The next morning I didn't see Eva on her bed or for breakfast. Where is this girl? I don't know but  I'm having this feeling that Sirius Black has something to do with this. Maybe I'm just worrying for no reason. He wasn't on his seat either. I was looking at the entrance of the Great Hall for any signs of Eva.

               After about two minutes Sirius enters and Eva follows him. He goes to the Gryffindor table and Eva comes towards our table and sit next to me. She sat and started eating her breakfast.

              " Hi Eva, mind to tell us where you were yesterday?" dani asked.

              " I was with Sirius" she said in a high pitched voice " We're dating" she continued.

               "You can't be serious  Eva. You know that boy is bad news" Dani said . I'm having a strong feeling that they are going to fight now.

                "For God's sake Dani give me a break. I have liked that boy since third year...."

                 "that boy will break your heart Eva" dani interupted. Eva at this point was fuming . She wouldn't have hesitated to take the fork and poke it on Dani's face.

                  "It's not your job to tell me who I should and shouldn't date. You are my friend. Be happy for me and support me . If you can't do that and if you are going to talk nonsense about Sirius then it's best that we don't talk at all." she said without looking at us in the eye. Now this is getting out of hand. I have to stop this..

                  "The both of you stop it!!!" I said frustratingly. 

                     "You know what Eva you can go and do whatever you want to do. Because I don't care anymore" dani said coldly . Eva was on the verge of crying. 

                        "Fine, goodbye Alexa see you in history" she said that and got up from her chair before I could stop her. I looked at Dani and glared at her.

                      " By the way thanks for backing me up right there . That was real smooth" she said sarcastically.

                      "Wow you're mad at me now?" I questioned her. I was done with this maddness. I couldn't talk to her if she was always mad at me.

                      " No, I'm not mad at you. I just needed your help there" she said calmly.q

                      "Well , Dani it's her life. She can do whatever she wants to" I tried to reason with Dani.

                      " Alright, I'm going to go and take my books do you have yours?" she asked me. I nodded and she left .

                      History was torturing for me. It wasn't just Mr Binns but apparently both Eva and Dani were sitting next to me. I could feel the tension. Both of them refused to talk to each other. And neither wanted to leave the seat. It was getting very difficult for me to take notes.

                     Fortunately I didn't have potions with them. That would be a total disaster. We were getting  our moonstone essays back today. 

                     "Most of you have done quiet good in this essay" Professor Slughorn said after giving the essays back.  "Though some of you can do much better"he looked at Alice. 

                      I got my essay. I had got an' E' ( Exceeds Expectations) on it. I skimmed through the essay. Atleast I got an E I tried to reassure myself. The top grade is O (outstanding) and only lily can get it.

                       Today we were studying about the Strengthening Solution. I read and reread all the instructions on the  board at least three times and only then did I start making it. I added all the required elements. After half an hour I was done with the potion and a clear turquoise shade was seen . I gave in my potion and left the class with lily and Severus. Lily had hebology and I had Divination. We said goodbye and parted our seperate ways.

                    Thankfully Dani had taken Ancient Runes . So I studied in peace. Although Eva was talking about Sirius. Again.  

        The weekend was here. Honestly this week passed quiet quickly. Dani and Eva still weren't talking to each. Whenever I was  with Dani , Eva wouldn't talk to  me or even look at me. Same goes for Dani. I was stuck in the middle of this cold war.  Lily tried to talk some sense into the girls, but it wasn't working. Damn these girls were stubborn. Since it was weekend we could go to hogsmede. Apparently halloween was really close. To be accurate halloween was next week. 

         Currently the girls (excluding Eva) were trying to convince me to go for this haloween party that was in the hogs head. I really wasn't interested but lily convinced me at last. Here I was walking with lily to go and buy costumes for the party. We were just nearing the entrance of the school when I saw Eva walking by . I stopped and called her name. Dani and Alice went ahead but lily stopped. She walked towards us.

           " We're going to buy costume for the haloween party. You should come with us" lily insisted.

            "  Thanks for the invite lily but I don't think Dani would like the idea of me being near her. Besides I have a date with Sirius Black" she said happily.

                "That's great"lily replied.

                "Have fun " I said and winked .

                  She laughed and left. We tried to catch up with Dani and Alice but they were already in the shop trying some clothes. We joined them and started looking for some cute costumes as well.  After about one hour we got our costumes. Alice and I were really very hungry. So we made a quick stop at the Three Broomsticks. We chatted and ate. 

                 I really enjoyed spending time with these girls. They had become something I never thought I could have. They were the best friends that anyone could ask for and above all they had become my family.
