With the Road To Wrestlemania in full swing and just one more PLE in the way, things were definitly on the up for Y/N. His feud with Baron Corbin was growing intense, so people did actually get invested and cared about this. Away from the ring, he and Maryse really made the most out of their relationship thus far. The divorce with Miz is through, so he wasn't going to bother them again any time soon. Yes, he did get custody of the kids and yes, Maryse still loved the children intensely, but she was also ready for this new chapter in life with Y/N by her side.

Starting this sunday morning off the right way, the beautiful blonde walked out of the bathroom prepared for a nice time at the pool. Maryse smiled to herself when she saw the meals Y/N prepared while she changed.

Maryse:" You really are out of this world, Y/N."

Y/N:" Hey, I'm not an alien."

Maryse:" Sometimes I doubt that. I mean your help and support, the great cooking skills....and that big-"

Y/N:" Okay okay! Phew, no need to edge me like that."

Maryse:" I'm just playing haha. But seriously, any girl would be lucky to have you."

Y/N:" And you are the one to have me, Maryse."

Maryse smiled to herself and sat down at the table while Y/N poured two cups of coffee. The two knew their limits and capabilities around each other, so they knew how to handle themselves in just about any situation.

Maryse:" Isn't that a bit much?"

Y/N:" You mean the milk?"

Maryse:" Yeah. You've barely got any coffee left in that."

Y/N:" It's still strong enough, trust me. And you're all ready for the pool?"

Maryse:" Yup. You promised we'd go there and enjoy the warm weather."

Y/N:" Fair point, sweetheart."

Y/N leaned over, kissing her cheek before the two actually started eating breakfast. Despite the turbulence from the previous month, things were very calm and collected for the new couple.

Now at the hotel pool together, Y/N and Maryse found a quiet corner away from intruders or annoying people. They just wanted to relax and have fun for a while which they did, especially when Maryse caught Y/N staring.

Maryse:" Like what you see~?"

Y/N:" Every bit. The water makes your body glisten in a really captivating way and the bikini-"

Maryse:" Honey, you're rambling haha."

Y/N raised an eyebrow before realizing that he talked himself into a frenzy already. That happened a lot, so anyone who was near him had to stop the young man one way or another. Maryse' favorite way of doing that was pulling him into a deep kiss, which she did once more right now. She loved this man to the moon and back and vice versa. Y/N wrapped his arms around her and held her close during the kiss until they had to break away for air.

Maryse:" Better?"

Y/N:" Much better."

Maryse:" I know you looove to talk, but sometimes you're too enthusiastic."

Y/N:" I get that. But I can't help it."

Maryse:" Then I'll have to do that."

Y/N:" You're too good to be true, y'know?"

Maryse:" Well, I was your dream girl and now your dream has come true, Y/N. I won't leave you, I won't cheat on you and I won't hurt you, love. You give me everything I need. Understood?"

Y/N:" Yes, Ma'am."

Giggling, Maryse rested her head against Y/N's chest as they sat down on some sun chair to relax a little. They didn't have anything else scheduled, didn't have any visitors or anything that would interrupt their peace. They just had each other and another full day to themselves. And while a few sparks of the past did still linger, the new direction overruled those by a lot. Many people on Raw, Smackdown and NXT asked questions about what was going on, so Miz, Maryse and Y/N did livestreams and shared their sides of the story, not putting more fuel in the fire. They stayed professional, wishing each side good luck in what the future may hold.

For the new couple, there was a lot they wanted to get to, starting with their own family sooner rather than later. Y/N and Maryse discussed the possibility multiple times and just recently set on wanting to have a child. The other side was getting married because dating simple wasn't enough for the two. They have known each other for years now, having learned about secrets, feelings, antics and overall personalities, so they felt like the time was right to tie the knot some time in the near future.
