She never cared for the crown she preferred the sword

I have been practicing sword fight and archery since I was three. When my parents learned that I could be the key to stop the family destruction they decided to make me unbeatable. I had dedicated my whole childhood to learn and excel in every aspect to become the best queen. I am not sure about the queen Y/n skills but I am confident about myself. I can kill all these people in a snap of fingers.

I stood near the carriage and observed the surroundings. Fifteen to twenty people were fighting with our soldiers. These people were masked in black and their armors are thick better than our both empires. They were built with muscles and looked terrific. If it is in the future I would have said they are on drugs. They are attacking like it is the only thing they know. Something is not right.

I looked around and found an abandoned sword. I picked it and checked it once. It should work. I removed my coat and throwed it in the carriage. "Going somewhere princess?" I heard a taunting voice behind me. "I can't let you go now" I turned towards him quietly keeping the sword at the entrance of carriage. I pretended to be afraid and raised my arms in the air as I am surrendering. "Who are you? What do you want?" he chuckled buying my acting. "I wish I can tell you but I can't"

"All I can tell you is that I am the one who will take your life" he raised his sword to stab me in the heart but I moved back and grabbed the sword I kept at carriage door. I jabbed his armor near his neck with my sword. He got surprised at my act and I took that as an advantage to pull his sword out of his hands. I took his sword and pointed both of my swords at his neck.

His face darkened and he exploded at me. Launching himself forward with right arm he managed to loosen my grip on the swords. He tried to hit me with roundhouse kick but I back stepped his body and ducked under his arm. He turned around but realized he is trapped between me and the carriage. I grabbed the sword which fell near my feet using my right leg. I flashed the sword and decided to stab him. He panicked and came at me again with full force. I moved aside and he fell on the ground with thud.

He got up quickly and came at me again. This time I crashed my elbow in to his side as he charged. He groaned in pain and I took this time to hit his head with my sword. He tried to get up but I kicked his face jumping in the air. I waited for him to get up but he was knocked out cold. "Damn, you don't even fight like girl" I huffed kicking his body. I looked around and realized they managed to kill others. "Princess Y/n, are you ok?"

"I am fine" Jungkook checked me for injuries and when he was sure I am fine he looked at the body on the ground. "Who is it?" I looked down then at him. "A gift for you" he nodded as he understood my words. He signaled his sub ordinate to take the guy. "Do you still want me to go?" I looked up and saw Taehyung and Jin walking towards us. "Yes, make sure you finish the task" I told him quietly. "Don't tell anyone about it until I tell you. Not even Hoseok"

"I want you to pass this message to Hoseok if I don't make it back in three days" I passed him small letter making sure others don't see it. "Do you think something will happen in Luminar Empire?" he asked me surprisingly. "I don't think Lady Oleta planned this. This must be done by Marcel or someone else in Luminar Empire" I can't expect everything to go well this time. I have to be prepared for worst too. "Zedia and Hoseok will handle court matters while I am away. Make sure you complete this task"

"I will do it" this is crucial thing for me. That is why I assigned Jungkook to work on it. "I don't have to worry about you as you are happy with Prince" I looked at him confused. "You were pretty loud last night. I think whole palace heard you" my face reddened in embarrassment when I realized what he is talking about. "We didn't do anything" I glared at him and he chuckled. "Sure you didn't"

"How dare you talk to princess like this" I pulled princess card but Jungkook didn't flinch. "That doesn't work when we are alone. You asked me to treat as friend. Did you forget?" I rolled my eyes knowing it is true. I didn't like it when people maintained distance with me so I asked him last week to be casual with me when we are alone. "You should leave now. I will update Prince Jin about it" he bowed to me and signaled his people to follow him. I don't have to worry about that man as he will take care of it. If he finds anything he will send someone to deliver the message. "Is Jungkook leaving already?" Prince Jin and Taehyung came to me as Jungkook left. "Yeah, he has to investigate this attack"

"I asked him to inform my father about it as not to worry him" they nodded as they understood the problem. They know that I don't trust them completely and vice versa. We do have our own secrets as well. "Did you get hurt anywhere?" I looked amused at Jin question. "They couldn't touch me" he hummed in reply. "I apologize for it princess. I should have been more careful"

"Don't be so formal Taehyung. We are part of family now. You can call me by my name" he looked at Jin who nodded in return to him. I chuckled looking at them both. "I didn't expect such a warm welcome from Luminar empire though" they tensed which cleared it was indeed an attack from them. "I should have been careful. It is my fault" Jin said in serious tone making me frown. "Do I have to repeat twice for you to understand?"

"I thought we are in this together" Taehyung signaled his team to clear the dead bodies. "I don't mind ruining my makeup a little in the battle field. If you both need help you can count me in" I took my coat and got in to the carriage. "I will clear the route and take care of the dead bodies" Taehyung announced and left. "He doesn't trust me" I commented once Taehyung left. "He doesn't trust anyone except me and my mother" he got in and sat in front of me. "He has seen my brothers die in the fight for throne. I hope you understand he can be stubborn sometimes" I nodded my head. I do understand him. It is better to be cautious than cry later. What is the use of crying over spilled milk? We should take care of it when we are holding it.

"So they already started the war" I know they will try this but I didn't expect them to do it this soon. "What should we do now?" I wanted to hear his opinions before proceeding with my plan. If Jin has better option then I will follow him. "I have a plan but I need your help in it" I leaned forward to hear his plan. "I am all ears" I couldn't stop smiling as he told me his plan. I am damn sure this will work. Cant wait to see Marcel face when we finish this.
