Thirty-One
Rayne stood in the shower as water cascaded through her hair, over her shoulders and back. She sighed as the water was both soothing and refreshing, reminding her of the ache between her thighs and the slight sting to her ass. But she wouldn't change a thing. Yesterday had been one hell of an amazing birthday as her mind replayed memories of the beautiful gifts she received and the spanking from Nathan. Then it ended as Nathan had promised, all three of them together. An experience she would never forget as they came together as one—perfect.
Nathan had already left for work, and Jaxon had headed to the gym downstairs. Rayne had ensured she had been up before them both to prepare breakfast and tidy the apartment. Chores completed, she could relax.
Her eyes darted to the left as she heard the glass door to the shower slide aside. Hot skin pushed up against her wet back as she felt lips press against her shoulder. Fingers peeled hair from her skin as gentle kisses dotted along her neck.
"I was hoping to time it perfectly to find you in the shower," Jaxon murmured.
"Hmmm, perfect timing." Letting her head fall to the side, Jaxon's slower pace was welcome. Last night she had been thoroughly taken—fucked, and it had been exactly what she'd craved. But here now, with Jaxon, his slow, tender touches was what she needed.
"I dreamt about you last night," he whispered.
"Was it a pleasant dream?" she asked.
He wasn't sure if he should tell her, but it was only a dream, after all. "You were pregnant with my child." His hand slid around to rest on her stomach.
Rayne let her hand slide on top of his. "Definitely a wonderful dream."
He turned her around. "You see children in your future?" The raw sting of pain sliced deep under the weight of knowing that Nicole had terminated his child.
She reached up and cupped his cheek. "I do see children in our future. I want your baby, Jaxon and Nathan's baby, too. I want a family. A little Jaxon running around, driving me to distraction." Her chest expanded at the idea.
Jaxon's heart swelled with the very same thought. "I want that too." He saw no lies or heard any untruths. The three of them would have a family one day.
She gave him one of her ball tightening, shy smiles. "Goddamn I love you Rayne, when you smile at me like that, all I see is forever."
"Forever," she uttered as Jaxon lowered his lips to hers. They molded perfectly together. His kiss, with the slow swipes of his tongue, felt just as good as being made love to. A twitch of arousal warmed her tummy as his hand brushed over her lower back.
Rayne moaned as he deepened their kiss. His tongue sliding and tangling, making love to her mouth as the water ran over their lips.
"Have I said I love you, wet?"
She giggled as his hand ran up, cupping the back of her head. "What time is your appointment? He asked in between their kisses, their lips barely separating for longer than a moment.
Rayne had an appointment with Dr De-Luca. "Eleven."
"That leaves me enough time."
"Time for what?"
"To take care of you, Little One." He reached for shower gel, squirting a healthy dose onto his hand. "Let me wash you."
She flushed under the heat of his stare. Jaxon's erection nudged against her thigh, it turned her on, the idea of him cleaning her, taking care of her.
His hands were slow and affectionate as they swept across her front, over her hips, along her tummy before heading up over her breasts, gently squeezing and massaging. "Hmmm, I love these... perfect."
Moving on, he shifted his hands down over her hips and around to squeeze her ass tenderly, knowing she might be sore. "How do you feel, Little One?"
"Happy," she whispered, her eyes closed as his enormous hands mapped out her body with soap. It was sensual and soothing at the same time as she bit down on her bottom lip to hold back her groans of satisfaction.
"I love your skin, so soft... like silk. His hand slid down in-between her thighs, slipping his finger inside her heat. "I love here too, always so hot... and wet."
She opened her eyes to see his top lip curl into a sexy smirk.
"I believe here." He circled her clit. "Needs extra attention."
"And what did you have in mind, Mr Knight?" Suddenly a little playful.
"I believe I need to use my mouth, Miss Winters."
Rayne would have been pink if not for the shower colouring up her skin under its heat.
"Open your legs for me." Jaxon kissed down her neck, across each breast and down till he was on his knees. He lifted a leg and spread her open with his fingers as he looked up at her with a hunger only she could satisfy. "So fucking sexy. I love looking at you like this." Smiling, he returned his attention to her open folds, close up, exposing the heart of her sex. "You're beautiful." he claimed her with his mouth. His tongue slid over her hard clit, sucking gently before lapping.
Rayne was making noises, mindless whimpering noises. She wondered how he was so good at this. Forcing her breathing to slow, she tried to calm herself down, to keep from ratcheting up and tipping over the edge too quickly.
Deep breaths. Deep, slow breaths. With her attention focused again, she could feel the long, steady laps of his tongue over her clit, alternating with suction, the changing variety kept her on the edge of an orgasm but not quite bringing her there.
She ran her hands through his hair as she pressed her back against the shower wall, pushing her hips into his face. The climbing sensations became too hot... too intense. The rise of the urgent need replaced her playfulness a few moments ago. "Please..." she moaned as he inserted two fingers inside her heat as his tongue drove her wild.
It didn't take long for Rayne to fall over the cliff as she exploded onto his tongue. Withdrawing his fingers, he drank every last drop as she struggled to remain upright, panting hard.
Lowering her leg, he ran his tongue up her body as their eyes met and she saw a self-satisfied smile which made him look even more sexy under the haze of her receding orgasm.
He captured her lips, pressing her harder against the wall so not to fall. Edging back, he shook his head. "You distracted me, Little One... now come, time to wash your hair."
Rayne sighed as he turned her around and reached for the shampoo.

Nicole Millington-Ayres kept one eye on the door and the other on the file rolling off the printer. As the machine signaled its completion, she scooped up the paper and popped them into her Prada handbag. It was perfect timing, as Neil returned from the bathroom. "What time is your first patient?" She already knew what time and with whom.
Dr Neil De-Luca pulled her towards him, still not believing his luck that this beautiful, captivating, and much younger woman wanted him. Him!
"Not till Eleven. So, we have plenty of time, darling."
Nicole cringed. The very idea of having him touch her intimately, albeit the last time made her skin crawl. "Oh, I'm sorry my love, but I have an appointment that sadly I cannot rearrange."
He pulled back, brushing a stray hair from her perfect face. "Are you sure I cannot persuade you?"
She extracted herself from his iron grip hold. "Quite sure." Today would be the last day she would need him. She had unearthed over time all the information she had needed and today was the last part, having printed an entire file on the person she sought to remove... permanently.
Rayne Winters.
It drew Neil's attention to his computer; he hadn't switched it on.
Nicole followed his gaze. "I used your computer to access my emails. I hope you don't mind?"
He shook his head. "No, I just didn't realize I'd left it logged in."
She stepped up closer, letting her hand trail down the front of his knitted jumper, trying not to recoil from the tacky feel of the nobbly material. "Perhaps I have a few minutes before I have to leave." She let her hand wander further down, brushing against his growing erection. "Can I help you with this?"
All rational thought left his mind as her hands undid his belt, popped his button and slipped her warm hand inside as her lips pressed against his. He felt like the luckiest man alive.

At Eleven on the dot, Rayne took her seat on Dr De-Luca leather sofa. Breathing in the family scent of sandalwood from his reed diffuser, she counted along with the soothing, ticking rhythm of the metronome.
Dr De-Luca sat opposite, crossing his legs. "You look happy and relaxed Rayne, if I do say so."
Rayne turned all her attention to the doctor. Noticing for the first time that his hair was a little tussled, and his pants creased. But he looked happy, happier than she had ever noted before. "As do you Dr De-Luca."
"Indeed, I am Rayne. But enough of me. Let's dive right in. I have a good feeling about today's session."
~ ~
Rayne's session had ended on a high note. Dr De-Luca had set her a challenge for their next session and for once the idea of re-arranging her routine didn't strike fear into her heart.
Stepping out into the midday sunshine, she made her way towards Cental Park as she always did following her therapy session. Rayne loved it here. There was a simple grace to the park that flowed at the heart of the city. In times past it had been one sanctuary of her soul, bringing comfort on some of her most challenging days. Walking under the cherry trees, their bloom having been and gone for this year. She sat on a bench facing the vast reservoir, slipping into her most recent memories.
"Quite a beautiful sight, isn't it? Serene almost."
A sharp voice sliced through Rayne's daydream. She turned, coming face to face with a person she hoped never to see again, let alone converse with. "What are—" she didn't finish her sentence.
"How was your session with Dr De-Luca today?"
What? How did she know about her session? "How do you about Dr De-Luca?"
"There isn't much I don't know about you Rayne."
"W-were you following me?" The very idea chilled her veins. Fingers fumbling, she reached inside her pocket to retrieve her phone. She would call Jaxon to come find her.
Nicole reacted quickly as she plucked the phone from Rayne's hand. "Ah, ah. Not yet. I just want to talk."
Rayne stood and held out her hand. "You're not supposed to come near me... or Nathan and Jaxon. So if you could kindly return my phone. I wish to leave." Her voice was steadier than expected."
Nicole stood as Rayne was forced to tip her head up. She was a good head and shoulders above Rayne without heels, but with the heels, the dominating woman towered above her. But Rayne held her ground and stood taller. "If you leave now, Miss Millington-Ayres, I won't mention this to Nathan."
Nicole laughed. "Look at you, all brave and bold." She tilted her head as her eyes ran the length of her. "In fact, why don't you call Nathan. I'm sure he would love to know more about the person he thinks he's in love with." She reached inside her bag and pulled out the printed file.
Rayne watched; her heart rising to sit in her throat.
"Now, why don't we sit and let's read through this together. Yes?" Nicole sat and patted the space next to her. "And I'm expecting a guest any minute."
Guest? What on this god's green earth was she talking about? Rayne decided she would not play this woman's game. They could replace her phone. She would not spend a moment longer here. She turned on heel and walked away."
"Tell me Rayne. Do Nathan and Jaxon know about your twisted family?" Rayne froze. She knew. But how did she know?
Nicole rose from the bench, waltzing towards Rayne with the grace of a gazelle. She pushed a thick curl from Rayne's shoulder, whispering in her ear. "Well, do they?"
Rayne remained silent.
"Cat got your tongue?" she said in a sing-song tone.
Rayne shivered. "I don't know what you're talking about." One... two... three... four... five... six. She tried to move away, but Nicole's slim fingers wrapped around her wrist.
"Not so quick, I'm not finished."
Rayne tried to pull free.
"Just answer me one question, Rayne." The grip on her wrist tightened. "What did it feel like fucking your own brother?"
The colour drained from her face. One... two... three... four... five... six. She knew... she knew what a dirty, dirty whore she was.
Nicole released her grip as she glanced up. "Ah, on time. Perfect."
Rayne blinked rapidly as her eyes focused on the person walking toward her. Time stopped, yet everything swirled around her at a dizzying rate. Panic rose in her chest, and her knees threatened to buckle. A strangled sob escaped her lips as she closed her eyes to block out his face. Tears burned behind her closed eyelids, and she struggled to breathe.
"Hello Sunshine." The deep voice said.
Rayne kept her eyes tightly shut. One... two... three... four... five... six. Every part of her being wanted to run.
But there was nowhere for her to run to.
