A huge yawn escapes from a 14-year-old Japanese girl after zipping down the last luggage. She hated the idea of going to another country for another mission. Kotori Ena, she's the first female young Slayer who shows them that the young people have a choice to become one of them or continuing their training. It is against their rules allowing 8-18 years old to join the Slayers and somehow Kotori showed them that she's ready to face dangerous mission. Everyone calls her The Knight on how she's willing to risk her life to protect those people who couldn't defends themselves because of being oblivious to these unknown creatures.

When Kotori was 5 years old, she's been raised by the three demons known as Kotengu, Natsume, the Ōkami, Subaru and Yuki-onna the Snow Woman. Natsume and Yuki-onna previous Masters are Kotori's parents and their final wish is to protect Kotori. The Ōkami and Snow Woman are mourned for their death but they did everything to make sure Kotori is always healthy.

"Birdie!" Subaru barges in her room happily because they're going to a different country hoping it's not too cold like in the North Pole here. The Ōkami hates the cold despite his body is so warm like a fire lighting inside of it. The Snow woman, on the other hand, she enjoys the cold because of her powers is ice and born in a cold place. "Which place are we going to stay?" He asks curiously and the young girl stares at him with a serene expression.

"La Push." Kotori answers with a whisper tone knowing Subaru could hear it because of his senses are high. "You hate cold weather, aren't you?"

"You know me very well, Birdie." He winks at Kotori and hugging the girl gently. "Did you sleep well?" Subaru asks worriedly since he's not the only one who could hear her scream last night because of her nightmare.

"I tried... somehow, it felt so real." She muttered and hugging him back. Kotori thinks of Subaru like a father figure despite he's always an idiot all the time and teasing Yuki-onna to irk her. "I can't even tell the difference between the reality and a dream."

"We're here, Birdie... Natsume and Yuki-onna won't leave you alone." Kissing at the top of her head. "Heck, even Cynthia and Elena thinks of you as their own daughter and sister."

"Mmm..." Kotori nodded her head on his chest making Subaru frowned at her cold attitude. Subaru knew despite she's lack of socializing and emotions to them or other people, Kotori hates violence but forces herself to fight for them. "We're going to La Push, Washington."

"Wait a minute!" She yelped in a surprised seeing Subaru looks to startle and gripping her shoulder. "Please tell me I'm hearing it right, we're going to La Push!?" He asks with an excitement and looking forward to seeing the older female Morgan again, making her famous blueberry pie.

"Yes, we are." She sighs with an amused expression and seeing Subaru transforms himself into a white wolf with an azure diamond on his forehead.

"Yes! I can't wait to eat Mama Morgan's famous blueberry pie!" He yelped and dancing around in his wolf form while Kotori sighs but smiled slightly.

She couldn't admit herself of missing the yearn of love and caring for the Morgan family. Cynthia Morgan, is the Godmother of Kotori and best friend of her daughter, Elena Morgan. Cynthia and Elena were there for her when her entire family massacred then often to checking up Kotori about her well-being. Kotori owed them a lot, helping to convince the entire Elders not to send Yuki-onna and Subaru away from her because she loves them like a brother and sister. Needless to say, the Elders weren't happy about the decision seeing how the Kotengu and Snow Woman are close to her.

"Then the doggie is dancing around like an idiot." A white-haired woman that it reminds her of a snow shows up with her pure white kimono and a scarf around her neck. "I can't believe your excitement makes you turn into a wolf." Teasing the Ōkami which makes Subaru revert himself as a human and glaring at her.

"Unlike you, old hag... I have a life, while you're sooo obsessed with the snow, we are currently staying right now."

If there is one thing you make Yuki-onna angry is about calling her old hag. The Snow Woman hated it when someone called her that because of the hair is pure white like a snow. Yuki-onna can blend in the mortal when she hides her identity as a Demon by changing the hair into black. Subaru always calls her old hag when Yuki-onna acts like an old lady which it ends up in a huge argument like children. Kotori is still surprised that they haven't killed each other yet.

"Aawww, does the big bad wolf needs a coat and blanket?" Yuki-onna mimicked into a child tone which makes Subaru growls angrily wanting to pounce her so badly.

"You better be careful of what you're saying old hag, I might electrified you." Showing them an electricity around his right arm.

"Electricity doesn't affect ice, dog brain." She rolls her eyes and yelped when Subaru shots her. "Oh, it's so on, Subaru." Yuki-onna's eyes glowed blue and was about to use her powers.

Slap!

The two Demons groaned and crunching their hands that has been slapped by a paper fan by no other than, Kotori. She sighs seeing those two immortals are acting like children not their own age. Only heavens know why they were chosen to become a leader of their Demon Clan.

"Yuki-onna and Subaru." The troublemakers flinch in fear of hearing a sharp tone someone they know very well enough about them. "Stop bickering like children, you two are already an adult and enough of this fighting."

"Ye-yes." They both stuttered knowing that if you anger the Kotengu, he is going to send you away from the earth using his wind powers.

Subaru and Yuki-onna both decided to leave them a space knowing the Kotengu has something to say to his master, Kotori. Each slayer depends to have a Demon familiar regarding of the contract. Natsume became a familiar to Kotori because she's an innocent forcing herself to become the first young female Slayer.

"Was your nightmare worst, Lady Kotori?" Natsume asks worriedly to his Mistress. He knew that Kotori was often having nightmares of her parents death, especially being the last clan of Ena.

The Ena clan was the first founder of the Slayers who are going to risks themselves to protect innocent people and balancing the world. They are the protectors of the world and trying their best to balance the harmony. These different creatures feared the other Slayers and trying to eliminate each one of them starting with the first founder. They killed the entire Ena Clan except for the last Heiress, Kotori Ena.

"Yeah, I was a hopeless little girl... who couldn't save her family and the clan." Kotori spoke up and hugging her familiar which he didn't mind at her sudden actions. "I missed them so much, Natsume."

"Me too, Lady Kotori." He grips her gently and fears of losing someone close to him. "Your family are always in your heart, don't forget that." Natsume is still scared when someone dares to use Kotori as their leverage of her powers and the kindness.

"I won't, you'll stay with me?" She asks the Kotengu with a hopeful look on her face.

"Until the very end, my Lady." Natsume vowed as he couldn't ask for a better Master or a Mistress.

Kotori and her three Demons are decided to reunite the Morgan family. They didn't even know that the new storm is coming towards their way.
