Chapter 15 -- Confess it or not

Author's Pov

Few days passed after that incident.
Asad was continuously trying to contact Bela, and says sorry for his activity. He sends flower bouquets, sorry cards and all these things. But Bela seems unaffected by all his acts. Mahir was continuously trying to make her understand that it's absolutely ok, and not to break that deal. But Bela was immovable on her decision.

Arav came back and gets a big shock as he gets to know that Bela broke the deal. But he says nothing to her as he knows that Bela will never take anything wrong decision for their company.

In college library,

Bela was lost in her thoughts, thinking about Mahir and smiling.

Amie was observing at her from a long time.

Then Bela suddenly noticed that Amie was looking at her with narrowed eyes. Then quickly she gets busy in her books again.

Amie coughs a little: So tell me, who is he?

Bela: huhh!?

Amie: You know very well what I am talking about. So answer me, Who is he?

Bela blushed furiously remembering Mahir.

Amie exclaimed: Oh my god! Bells look at you. You are blushing like a bride.

Bela bend down her head and says: No i wasn't.

Amie snatched her book and says: Tell me clearly or else I will create a scene in this library. My bestie is in love and i am oblivious about it, no way. Now tell his name. Is he handsome? He has to be. Hot....

Bela: Mahir.

Amie's eyes widened. She screams out of her excitement. But Bela manages to calm  her down after so much efforts.

Amie: I knew it. I just knew it from the very first day that something is cooking between you two. By the way nice choice haan. He is surely one of the hottest guy I have ever seen.

Amie hugs her and Bela smiles.

Amie: So finally, he proposed you!!!! I am so so sooo happy Bells. But why didn't you tell me that you guys are dating. I was about to go in depression thinking about what happened that ni....

Bela (sadly): We are not dating. He doesn't proposed me yet.

Amie: What!!? Why? What's wrong with that looser? Why does he always...

Bela: Amie, I don't know. May be it's just one sided or else he must be shying.
That's why I was thinking to confess my feelings Infront of him.

Amie jumped up from her chair and screamed: Nooooooo.

Bela again sushed her.

Amelia whispered: No way. You are not going to confess anything to him. You are so naive Bela. You don't know these guys. You should take tips from me. As you know I am quite efficient about this love things.

Bela: But...

Amie: Listen to me. You are not gonna say anything to him until you are sure about his feelings. If you say it first there are so many risks. In future he has an opportunity to tease you that you proposed him. 
And What if he is not sure about you! What if he rejects you!

Bela's Pov

This thoughts are enough to broke my heart. But Amie has a point. What if he rejects me! I will lost my friend also. And it has possibilities that he is not sure about his feelings yet. He never says me anything.

Author's Pov

Amie: So promise me. You will not say anything to him.

Bela: Ok Amie.

Amie: Hey, don't be sad. I was just telling you the possibilities. I will pray to god If he loves you, He will surely confess it so soon.

Bela smiles.

Bela: You are right Amie. We have a lot of time.

Amie hugged her.

Then they again get busy in their studies.

After library hours, they came out from the library and Mahir joined them. Amie is still angry with Mahir but she forgives him in her heart as she can't be angry with someone for long.

Mahir: Hello Amelia! How are you?

Amie doesn't reply, just rolled her eyes and look at the other side.

Bela glares at her.

Amie dramatically says: Hi Mahir. I was very very well and now after seeing you I am feeling great . It felt like I am wondering ninth amazement of this world. Your appearance gives me such a  pleasure in my eyes. My life fulfilled after after get a glance of you.

She give him a very fake smile and blink her eyes multiple times. Bela and Mahir couldn't hold their laughter.

Then Amie goes to Mahir, hugs him and says,

See, Mr. Mahir, I will not tolerate if Bela cries because of you again. If it happens, I will break your legs and hands, cut your body into pieces, and put you in a basket with ice. And I will play with your eyeballs. So better,may Bela will never cry because of you.

Mahir: Promise. I promise you, i will do whatever is best for her.

Bela to Mahir: Why are you looking scared?

Mahir: ...

Bela to Amie: What did you say to him?

Amie: Nothing sweety. I was just wishing him a good feature.

Then they get normal to each other like before, again started pulling eachother's leg , laughing and gossiping.

Amelia: So 62 more days to  my bestie's birthday , yeeyyyy.

Bela: Really Amie!!! Let me remind you first, that 15 more days to our final exams.

Amelia: How can I forget this shit. For this all my dating and chatting had been stopped.
But I just can not keep calm when only 62 days are left.

Bela: It's almost 2 months. And You know me very well, I never got exited for my birthdays.

Amie rolled her eyes.

Amie: But I am. I am super duper excited.

Bela thinks something and says: Me too.

Amie: Now only you said, you were not. By the way, good for you. You have to be exited.

Bela: Bhai's and My birth dates are same. And I always celebrate this day because of him. It's his 30 th birthday, and I want to do something special for him.

Amie remembered Arav's birthday as well. But she didn't say anything and pretends that she forgets.

Amie: Ohh, yeah. I just forgot.

Amie: So what special you are planning for him?!

Bela: He just loves violin tune, so I was thinking for a long time to learn and, perform it for him , but I got busy in work so much. That it has just slipped out from my brain. And now just some days are left...

Mahir exclaimed: Violin!!! I also love violin. It's one of my favourite....

Amie: Really!!! You are multitasker I see. So it's simple ,you can teach her, you know.

Mahir: Me??? How can I...

Amie (teasingly) : You are already her personal bodyguard now you'll become her personal music teacher also, not bad ha.

Bela glares at her when Mahir blushes slightly.

After some more chit chatting they left towards their houses.

In car,

Bela: Mahir please. Teach me na. If I will learn from any other teacher then definitely Bhai will get to about it and my surprise will spoil.

Mahir: Ok, But I have a condition. I want something from you instead.

Bela: Ok, your honour. You'll get whatever you want.

Mahir: Promise Mam?

Bela: Promise Mr. Bodyguard. I do what I say. Don't doubt about it.

Mahir: Soch lijiye. Main kuch bhi mang sakta hoon.

Bela raised her eyebrow.

Mahir goes closed to her, then goes near her ear. Suddenly Bela felt nervous. She gulped the lump in her throat. She closed her eyes.

Mahir says in a husky tone: Main chahta hoon ke...

Bela: Hmm.

Mahir continued: I want you to...

Bela: Hmm, I'm listening Mahir. What do you want?

Bela's heart beats rapidly. She felt like it will came out from her ribs.

Mahir: I want you to sign that project with Mr. Asad again.

Bela opens her eyes. She can not believe what she heard. She pushed Mahir away from her.

Bela yells :What do you think of yourself?

Mahir: Now you can not back out. You promised me.

Bela angrily says: I know. I remember very well. But it's unfair. You Mr. Cheater Bodyguard.

She beats him with her tiny fist.

Mahir was bearing her anger silently.

Then he hold her hands.

Mahir: Hey, listen to me.

Bela tried to free her hands from him.

Bela: No, I will not. You are so impossible Mr. Cheater Bodyguard Mahir Sehgal....

Mahir: I am sorry. I know you are angry. But i don't want you to reject the deal because of me. I am feeling guilty all the time.

Bela: You don't need to feel guilty. It was his mistake.  Don't blame yourself. I broke it because he disrespect you. If he behaves like this with his employees that i am definitely not ok with his thoughts.

Mahir: But he didn't disrespect me. He didn't say anything to me. It was Reuben who insulted me. He was even tried to stop him. Trust me.

Bela: But he said you to....

Mahir: Yes, He said me to eat outside right. What's wrong in it. He just says that Dinner was arranged outside for stuffs. And I should ....

Bela: You are not a stuff.

Bela frowned.

Mahir: For you. I know. I am a friend to you. Right? Then please for me atleast accept it again. It will be great opportunity for you and the company. Your employees will be proud of you.

Bela sat with a pout.

Mahir: For them atleast.

Bela: Ok fine. Stop your emotional blackmails. I thought that I am the most stubborn here.

Mahir smiles.

Mahir: Think what I say. Asad has no fault of it.

Bela: Ok. I will talk to him.
Now you will fulfill your promise and you will teach me violin.

Mahir: Wo to main waise bhi sikhata.

Bela: You moron....

Bela again started beat him.

In Ahuja Mansion,

Aarav came to Bela's room and knocked.

Aarav: Bela

Bela: Bhai, how many times I told you that  You don't need to knock.

Aarav smiles and seats near Bela.

Bela:Bhai, I was just coming to you only. I have something to discuss.

Arav: Haan mujhe bhi tumse kuch kahna hai.

Bela: Aap kahiye pahle.

Arav: Bela, Police found Alice's and those other goons dead body who were attacked on you in Italy.

Bela gasped.

Bela: Bhai. They all were being killed.
In Mumbai when police arrested murders of dad, They suicided in the jail. And now those goons were already dead. How could we find the actual culprit who is behind all this. And what the hell our polices, and investigation officers are doing. It's been nearly 4 years of that incident. Still we don't get any clue in our hand.
When we will able to live freely.

Aarav: I know Bela how you are feeling. But trust me Bela Police and our officers try their best. But we have be careful until the actual culprit get arrested. You can see they don't attacked on us oftentimes. In these 4 years, they attacked only 1 time on you when we thought that they must be get over of us. They are so conscious, finding their new way and waiting for correct time. We aren't gonna give them any time or opportunity. We have to be ready and prepared all time.

Bela sighs and hugs Aarav.

Aarav: Your brother is here. You don't need to take any stress until I am alive. I just want  you to know all the situation.

Bela: I know bhai. You are always there for me and Mom.

Aarav: By the way, you want to say something na.

Bela: Yeah. Bhai , That Project, i mean Asad.....

Aarav cuts her and says: Bela, I know you will do whatever is best for our company. You don't need to give me any explanation.

Bela: Bhai, I have decided to give another chance to this deal.

Aarav: Suddenly!! What happened Bela?

Bela: Nothing bhai. I think it will good for our company.

Aarav: Bela, you know, we are not dependent on one project. There are thousands of deals are waiting for us. If you aren't feel...

Bela: You know very well that It is a big amplification. And I don't have any problem now. Everything is sorted.

Aarav: I am so happy that you reconsidered your decision & All the best for your exams. I know you will top this time also.

Bela: Thank you bhai.

Then she comes to her room.

Asad called Bela as usual to say sorry. But Bela didn't reject his call this time.
Bela declared her decision. Asad was overjoyed and says that he will say sorry to Mahir personally.

Bela got busy in her study. She really works hard for the exams. She keeps awake all day and night. She even forgets to take her meals but Mahir make sure that she have her meals time to time and always stayed there for her if she needs something.

15 days passed so fastly.

Bela wrote her papers very efficiently. She is so satisfied with her performance. Amie also wrote it well.

They got emotional last day in college. All were now waiting for the result and college farewell.

Days goes on. Bela and Asad got extremely busy in their new project. In between they became very good friends. Asad keep flirting with Bela, but Bela always laughed and never took seriously as She loves Mahir only.
Here Bela was not able to spend time with Mahir properly due to the work. But Mahir understand that work is important and he never complained about it. They used to talk with each other on phone every night. But Both was feeling something is missing between them.

Mahir's Pov

One night,

Today she didn't call me yet. Did she forget? What if she is still working. I think I should wait.
It 11.30.
I came out from my room only to see that Asad was leaving and Bela smilingly says him good night.
I came back to my room and sighs.
They are friends.

I think I should divert my mind.
Umm. Yes. Kuhu. How can I forget to call her today. But it's quite late. But I have to talk to her. I can not sleep without talking to her for a whole day.

She attends my call in two rings.
Then we talk for a long time. Kuhu's delivery date is after 5 months. I am super duper excited. I just can't wait to hold the baby in my hand.  I just love kids. After some time, I say her to take rest and says good night.

A smile kept in my lips when I saw Bela's missed call. I quickly called her back.

Bela: Busy ho?

Me: Nhi nhi, bilkul nhi mam.
Ap abhi tak soye nhi?! You must be tired . You worked all day long.

Bela:Neend nhi aa rhi hai.
Waise kisse baat kar rhe the?

Me: Huh??

Bela: When I called you first, it was engaged.

I don't know what comes in my mind I just lied to her ,may be I saw her with Asad so jealousy engulfed me,

Me: I was talking with Hunnah.

I forget to tell you about my friend Hunnah. We are old friends. I know her since we came to London. She was going quite upset with me these days as we cannot catch up with eachother nearly a year due to my job. We talk in phone often. And whenever Bela heard her name, her behaviour changes. I think she didn't like her.

Bela: Oh, she!?

Me: Yes.

Bela's pov

Itni raat gayi koun kisi dost se aise baat baat karta hai.

Mahir :Any problem mam.

Me: No. Problem kya ho sakta hai .
Waise, bohot purana friends ho na tum dono?

Mahir: Haan, mam.
Apko milna hai usse? You will definitely like her.

I shouted: Noooo.
I mean , why would I say no? Ofcourse I wanna meet her.

I feel pissed off whenever I heard that name from his mouth.

Mahir: Waise aap apna wada pura kiya, now it's my turn. Ap jab bhi free honge mujhe bataiye ga, I will teach you violin.

Author's Pov

Bela: Woow, really! You know, I have to work more nowadays. So din mein to possible hi nhi hai. Aur sirf kuch hi days rah gya. Ek kam karte hai, tum mujhe humare musical room mein abhi milo.

Mahir got exited that he can meet Bela: Abhi??

Bela: Why? Any problem? Oh. I understand , I am disturbing you when you are busy in talking with your ooooldest friend right.

Mahir: No, you are taking me wrong. You- I ,I mean,I- I am coming in 2 minutes.

Bela:Ok.

In musical room,

Mahir: Nhi, aise nhi.

Then Bela tried again.

Mahir: Are waise nhi usse apne left hand se pakarie.

Bela: Uff. Kab se right left left right, kiye jaa rhe ho. Military parade ki training de raho kya mujhe? Yeha aake nhi sikha sakte kya. Waise kaise samjh paunga main, idiot.

Mahir: Ok, I'm coming.

Mahir

Then I go behind her, properly hold her hands on the violin parts  and  start teaching her. After a while, She got busy with that violin excitedly. I was surprised to see that She is doing it pretty well as it was her first time.

Then suddenly I realized our position. I don't know what happened to me, I got more close to her and smells her hair, and then her neck. Ahh! Her fragrance! God. It's damn intoxicating. Then I nuzzled my nose and lips on her neck and cheeks.

Bela

My breaths hitched and I  gasped when I feel Mahir is touching my neck with his nose and lips. His hot breath on my neck increases my heartbeats . My hold on that violin starts loosening. I leaned more to him. He continued nuzzling his face on the crook of my neck and cheeks. I closed my eyes when I feel his lips on my shoulder. He keeps rubbing his nose and lips on me. I felt myself getting hot.

We were so lost in our moment when Suddenly my phone rings. And Mahir jerked away. We came back to the world. I excuses myself and attend Asad's call.
After I finished, I came back only to see Mahir is lost somewhere.
This is first time when Mahir takes any initiative. Should I take it as a sign? What if he also feels in the same way what I feel for him! I shall tell him about my feelings on my birthday.
