Oh, Summer vacation is so nice. No school, no teachers....

[Y/n], on the other hand, never really like staying home with Kokomi and Makoto. So, she decided to take a trip to Saiki's house. Mostly to hang out and do homework. [Y/n] loved spending time with Saiki, more than staying at hom with her sister.

[Y/n] and Saiki sat in a comfortable silence while doing homework. That was until someone rang the doorbell.

"An here's Nendo to ruin it. No, it's even worse..." Saiki muttered and opened the door to see the little boy from next door, saluting him. "Hello and good morning, Cyborg Cider-Man Number Two!"

"What happened to number one?" [Y/n] questioned while peeking around the corner.

'Oh right, Mom mentioned this earlier.' Saiki thought, remembered what her mother told him earlier about the boy coming by. 'But being nice is so hard.'

The boy looked around Saiki's house while Saiki explained the situation to [Y/n]. She smiled. "I don't mind. I'm just a little confused on the Cider-Man thing." [Y/n] said.

'So understanding.' Saiki thought while the boy went on and on about Cider being literally everything in Cyborg Cider-Man's secret base.

"Wouldn't he get sick of that?" [Y/n] muttered.

"Aw well, who cares about all of the soda in your home when I've got the latset blu-ray of you kicking bad guy butty." Yuuta showed off his dvd, "Watch it with me."

"Uhh..." Saiki and [Y/n] looked at each other.

"Awesome! Watching Cyborg Cider-Man while siting next to Cyborg Cider-Man is like eating ramen while watching a tv show about it." Yuuta said.

"Sure..." [Y/n] muttered while Saiki put the dvd on. Yuuta watched and cheered with literal stars in his eyes while Saiki and [Y/n] sat on the couch, doing homework and reading a book.

[Y/n] watched with a deadpanned look while Yuuta cheered when Cider-Man showed up.

'I never want children...' [Y/n] thought.

"Keep it down." Saiki said.

"What do you think will happen? Will he win?" Yuuta asked.

"If you stay quiet, he'll win."

[Y/n] continued to give a deadpan store at the cider hero advertised his lemon-flavored drink after he won the battle.

"It was so fun sitting next to you while watching you beat lemonade. Now take me to the store to get a lemon soda." Yuuta said.

"Looks like you lost the real battle." Saiki said, and [Y/n] nodded in agreement. "Show me your lemon soda attack now or get me a lemon soda!" Yuuta demanded.

"You'll get nothing a like it." Saiki said.

"Here you go, kid." An agonizingly familiar voice was heard. It was Nendo. "Good thing I brought four of these.  Now my buddy's kid bro can got one."

Saiki grabbed one of the bottles and threw it at Nendo. "Lemon Soda Attack!"

This surprised [Y/n] a bit. "Why'd you hit me?!" 

"He's not my brother and get out of my house."

"No fighting in the Soda Base." Yuuta said, standing in front of Nendo, "Are you okay, Mister?"

"Yeah. Thanks for asking me, little boy." Nendo said and licked the blood coming from his nose, scarring poor Yuuta. He screamed.

"What's wrong?" Nendo asked.

"Your face is pretty scary, Nendo." [Y/n] said, awkwardly.

"This big guy's your enemy Baron Cola!" Yuuta yelled, and [Y/n] looked at the tv to see Baron cola looks exactly like Nendo. "Don't let him pickle me, Cyborg Cider-Man Number Two!"

"Ohh, Baron Cola!" Nendo saw the tv. [Y/n] facepalmed. Then Nendo tried to cheer Yuuta up, scarring him even more.

Yuuta ran out of the house, screaming. 'Good grief...'

"I asked seeing very well making this face. How's the little kid?" Nendo asked still making his creepy smiling face. "Soda get out!" Saiki tossed him out.

Soon it was time for the annual summer festival. Saiki's always had fond memories of the place and crowds like this never really bothered home. But the main reason that had him come...

"Saiki, Saiki, Takoyaki!"

An adorably excited [Y/n] looking like a kid in a candy store. She was dressed in a cute summer kimono decorated with her favorite color and floral pattern.

[Y/n] didn't care for the prizes or games. She loved all the different kinds of foods and treats they'd serve at functions like these. Saiki just enjoyed the view of her genuine joy. He was glad that she invited him out; he could only pray that the author wouldn't allow someone to ruin this beautiful moment.

Saiki could spot Nendo at the Takoyaki stand that [Y/n] was walking towards. Saiki quickly caught up to [Y/n] and grabbed her hand, [Y/n]'s blush a bit. "Saiki?"

"Let's get something else." Saiki said, pulling her along.

"Alright..." [Y/n] said, trying to calm her pounding heart.

'That was a close one...'

Then he noticed Kaido from afar. They stopped as a group of boys passed by with Hairo on a shine. Saiki covered [Y/n]'s eyes at the sight of half-naked Hairo. 'I wanted more alone time with [Y/n]...'

"Ohhhh, Candy apples!" [Y/n] cheered and pulled Saiki along. He ordered two candied apples. "That'll be 600 yen." The merchet said.

Saiki reached into his pocket,

No wallet.

He checked all of his pockets, but his wallet was nowhere to be find. His eyes narrowed. "It's okay, Saiki." [Y/n] said, reaching into her kimono grabbed her little money pouch and paid for them. Saiki seemed to be lost in thought while [Y/n] gave him a confused look.

"Pickpocketed?" [Y/n] repeated after Saiki explained his situation. [Y/n] looked around trying to notice anyone suspicious. "I'll help, Sai...ki?" She looked back, next to her to see that Saiki was gone.

'Thanks, but this guy is gonna pay for humiliating me...in front of [Y/n], especially!'

"Hmm? Where'd he go?" [Y/n] muttered, eating her apple, "I wanted to watch the firework show with him. "

It stung a little to be abandoned by Saiki. "I guess, I'll get Takoyaki, after all."

[Y/n] walked to the Takoyaki stand and her eyes widened a bit to see Saiki standing there, paying for a portion.

"Saiki! You found your wallet?" [Y/n] said, walking closer to him, "So that's where you went?"

"I wouldn't just leave." Saiki said.

"Oh, right..." [Y/n] muttered, scratching her cheek. She's been so used to her sister or brother suddenly leaving her all of the time.

Saiki tried to feed her some Takoyaki, "You wanted it, right?" [Y/n] blinked in confusion, "Hurry before it falls on the ground..."

[Y/n opened her mouth and ate a Takoyaki. "Delicious!!" [Y/n] cooed, and Saiki smiled a bit at how cute she was.

"Hey, guys!" Then Nendo showed up.

Here we find a beautiful girl... This one with much on her mind.

Kokomi sighed. 'Why can't I get him out of my head?' She thought.

Kokomi Teruhashi, 16 years old. 'Is it true love? No. I just can't believe that foreign guy like him is all 'no wow' around me instead of 'oh wow'. And getting close to my sister of all people. Is he trying to make me jealous? I swear I will make Kunio Saiki fall for me no matter what it takes.'

Elsewhere...

'What am I going to do...?'

We find another not as attractive girl who has much on her mind.

'How come I haven't been in any episodes lately.'

Chiyo Yumehara, 16 years old.

'But what I'm really worried about is my relationship with Saiki. Whenever I wanna get close to him, it's like there's an invisible force pulling us apart... And he's been getting really close to [Y/n] Teruhashi lately...'

And so...

Kokomi and Chiyo crossed paths at a coffee shop. "Kokomi?"

"Yumehara?"

They went inside and sat with each other. "Is this the first time we've met outside of school?" Yumehara asked.

"Oh, you're right." Kokomi said.

They two girls awkwardly sat with each other drinking their drinks.

'This is awkward! We never talk at school, what are we supposed to talk about here?'

'Do we even know each other well enough for me to call her Kokomi like that?'

"So..."

"Hey..."

It was getting more awkward. "So, are you excited for that class field trip coming up?" Yumehara asked.

"I'm super excited I love Okinawa." Kokomi said.

"It's gonna be so fun."

'Three-day trip with Saiki.'

"Heaven..."

'A three-day trip with Saiki...'

Unknown to them the guy they were hopelessly in love with had his eyes out on a different girl. She was sitting happily next to him eating the cake that Saiki purchased for her. In the back of [Y/n] mind, she was worried about the three-day trip with her sister and Saiki, but she decided to worry more about that with the time came.

She'll just enjoy her time with Saiki. He just had to get Koko and Yumehara off his back and away from him, so they wouldn't blow his chances with [Y/n].

Her likability towards him finally reached 89. About 5 more points she'll consider dating Saiki...maybe.

'It's that time of year where a jolt of excitement runs through every school. That's because it's one of high school biggest events, the class trip. This year we're going on a three-day trip to Okinawa.'

"I'm really excited about this trip, I've never been to Okinawa." [Y/n] said.

'I could take you there and back in three minutes.' Saiki thought.

"Will you be in my group, Saiki?" [Y/n] asked, blushing a bit, "I don't have many friends other than you."

"Can the groups be co-ed?" Saiki questioned, and [Y/n]'s eyes in realization.

"Oh, right. You're a boy..." She said.

"How could you miss that?"

Hairo came by. "Saiki, [Y/n], did you both decide on your group for the class trip?" He asked, "It's gonna be a total of three boys and three girls."

"Let everyone else decide. I'll just go with whoever's left."

"Looks like the only ones available besides you are Nendo and Kaido."

'Guess the best weren't saved for last.'

"What about you, [Y/n]?" Hairo asked.

"I haven't found a group at all." She said, and Hairo looked at his chart, "How about being in a group with... You seem to be the odd one out. You could join your sister's group."

"Okay..." [Y/n] sulked.

"We can be in the same group, though, Saiki. It'll be fun!" [Y/n] said with a grin.

However, thanks to Kokomi's popularity and the fighting, the class had to decide the boy and girl groups via pulling names out of a box.

"We're gonna decide boy and girl match-up via random names. Teruhashi, you're up." Hairo said, and Kokomi stood up.

Based on Kokomi's great luck and [Y/n]'s terrible luck, it was no guaranty that Kokomi would be in Saiki's group. 

'Sorry, [Y/n]... But there's no way I'm grouping with those two.'

He switched the name on the cards, and Kokomi pulled it out. "So then, Teruhashi's group will be joining up with Takahashi's group."

"I think I'm gonna be sick." [Y/n] muttered.

"Alright, so we know which guys Teruhashi is going with, but what about the other girls." Hairo said, "Shall we keep drawing names?"

All of the boys were sulking at this point. Another group of girls went. They pulled out the name to Saiki's group.

"Nendo's group? Ewww. Can we like pick again or something?"

What she said was really offensive. "I volunteer to switch with them." Teruhashi said, and [Y/n] sighed. "If Nendo and the other two don't mind."

Everyone began to praise her, and all [Y/n] wanted to do was bang her hand against the table.

'At least I'll be with Saiki. Hopefully, Kokomi and Yumehara will leave me alone...'
