Nyla's P.O.V

Apparently that wasen't the only familiar face I saw at the library.

"Jessica! I said along with my arms and eyes wide open.
For a second Jessica paused she was holding her purse open while she starred directly at me.
Before I saw her, walking up the steps, she was digging through her purse.

"Oh hey, Nyla what are you doing at the library so late? She said.

"I would ask you the same question, I said with my arms crossed.
I decided to play it cool, and see about the party, it was already 4:30.

"So, how did your friends react to the party being cancelled? I said tilting my head just a bit l, swaying my arms.

"Uh, really mad, they even wanted to go to the the movies and vent, she said pulling her hair out from her face , while her phone was in her hand.

"Oh , just now you went to the movies? I said pointing while I leaned back. I was definitely testifying wether she was telling the truth.

"Yeah , that's why I didnt come to library at my usal time , she said with a tight grin.

"Really, thats sucks! How was your conversation with Delan? I said.

"It was kind of a let down conversation, I had just got off with the phone with him. She said as she lifted her purse onto her arm.

I couldn't believe this, Jessica doesn't want me to go to this party.
Why didn't she want me to attend the party, was it because I brung up the change of personality and judgment?

Questions were throwed opon my head, in no later then 4 seconds all at once.

"Thats weird Jason was actually at the libary, I ran into him looking for you, and he said the party hadn't changed at all, maybe a few decorations here and there.

And Delan previously called Jason about helping out with a few things before the food arrives. I said with a sarcastic thinking face with my pointer finger on my chin.

"Delan, and Jason know about it, I mean that wouldn't really make much sence if 1 of the brothers knew about the "1 year-can't miss occasion." I said as I took as step further.

"So Jessica whats up? I said as I clenched my eyebrows togather.

For a minute Jessica stood there stuned, she wasn't expecting such an explanation.

Jessica's P.O.V

So guilty, I should've known, she would've figured it out quickly.
I didn't really know what to say to her.
She took the words right of me, I can't tell her that Oh, I did it so you wouldn't change into the person your destined to be, and I'm was worried I woudn't have my old friend back, thats why I took your chance of changing at the Bakersti Party so we can fill-fill my needs.

"Well? Jessica said, as she waited impatiently for an answer.
I don't blame her, only myself.

"Nyla, I'm sorry, I guess the sudden change took me by surprise, I said that "It was canceled " as a joke, and I intended so say "no, I'm just kidding , you go girl !" But I felt as if I were to say that, then it would make me look like I said it so you wouldn't go then said just kidding because I took back what I said."
I think that was the worst explanation I've heard , and hard to understand.

"Oh, so to keep yourself safe, and remain the same image . You would let me stay at the house, so I could wait for you to come home, and talk about me changing like we agreed. How dumb and in inconsiderate are you truly Jessica?
This isn't even about the party now, this is about your actions, and how you treat people to get what you want.
I'm surprised did you really think I would avoid the post, crowded people, an conversations?
Oh wow." I said as I shoke my head, and continued.

"Excuse me young ladies, you have to take that loud noice outside, this is a quiet library, just like any other one, Ms.MaryBether said.

"I apologize Ms. MaryBether , I'll be going anyways I have a party to get to."
I said while we still made eye contact. I shouldn't be surprised but I still am, Jessica did whatever she did to get what she wanted, she is devious, and determined. But Jessica never used any of her tricks on me!
Well maybe its because she never had to.
I'm refusing to discuss anything with her.
I simplied walked out the door, and thought about who I was going with to the party. As I was walking I crossed by coffee Bean, and smirked, never again I told myslef .
Wait ! Did I see that right , was that Gissele, you hardly see her alone , everyone is always flustered around her. I quickly turned back, and turned around.
Oh my god, it was! Live, and Irritated.
I quickly walked in trying to get past all the people, before someone had to huddle over her, and have her all to themselves.
As I walked in I was definitely alert, if I saw Marice. It was already 6:02 .
She usally left around 4:20, but since I quit, I wouldn't be surprised if I saw her trying to make up the shifts.

"Hey Gissele, I saw you as I was coming from the libary, I said as I set my purse down on the table, and got comfortable.

"Oh hey Nyla, I just needed a break from the girls . I was trying to help Delan, and Eric with planning out the theme, and lights, last minute .
And the girls, began to input their ideas, and try to act smart, right in front of me. I bet their regretting it, whos gonna introduced them to all of the higher class, me and now that thats gone, they'll be sorry, don't think they understand I got rows for days that people would be happy to take their spot. She said with her lip half open looking spotted as ever, at least thats how I saw it.

"Tell me about it, I just fond out that Jessica backstabbed me.

Authors P.O.V

As Nyla rambled about Jessica. Marice walked back up to the counter after cleaning the bathroom, Because somoene thought it was a good idea to store tampons under the toilet seat, you don't wanna know the rest.

Nyla stopped to look up as she saw Marice cross her table, they looked at each other slowly, and went back to their business.

"What was that about Nyla? Oh, thats not the only thing that happened today, I quit my job, Marice thought that it was okay to throw a B.F!

What the fuck, as Gissele gasped.
No way whats her promblem, she should know not to fuck with one of my close friends, I can go have a discussion with that stuck-up white crouton, if you want that Job back?"

Gissele loved that Nyla had a little beef with someone else , and something interesting to talk about.

Gissele's P.O.V

"

And then, here I am, Nyla said as she had straight smile with her eyes squinted.

"But yeah, I really need to find a way to bounce back, because I'm going to this party! She declared.

"Glad, you feel that way lets go, I said while I grabbed my keys and got up from the seat."

Go where?
She said as she got up from the seat as well.

"Do you have a dress, she said as she opened the door and held it open for Nyla .

"No, she said.

Ok, well we have a few hours no time to waste, I said while I dangled my keys through my fingers, leading her to my car.
