You turned the page and I burnt the book

Y/N:

"What were you thinking out there?" I clenched my hands and sat on my knees grounded. "I can't believe you did that. I did everything to arrange your marriage with the best man and you" I felt headache coming at her screaming. "You had to ruin it" I scoffed inside my mind at her acting. Lady Oleta is acting like she did me a favor where in reality she was trying to kill me. If I agree to marry Crown Prince then not only me, all of my future court will die too. This is what happened in the past.

"Prince Jin is a loser Y/n. He is not a man who can protect you. I agree he is good looking but that is all to him. He doesn't have a position or power" I looked down not answering her. "Everyone leave" the king announced as soon as he came in. "You too" Lady Oleta wanted to object but one look from the king made her silent. He reluctantly followed others outside. "I will wait outside too" Yoongi father who is the king trusted man said before leaving.

I grow more nervous as everyone left. I am conscious as I am in front the king of this kingdom. For him I may look like his daughter but I know the fact that I am not his daughter. "Come here Y/n" I got up from the floor where I was sitting on the knees and walked towards him. "Do you want to talk to your father about it?" he stroked my hair and his voice is gentle as he was talking to a child. "About?" I don't know what he is exactly talking about. "I was informed about Prince Jin stay in your chamber for a night"

"I didn't do anything wrong father" I faked tears to make him believe me. "I know honey. You would never do that" he sighed patting my back gently. "I know this was planned by your step mother. I don't understand why you want to marry him though" I looked at him to depict the truth on his face. I know for a fact Lady Oleta wanted to kill queen Y/n but I don't know anything about her father. It is like he was removed from the history. Nobody has told me about him so far. I don't know his relation with the queen Y/n too.

"Though I may have not been the best father to you but I would never force you to marry someone you don't like" he seemed to be telling the truth. "If you really want to marry him then fine but if you like Crown Prince Marcel then I will talk to him about your marriage to him. I will make sure to hide the fact about last night" my mouth dropped in shock at his words. It was like bucket of cold water dropped on me.

I tried everything to avoid marrying Marcel and here he is telling me to marry him.

What is this?

Does he even know that I am the one who made Prince Jin sleep in my chamber?

*One week earlier* (After the discussion from last chapter)

"How do you plan on convincing the king and Prince Jin for this marriage" Yoongi asked me with curiosity. "That is where I need your help" I explained my plan to them. They all looked like fish out of water by the time I finished explaining them about my plan. "Do you think it will work?" I nodded my head at Hoseok question. "It will work for sure"

"You want us to drug Prince Jin and get him to spend night here" Hoseok can't believe my words. Asking a brother to do this is a bit wrong but I don't have a choice. "I am sure you hit your head that day" he turned to Namjoon. "Namjoon, check her. She is becoming an idiot" Namjoon looked helpless which made me pity him. "Hobi" I used his nickname making him listen. "I know what you are thinking but there is a reason why I am asking you to do it"

"Amera come in" Amera walked in and bowed to me. "Can you tell me what you heard when you were bringing the clothes from wash area" I waited for her to explain to them so they will understand. "Lady Oleta maid gave this potion to our cook. She ordered to mix this in Crown Prince Marcel and Princess Y/n meals. When she tried to protest she told her that this is an order from Lady Oleta and shall be leaked to anyone then she will be killed"

"Namjoon check it" Namjoon opened the lid and took a whiff of the potion. I already know what it is.

Aphrodisiac Drug

I can't believe this is what she thought of. I mean do old people not know anything other than using this drug. Every story and drama I watched has this scene. There must be lot of ways to make their plans work without involving this drug or poison but no everyone has to use it.

"It is Aphrodisiac Drug" everyone has solemn faces once they heard his words. "So you mean Lady Oleta wants to drug you both and make sure you both get married" Yoongi answered Jungkook question for me. "She is trying to close all the ways for princess Y/n" I initially didn't plan to use this method but now that it fell in my hands I want to use it to my advantage. "So we will make her plans succeed"

"But there is a small change in the plan. Instead of Prince Marcel, we will bring Prince Jin" I will make sure this news reaches to the king. Then when in court I announce my opinion he will have to agree with me. "Hoseok you have to ask Prince Jin to meet me in my chamber tonight. Namjoon, you and Amera have to mix sleeping drug in his tea and make sure he takes it" they nodded. "We will take care of it"

"Jungkook and Yoongi, I will need you to divert Prince Marcel and Lady Oleta attention from me that day. She will know her plan succeeded but not with whom" that way she will relax. When she is least expecting I will strike her. "Just be careful" Hoseok patted my head and left saying he needs to arrange things for our plan.

I sighed and fell on the bed once everyone left. One week back I was thinking about avoiding my marriage with someone in future. After a week here I am sitting in history in someone else body ready to marry a stranger by forcing him. If the queen Y/n sees it she would have killed me for what I am doing.

I am sorry queen but this has to be done to change my future.

I kept thinking about things and I didn't realize when I fell asleep. "Princess" I woke up to hushed voices of people. "What?" I yelled irritated that they disturbed my sleep. "Prince Jin is here" all the sleepiness left me as I realized where I am. "Help me get ready" once I am presentable I quickly made my way to seating area and greeted him. "Where is your brother?"

"Huh?" I looked confused. "Prince Hoseok asked me to meet him here and he said there is very important matter he has to discuss about Prince Marcel. He can't meet me in his chamber as someone might see us" I understood my brother lied to him to bring him here. "I will call him. Why don't you have some tea while you are waiting" I signaled to Amera and walked inside pretending to call Hoseok. I waited at the door and peeked at Jin. I smiled when I saw him drink from the cup.

"Where the hell am I?" I looked up when I heard confused voice of handsome prince. "About the time you wake up" I got up from the sofa and moved towards the bed. "Where am I? Why are you in my room?"

"You are in my room" his eyes widened and he looked too comical. "How dare you laugh at me? You did this?" he yelled pointing his finger at me. "Shh" I glanced at the door making sure no one heard him. "Are you trying to announce to everyone what happened last night?"

"What happened last night?" he looked down at himself and then at me. "What do you think?" I smirked at him. I am not a bad girl to be honest but every time I see him I want to tease him. It makes fun when his entire face and neck turns red. He is too cute. "You? Why are you doing this to me?" I laughed out loud at his words and his pouting face. I decided to tell him the truth.

I can put blame on him and force him to marry me but if the roles were to be reversed then I would hate him forever. Whether a man or woman, no one should be forced to do anything they don't like. "I haven't conveyed the news to the king yet. If you are willing to marry me then I will proceed with my plan" he stayed silent thinking about everything I have told him so far. "Why are you telling me all of this then?"

"You could have told me about it earlier or you could have proceeded with your plan as you decided so why now?" he is right. I could have done that but I don't think he would agree with me before. "I didn't want to force you in to something you don't want to. About discussing earlier your brother planted spies around you. I don't think you would have of listen to me after our last conversation" I had to divert them with the help of Jungkook to get him here. I don't know what I would do if he doesn't agree to my plan either. But I didn't want to lie to him when we might end up spending the rest of life together. Trust and communication are the key things for any relationship.

"What is it in for me?"

"I can help you ascend the throne" he chuckled at me. "You think I want the throne"

"I don't think cause I know you want it" I sat in front of him. "You can't fool me like you fooled others Jin. I have seen emotions others failed to see in you. Your younger brother is holding on military and you have pretty much half court in your favor and you dare to tell me you don't want the throne" I scoffed at him. "You can fool others but not me" he looked at me like he is trying to look in to my soul. "Fine, I agree to this marriage"

"But one condition" I waited for him to talk. "You have to support me in future when I need your help no matter how hard it could be" I promised him that I will help him.

*Present*

"I have decided to marry Prince Jin father. I think it is best for everyone too" I bowed down and refused to explain further more. "Call Prince Jin" he clapped twice and informed a eunch. "Greetings your highness" Jin bowed to the king and stood firmly in front of him. "Do you agree to this marriage as well?" Jin glanced at me before looking at the king. "Yes, your highness. With your permission I would like to marry Princess Y/n"

"Fine then" the king got up from his seat. "If you both have no objection I will announce this news to the court and your marriage will be in next month"

That's it. I have managed to turn one event from the past. I hope I will succeed in saving queen Y/n and her people from death too.
