Backtracking to the night Kyouya, Tamaki and Gray had a conversation with each other.
"It all started when we were kids." Gray nodded in reply. Tamaki cleared his throat and continued.
"Lucy insisted on going to Hargeon and go by train, because she's been reading the book our mother had on a shelf. At first my parents didn't agree, but me, Laxus and my father talked about it and knew she had no intention of harm with that wish so we agreed."
----Flashback---
"Lucy!" A girl with brown hair called her as she waved her hands. "So you're not going to Hargeon?"
Lucy shook her head in disappointment, but the girl hugged Lucy and patted her head. "It's alright, at least were together, right?"
Lucy nodded happily in agreement and both laughed it off and played games. Seeing the scene, Laxus rolled his eyes and thought. 'If it did continue, it'll just be a short while. Girls really are mellow dramatic.'
"But it's not like I'm leaving this place. I'll still come back."
'Exactly' Laxus again, commented silently as he continued on his work from inside the house. He noticed a girl, who might've the older sister of the little girl, focusing her gaze on both girls. She caught him staring and shrugged off the thought, leaving away from his sight. Laxus rolled his eyes at her and continued with his work.
"But still! Promise me you won't leave me! Lucy?"
"Alright I will...I will.."
But soon after, the decision was made and they told Lucy they could go to Hargeon which made her jump with glee! each step of each day was filled with excitement, impatient to see the world outside of the books.
"You're what?!?" The little brown haired girl asked. Lucy smile innocently, obvious excitement radiating from her.
"They told me we could ride a train too! Like other people in the book do! I'm so excited!" With that being said, It made the little girl more irritated in her, causing her to push Lucy down to the ground.
"You promised me you won't leave me!" She shouted.
"What?? I'll come back! Relax! I'm not leaving forever." Lucy replied, standing up and patted her skirt clean from the mud on the ground.
"Shut up! They all leave! I hate this! You could just leave then!!" She shouted with anger. Lucy was confused, but tried to calm down her friend. Walking towards her, Lucy placed her hands on the brown haired girl's shoulders.
"Michelle, don't be angry. I'll come back. I'll even bring you some cool stuff from Hargeon! How's that sound?" Lucy giggled calmly, still smiling. Michelle glanced a bit at Lucy and quickly turned around to grab Lucy's clean, beautiful blonde hair, too fast for Lucy to even react.
She pulled Lucy's hair downwards. "You think some trinkets will fix everything? You're leaving me like everyone else and not coming back! You know what?? Screw you!" She shouted, for a little girl, Lucy was surprised a girl the same age as her could say words so immature like that. Lucy still hasn't given up and tried to calm her down.
"Relax...I'm sorry if I offended you, but I'm not leaving you!"
"Shut up! you could just die on that freakin' train for all I care!" She harshly pulled Lucy's hair multiple times until she left Lucy lying on the ground and walked back to her house.
Lucy looked at her until she lost sight of Michelle, still worried about her even when she was beaten up by that girl. Entering the mansion, the maids and butlers rushed to their beloved little blonde angel that seem to look like she fell out of the sky.
"My goodness! Young mistress! What's happened to you??" They asked the same question over and over again and each time, Lucy replied with a smile saying 'I just had a rough fall' . The maids and butlers went to Layla to tell her what happened.
As Lucy changed into new clothes and sat in her bedroom, thinking what she did wrong with Michelle. 'How did I offend her? What was wrong with what I said? Am I a bad person?' As a little girl, those thoughts kept running around in her head, making her believe she was a bad person. Someone knocked on the door, it was Tamaki.
"Big Brother..." Lucy muttered in surprise and addressing his big brother as well.
"Lucy...What happened?" He asked with concern.
"I just tripped! Why can't any of you understand that I got dirty because of the mud outside the house!" Her outburst surprised Tamaki and herself, it wasn't this frequent that Lucy would snap, shout or just raise her voice. She was the composed, gentle type of girl.
"Well then, care to tell me the truth?" Lucy kept her head down, avoiding Tamaki's concern looks. She hesitated but said something.
"Me and Michelle got in a fight....."
"Fight about what?? Why did you fight?? You seem on good terms with each other, why all of a sudden?"
"They didn't fight." Laxus interrupted as he leaned on the door's wooden frame. "That brown haired little bitch beat Lucy up earlier."
"Is that true, Lucy?" Tamaki asked with much more worry in his tone. After a long silent pause, Tamaki softened his expression as he placed his hand on Lucy's back and gently rubbed her back, calming her down.
"Can you tell us what happened?"
"Well....I told her I that we'll be going to Hargeon...and just like that she snapped..."
"What else happened?" Lucy hesitated on speaking and stayed silent.
"You're not suppose to protect her, Lucy. Tell us." Tamaki explained calmly.
"She pushed me...I tried to calm her down but she kept shouting I'll leave her and stuff..." Looking at her would make it obvious that she didn't want to recall the beat up from a close friend.
"Did you see the fight, Laxus??" Tamaki turned to the young boy at the door. Laxus only replied with a silent nod.
"Then why didn't you stop them???" Tamaki asked, voice getting louder.
"I don't think I am in the position to do so." He said with a calm and composed aura radiating from him.
"Not in the position?? Laxus! Do you know what you're saying? Your Lucy's big brother! For crying out loud!"
"Calm down, Tamaki. I know what I'm suppose to do and I know who I am, the situation isn't life and death."
"Lucy was getting hurt! You saw them! Why didn't you do anything?! She was hurting our little sister and you just watched them! Amazing! That's just great. Right thing to do!" He said with full sarcasm. Tamaki was a worry wart, explained by his rich background where he was protected from these kinds of things. Unlike Lucy and her family. Those words made Laxus snap and making him turn Tamaki's way with a scary glare.
"Shut up. I'm as angry as you are, but at that situation, Its best not to do anything!"
"Not to do anything, there we go! Wise words from the big brother!"
"Hey you! I'm officially your brother now, your older brother! There's thing you shouldn't know! Things you can't handle! So don't go having a rage quit in front of me who's seen much worse than that! So shut your mouth and don't judge what I do!" Lucy was frozen, she was completely surprised to see her big brother who was always calm and composed, to just keep shouting things she couldn't understand. Tamaki had the same reaction.
"Please stop..." Was the only thing she could say. Both boys turned to her, surprised and trying to control themselves.
"I'm sorry Lucy." Tamaki apologized, sitting back beside her and holding her tight to calm her down.
"Sorry Luce-Luce, I think I need to cool my head." Laxus said, turning his back and leaving the room.
"Tamaki..." Lucy said with her trembling voice, addressing Tamaki. "What was Laxus talking about when he said those things...? And what was official now...?" Tamaki looked at her with pity and hugged her gently.
"It's nothing Lucy, just...big boy talk, alright? It's going to be alright." He pulled away and looked at Lucy. "For now, can you not play with Michelle?" Lucy nodded.
"That's a good girl, alright, let me talk with your big brother, Laxus, mkay?" Tamaki smiled cheerfully, obviously fake, but not in front of Lucy. Lucy smiled and nodded in agreement.
----End of Flashback---
"What's wrong with that girl??" Gray asked, a bit enraged from the story.
"I've notice that she was acting odd for a young girl long ago, but after that argument that the girl Lucy's been playing with had a mental problem."
"Mental problem...?" Gray repeated.
"Yeah, she has a complication with her mind" Tamaki said, irritated, bringing back the past memories stressed him out, one way or another.
"Wait, let me get to the main point. Your brother is Laxus?? As in, Laxus Dreyer??" Tamaki nodded.
"Yeah, something odd with that?"
"No it's just...you're last name is Suoh, Laxus' is Dreyer and Lucy's is....?"
"Heartfilia." Tamaki added.
"Exactly." Gray insisted. "So why...? How?? Why didn't you tell me this before??"
"I'm getting to that part, Plus, I didn't know you knew Laxus, that's why. Moving on." Tamaki pushed the topic away and continued his story.
---Back to the Story---
Tamaki knocked on the door of Laxus' room.
"Come in." Said Laxus on the other side. He opened the door, seeing Laxus looking at some papers than he hid in the drawer of his desk. "What's up?"
"I'm sorry for behaving like that, Laxus. I'm just a bit enraged having Lucy experience that."
"Sorry for snapping there too. No one's perfect. We all have flaws so it's fine." He said smiling.
"But it still wasn't good saying some of them in front of Lucy. She's a smart girl, she's figure it out faster than we could expect."
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Everything went blur at that time. It's just that..." Laxus sighed as he combed his hands through his bangs, moving his spiked headphones a bit back. "The Lobster family isn't something to be joking about..."
"What's with them? Tell me everything, Laxus, it isn't good hiding this." Tamaki insisted.
Laxus looked at Tamaki's persistent expression and sighed again. "Fine, I guess Mom and Dad was going to tell you sooner or later, but here I go." Tamaki sat at the edge of Laxus's bed and Laxus rolled on his computer chair.
"The Lobster family has a blood line of sociopaths. It's been laid down, generation of their family members."
"You're kidding me? A family of psychopathic killers? This must be a joke..." Tamaki gulped. "Right?"
"You think I'm joking? I'll punch you in the face if you don't take this seriously, bro."
"Note taken...Continue." Tamaki focused.
"You remember always seeing dead animals in the Lobster's yard?" Tamaki nodded. "Always hear shouting in their house, right? By the maids?"
Tamaki nodded again. "So? That happens here too."
"Listen to me, I told you I've seen things much worse than anything you could think of. Now, those are some signs that people are psychopaths, animal cruelty, no sense of emotion or sympathy. And now, adding up to all I've researched, Michelle hurts Lucy because of her leaving for a while. I can't tell you everything, but in short, staying away from them is the wisest decision." Tamaki was dumbfounded.
"But...but...that doesn't excuse you for not helping Lucy when you saw what's happening..."
"That's just it. I'm not an idiot. I wanted to help her. I wanted to beat the crap out of that girl, but her family is powerful, even psychopaths can imitate actions of people for them to blend in. They can make connections with people, much more impressive than normal people can. It's not impossible that if I stop that little runt, she'll do something to get back at Lucy since she's not going to be contended." Laxus paused.
"Not the black haired woman in their house would do something." Laxus continued.
"Does mom and dad know about all this?" Tamaki asked.
"Of course they do."
"Then why did they let Lucy play with that girl?!?" Tamaki asked a bit loud. Still confused and shocked, not able to balance the information given to him.
"We've been waiting for a time that they'd do something to Lucy, that would be a way, a reason for Lucy to stay away, to not let the Lobsters suspect that we know what they really are."
"What happens if they know us knowing about what they are...?"
"They'd kill us. It's no blur. If the information of who they really are leaked out, it'll cause a major crack in their business, making us the main target. They'd want to have a clean slate and by clean slate, no one knowing about the truth. Meaning no 'us'."
Tamaki gulped. "So you've been using Lucy as bait??"
"We were waiting for the right time to protect Lucy from them, without them suspecting a thing."
"This is so messed up." Tamaki stated, holding his head with both hands. "I can't believe this. How did you get that information."
"I went through hell to get a hold of it...." Laxus said, somehow recalling a dark moment in his life.

I simply adore my father for having such a long term patience. It's hard to be patient when you have people who complain, I mean, my brother was enough to make me leave the house or even the country, but then there's my mother!
They are like clones, they think and act the same. A bit different, but still the same.
I hope you guys appreciate your fathers too. They do a lot. I mean it. Have a great day everyone! :)
