I ate more than usual being the nervous eater that I am.

"Hey." I heard Annabeth say beside me.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NOOO!

My mouth was filled to its full as if I were a chipmunk. It was filled with crackers and cheese.

I swallowed at much as I could before turning to her.

"Hey." I croaked then it happened.

The one piece of food I didn't swallow went down and lodged with all the other food clogging up my airway. I started wheezing.

"Are you ok?" Annabeth asked as I grabbed my throat my vision becoming darker.

"Percy? Percy!?" She exclaimed right before I fell onto the floor.

My eyes started to flutter open to see familiar brown locks hanging over me.

"Oh my gosh! Percy you're awake!" My mom exclaimed before grabbing my face and kissing my forehead and giving me a hug.

"What happened?" I asked as I sat up looking around to see I was in a hospital bed. That means.......

"Oh no." I muttered before lifting the sheets off of my body to reveal my worst fear had come true.

"Noooo." I whined seeing I was in those old people nursing home hospital dresses that have a slit up the back.

I put the sheets back down. "Where are my clothes?" I asked just before Annabeth walked in with Starbucks.

"Percy! You're awake!" She exclaimed before running and giving me a hug embarrassing me even more than I already was.

"Hey." I pat her back and she pulled away a big smile on her face making me feel like melting.

"How's your throat?" she asked and I coughed a bit testing it out feeling it was slightly sore. "Sore, but good."

I turned back to my mom again seeing Annabeth's stunning outfit knowing I needed clothes too.

"Hey, do they still have my clothes?" I asked desperately to get out of this itchy dress.

"No, dear, I took those home and washed them. But I brought you new clothes to wear."

Oh no.

Sally walked over and pulled out a pair of jeans and a green shirt. Phew, less embarrassing than I thought.

She laid my clothes at the foot of the bed. "Oops, I forgot you underwear." 

I almost choked again.

"Let me get them." She started making her way back over to the bag my clothes were once in.

"No, that's ok really mom." I tried to stop her.

"No, you need a new pair."

"No, I'm good."

Annabeth just stood in between us as we talked/argued.

Then my mom pulled out my boxer underwear and I turned deep red. 

"Here you go." She laid them out on my other clothes as if she wanted Annabeth to see them.

"Thanks mom." I could barely choke out as Annabeth starred at my underwear.

Why fate? WHYYYYY?

After a minute of her thinking face on she turned pink making my face feel like it was on fire.

"Now you can go change if you wanna leave."

I groaned at my moms words.

"Yes, mom."

I just sat there a moment everything was silent before I spoke up.

"Could you uh, leave so I can change?" I asked Annabeth and her eyes widened before she glanced at my underwear. 

"Oh! Yes! Sorry!" She blushed and left the room with her Starbucks.

I quickly got out of bed in my dress as my mom snickered making me glare at her before I went to the bathroom and slipped on my clothes. The only reason I wanted Annabeth to leave is because I didn't want her seeing my in my dress.

I came back out and felt like me again leaving the dress in the bathroom and sitting on my bed.

"Here's your shoes, You can come back in Annabeth!" My mom called and after a minute Annabeth re-entered with a smile on her face as I slipped on my shoes.

"Let's go." I said eager to leave the hospital.

After another week of school I invited Annabeth over like I had been doing everyday to study. But since it was Friday I assumed we'd just hang.

"Let's walk back today." Annabeth said and I nodded, "Sure Wisegirl."

We made our way down the sidewalk in silence except for my whistling as Annabeth skipped along.

"Are you whistling the Little Mermaid?" Annabeth asked all of a sudden and I blushed realizing I was.

"Uh, yeah?" 

"I love that movie." Annabeth said pulling her phone out to show she had a Little Mermaid phone case.

I smiled, "Usually people make fun of me for liking it." I say and she chuckled.

"Yeah, I understand why though." She started walking in front of be backwards so she could face me.

"Some handsome older teenager interested in Disney princess cartoon."  

I blushed at the handsome and princess part.

Finally we reached my house and Annabeth set her stuff down at the door as I popped a Life Saver in my mouth.

Then my mom came downstairs in her jacket since it was a little chilly out.

"Hello Annabeth, Hey Percy."

"Hey mom. Where are you going?"

"Oh, I just need to grab a few things from the store. It won't take too long. Hopefully."

I nodded and kissed her goodbye before Annabeth told her goodbye and we went into the kitchen so I could get us a snack to eat since it was already 4 PM and getting dark.

After I fixed us a snack we went and played cards for a while which I was totally losing at.

I huffed, "I'm gonna go grab a mint." I got up and walked to my room before looking to see I had only one left.

I gasped, I was gonna have to tell mom to buy some more.

Ask, I meant to say ask.

I sighed and walked out into the hallways upstairs to find Annabeth standing there looking at me.

"Do you have another mint?" She asked and I shook my head sadly as I unwrapped the Life Savor.

"You can have one when Sally comes back. I'm gonna ask her to buy some more."

"What if I want one now?"

"Well-"

It was too late, she snatched the mint out of my hand and popped it into her mouth resulting in a loud dramatic gasp from me.

Annabeth smiled, "If you want it come and get it." She stuck her tongue out with the Life Saver on it and I realized what she was proposing.

I looked up at her to see a grin forming on her lips before she turned and ran down the hall me running after her.

You see, my house was square, but inside, upstairs. It was round. So whichever way you ran you were going in circles. And that's what we were doing.

Finally I decided to run the opposite way and trick her after about five runs around the upstairs.

I turned and dashed the other way before seeing her and almost body slamming her into the wall with my own as I pinned her hands up above her head a smirk forming on my lips as she calmed her breathing.

"The mint please?"

"Never." She breathed, her minty breath fanning my face making me want it more.

I smirked more before leaning down and giving her a messy kiss.

She moaned and her arms pushed against my grip but I held her back as I kissed her as I pleased the minty taste of her lips filling my mouth.

I kissed her deeper and I felt her leg rub up the side of mine like she wanted her legs around me.

I gently bit her soft bottom lip asking for entrance but she declined. You wanna play that game? I thought. Alright, I'll play along.

I pulled my left hand from her wrist and held both her wrists with my right hand as I reached down and grabbed her bum lightly squeezing it.

Annabeth in surprise yelped and opened her mouth so I could slip my tongue in.

At first we fought for dominance which I eventually won as she let out a another moan of pleasure onto my lips.

My tongue swirled around exploring her mouth for the first time as I pressed her body up against the wall with my own.

I ran my tongue against her teeth before feeling the mint in the back of her throat.

I smirked and pushed myself in as far as I could go grabbing the mint and pulling it into my mouth before pulling away a line of saliva still connecting us as we panted for air.

"Percy I have your- What are you two doing!?" I heard my mom yell and I jumped back to see her standing there with a bag of mints a mortified look on her face.

I turned beat red and realized I had Annabeth and My saliva mixed together still on my chin.

I quickly wiped it off as Annabeth straightened herself out.

"You two in the kitchen, I'm calling your mom."

Annabeth looked like she was about to protest but looked down and nodded before following my mom to the kitchen me following also.

Yeah, we were both grounded. For like, until college.

Hey, but at least I got my Life Saver back.

I was eating a Life Saver and thought of this.

It might be a little gross with the whole spit mixing but whenever you kiss someone you are sharing spit with them and they are with you.

Yeah, that sounds gross but kissing is fun!
