I didn't try to speak with her . What should I tell her? How will she react? How should I tell her? I had no idea....

         We were roaming around Hogsmeade the whole day  trying to diverge Eva's mind from Sirius Black. But it was failing. We tried to cheer her up. But if she saw a couple hugging or even holding hands. She would start sulking again.

          We were sitting in The Three Broomsticks and waiting for our butterbeers. Eva removed something from her pocket. It was a locket . The letter 'S' was written on it . It looked muggle to me. 

          "What's this rubbish ?" Dani questioned.

          "Sirius gave it to me.." she said distantly.

          "For Merlin's sake throw it away" I said annoyingly.

          "Why?? It's the only thing that I have that reminds me of him. It's the only thing that I can truly say is mine ...."she started crying again. Lily gave her a hug . Alice followed. Dani went in right after. I joined them as well. 

         " Don't worry Eva we are here for you" Alice reassured her. We agreed as well . We broke the group hug.  

            We went back to school after a while. We ate our dinner and went to bed.

            The following morning I went to the library and studied till noon. After lunch the girls wanted to see a few quidditch players practice. I politely declined. 

            I was going to solve this mystery about Sirius Black. I was  walking  in the castle aimlessly . I was on the second floor.  In the corner outside a classroom I saw a crowd cheering. I started moving towards the crowd.

        " Does anyone want to see him dance ? " asked a familiar voice. A few boys laughed. The rest of them cheered . 

           "Come on Snivellus I'm supposed to go for practice now . Smith will get mad at me for being late. We wouldn't want that now, would we?" the voice spoke again. I recognised the voice it was James Potter!!

            I pushed past the crowd and made it to the front . I was startled by the scene in front of me. I saw James pointing his wand towards Severus. Severus was lying on the floor panting. His mop of black hair all over his face. He wanted to get up but couldn't.

            "Incarceous!!" James yelled.  There was a  rope around Severus 's body and his body hit the ground. He was struggling to free himself. Apparently the crowd was enjoying the show. 

              "Do you like it snivellus?" he asked. I took my wand out from my jeans pocket. I pointed it towards Severus.

                " Relashio" I screamed.  In an instant Severus was free. James wore a shocked expression and looked at me.

                " I assume you are late for quidditch practice, Potter. We wouldn't want Smith to be mad at you" I said cheekily.

                  He wanted to say something but he stopped he looked towards Severus 

                  "I'll deal with you later Snivellus" he said that and the crowd parted as he moved  away from the scene. Everyone else left as well.

                    I walked towards Severus and extended my hand for help, he didn't take it . I sighed

                 " Thank you " he said sincerely.

                 " Don't mention it" I replied "I was hoping you could help me with something"

                   "Sorry, but I can't help you with anything" he said coldly and left. I just helped the boy and he doesn't even talk to me properly. Strange boy.

                     The next day I was eating breakfast in the Great Hall with Dani and Eva . Eva was in a good mood. Dani was dani as usual talking about something .

                   We ate our breakfast and moved towards hagrids's hut for our Care of magical creatures lesson. We were way to early but we didn't go to meet Hagrid. Instead we just stood there and talked . Suddenly something that Eva was wearing caught my eye. It was a locket . It was the same locket that Sirius had gifted her. 

                " Eva why are you wearing the locket ?" I questioned her.

                " It's a pretty locket and it doesn't matter who gave it to me" Eva answered .

                 "Eva " I screamed "don't you get it. He has given this locket to all the girls he has slept with"  I told her.

                  "So?" she questioned me.

                    "Merlin's beard Eva you are so naive!! This is all just a game for him. He is marking every girl in the school like a trophy. He takes pride in doing all this. He doesn't care about anyone" I told her. Both Dani and Eva wore a shocked look on their faces.

                     "How do you know about this?" dani questioned.

                      "Do you see those girls " I pointed towards a group of girls who were walking towards us. " See the girl in the right, the girl second from left and the girl in the middle all of these girls are wearing the locket", I concluded.

                         Dani was convinced. Eva was sad. Lily and Alice joined us shortly and after a while the whole class was here except Professor Kettleburn. After a few minutes he joined us and we started learning abot nifflers.

                       He told us everything about nifflers. He even showed us one. It was  cute.

                      After the lesson ended Professor Kettleburn took the niffler and left . Everyone started going towards the castle as well. We  started taking our notes and leaving as well . But suddenly Eva shouted 

                 " I know what to do.." 

                  "About what ?" dani asked her.

                 " About Sirius Black,  look there he is " she pointed towards four boys walking quite slowly.

                  "Sirius" she yelled his name and walked briskly towards him. We went right behind her. What was happening inside this girls head?

                   " Sirius" she yelled again and he stopped. She stood in front of him and we stood behind her. James , Remus and a plump boy stood next to him with a confused expression.

                    She unclasped the locket that was on her pocket and gave it to Sirius and said" I'm not just another girl who you can mark as a trophy on your shelf..." 

                    "Sorry love , but what was your name again ?" Sirius interrupted her.

                     "Eva" she answered hesitantly.

                       "Okay, Eva you need to take deep breath and relax. You are not another girl on my shelf of trophies"  he paused for a moment and continued "You aren't even on the shelf" James chuckled at this" did you really think it meant something??" Sirius smirked  and took the locket. 

                   Eva was about to walk away but I grabbed her hand and stood next to her.

                   "Blimey, what an amazing person you are !!" I exclaimed.

                   " Thank you" he said.

                    "Your welcome" I replied.

                    "What happened to you that your pathetic ego finds  a reason to hurt a girl like Eva ? Did you have a difficult childhood? Didn't your mother ever hug you or was it your father who didn't play quidditch with you?" I stared at his unsettling black eyes. 

                 "Oh I think I got it !! " I exclaimed" You got bullied by your friends for having a pea sized brain" everyone laughed at this. Except Sirius and me , he was enjoying it while I was glaring at him.

                 "Whatever it is, I think it is time for you to get over it and start acting like a human being instead of  a bloody dog!!!!"  I yelled at him and walked past the group of boys and  towards the castle.
