A man who can't tolerate smaller misfortunes can't accomplish greater things

"Greeting your highness" crown prince Marcus bowed to Princess Y/n after entering her room. "I didn't expect Crown prince to bestow me with your presence?" though her words sounded warm her eyes held glares that could kill him. "I was merely passing by when I saw you. I couldn't leave without greeting as you are part of family now" Y/n signaled to William who left immediately. He knows he has to stop Ina from visiting. "I would have appreciated it if you informed me rather than barging in like this"

"I apologize" he mocked at her but she didn't say anything. "This is the best tea in the imperial city. I specially asked them to prepare it for you" he said as one of the servants brought special tea and placed it on the table. "I couldn't toast you yesterday in the banquet. So I would like to do it now" he poured tea in two cups and raised his cup. Though normally wine is toasted since it day time he offered her tea. She looked at him suspiciously so he placed the cup down smiling with malice.

"We would have shared nuptial wine have we got married" Princess Y/n clenched her fists at his words but didn't say anything. "Pardon me if it was out of line. We wanted the best for our kingdoms and I am happy as long as everything is fine" he drummed his fingers on the table thinking about it. "I believe you are clever and wouldn't disturb the peace of the capital"

"I wouldn't disturb you anymore since you are displeased" he looked around the room one more time before leaving. "Ah I forgot" he stopped and half turned towards her. "Imperial city is known to be dangerous place. You should be careful" he left immediately without giving her chance to react. She is aware that he is warning her to look her back. She is already aware of the dangers even before entering the imperial city.

Just within three days they tried to assassinate her and poison her. Now they are openly warning her. His message is clear. He came to warn her about not doing anything stupid. If she tried to help Prince Jin in ascending the throne he wouldn't spare her life. She scoffed at his warning. Does he seriously think he is capable of hurting her? He may be smart but he is not smart enough to outsmart her.

She signaled Amera to clear the tea and the cups used. She replaced them with new ones and poured the tea which they have ordered. She leaned against her chair and looked out of the window. The women who were dancing on the stage were stunning and their moves were captivating. But it didn't interest her as she is more interested in the music which is produced in the future. This doesn't suit her taste. She pouted and looked around the place downstairs. 

She stopped her movements when she spotted the shadow of the familiar person. "William?" he came and bowed to her. "Check if it is Prince Jin" he left within a second and returned after few minutes confirming it is indeed him. She chuckled at his tactics. "Amera order some wine for Prince Jin room and tell him it is treat from me"

As per Princess Y/n orders Amera ordered wine and took the servants to his room. She knocked and waited in front of his room. "Greeting Prince consort, Princess Y/n asked me to deliver this for you" since Prince Jin has married Princess Y/n his title has changed to Prince consort in their kingdom. So everyone from Astral Kingdom address him in the way. "I will keep these here. Hope you enjoy your time" she bowed to him and left the room leaving two men surprised. "She is indeed smart"

"I told you that already" Jimin looked at Prince Jin who was leaning on the sofa bed with his closed eyes. He has a small smile and peaceful look on his face which made him look so innocent. But he of all people knows that he is not anything but innocent. Prince Jin has been fooling everyone around him since his childhood. No one knows his real face except Jimin and Taehyung. Not even his mother is aware of his real face. He was surprised when he heard what happened in Astral Kingdom.

He didn't believe when he said Princess Y/n has seen his true intentions and offered to help him get the throne. He thought a woman wouldn't be capable of it but now he believes it. She managed to save herself from the Crown Prince Marcel attack and she outwitted the queen in the banquet last night. Now she even sent wine as way of saying she is aware of Prince Jin tactics. "Did you really help her set a meeting with Ina?" Prince Taehyung asked Prince Jin who was still silent. "I did"

"She wouldn't come" Prince Taehyung has known Ina since childhood and he didn't like her getting involved in the politics. "Don't worry, Princess Y/n won't hurt your lover" Jimin teased Prince Taehyung who in reply glared at him. "She said she wants to gain their trust and I would like to see how she will do it" finally Prince Jin opened his eyes. "Why did you agree to her words hyung? I don't trust her" if prince Jin can considered as cunning and calculating man then Prince Taehyung is cold and kill before ask questions type of a man.

He doesn't trust anyone at all including his own family. He is aware of people around him and maintains distance from everyone. This is why he has been given the military authority by the king. The king firmly believes that Prince Taehyung is capable of handling and maintaining peace of the kingdom. But he still doesn't trust him with the throne. But what the king doesn't know is he can dispose the army if his brother asks him to. It is Prince Jin who hasn't made any move yet.

"Let's see how smart she can be" he glanced out of the window and looked at Princess Y/n room. Ina didn't come even after his request. He smiled sipping his tea casually. He already knows that she wouldn't come after everything happened. He just wanted to see what Princess would do to help him. He knows she is not helping without motive and he wants to find that as early as he can. That way he can use her to his work. "She seems to be smart and I don't want to dispose my pawn so easily"

Jimin felt chill ran down his spine at his words. He has seen his pawns before. He didn't call him cunning and ruthless just like that.

When they were seven he was bullied in the imperial palace. He befriended all the servants with his charming personality and acted like a victim always. But one day when servants were busy with the work he pushed the crown prince in the water and he couldn't recover for a month. When he was eleven he gave mild poison to Second consort cause she insulted his mother.

When they turned fifteen he caused a fire and killed entire Zhao family who were reason for his maternal uncle downfall. He easily covered his tracks and closed the case as accidental fire with few officers' help. Despite being unfavored prince he managed to win half of the court now. Noble families are aware of the rumors about him and try to avoid getting in his bad books. But when they see him they cross they praise him for his gentle appearance and his appealing behavior.

"Are we just going to wait for her then?" Prince Taehyung couldn't understand why he trusts that woman so much. He does agree she is smart but she is not aware of the scenarios in the imperial palace. He still couldn't get his mind around why he has to marry her. "No, I have my plans" Jimin and prince Taehyung waited for him to explain. "Zhang family is doing business with the merchants from south city"

"We found that Zhang family using their power to bring goods in to the capital city illegally. They are selling them on high price and even taking shares from the merchants of the south" this has been going on for a while. Zhang family head is the cousin of the empress. He is the one who was placed in Ahn family place.

"I heard that merchant is coming to City and is throwing a banquet for his people. Let's attend that party" his plan is simple. Sneak in to his party and get accounts books or any clues which can explore their frauds. Once he finds the evidence he can manipulate court with his people and get him demoted by the king. Jimin and prince Taehyung made fool proof plan to work it out. But they weren't aware Princess Y/n is a step ahead of them. She already managed to get a invite from that party and got the location of account books as well.

Jungkook did a pretty good job in finding the details she asked before she visited. She already have complete plan on how to get it all done. Soon Jimin and prince Taehyung will understand why she is the best out of them all.

Hello readers.. How is your new year going so far? I wanted to remove all the past worries this year but since Jan 1st I have been only thinking about past. Things and people are hard to let go I guess.
