Malon looked around, drifting on his surfboard on the waves of the water, his Jellicent floating beside him through the waves looking happy and content with their little trip. Rumors of a hostile Samurott had spread across the usually peaceful city, making people afraid to go near it. So he, himself, came out to investigate. "They said it's around here"Marlon mutters looking around. "SAMU!!!" A hydro pump flew his way, his eyes widening slightly in surprise. Jellicent threw himself in front of him, tanking the attack. "Thanks buddy!"Marlon smiled nodding to him. Samurott glared at them both, perched on a rock. Two Oshawotts clung to its leg, a Dewott behind them looking curious. "It's a parent...no wonder it's so hostile...no, it's no wonder she's hostile"Marlon nodded understanding now. Samurott glared at him, stepping forward and looking ready for another attack. Something moved behind her, a girl that looked about his age peeked out, white hair reaching down to her shoulders.

Purple eyes stared at him, filled with curiosity yet caution, an arm keeping the Dewott and Oshawotts back. "Huh, hey! Is this your pokemon?! It's really strong!!"Marlon calls. She shook her head in response, staying cautious of him. "Huh..it's not.."Marlon blinked staring at her.  He eyed Samurott, taking note that she was giving off a more wild aura, than that of a pokemon that had been caught and trained with care. His gaze landed on the girl, noticing her messy hair and worn out clothes that looked as if it had been soaked one too many times. "SAMU!" Marlon snapped his attention back to Samurott, and lifted his hands to show he means no harm. He waved, smiling at the bristling wild pokemon. "I get it buddy, don't worry, we'll get off your turf!"Marlon smiled kicking his feet to paddle backwards. Samurott visibly relaxed as he backed off, the figures behind her watching him go. He turned his board around, using his hands to paddle away, Jellicent behind him as he stared forward.

"Hm...I wonder why she's with them.."Marlon questions outloud. A splash from behind made him look back, Jellicent looking towards the noise as well. Samurott nodded to the Oshawott in the water, the second Oshawott leaping into the water next. "Dew, dew! Wott!"Dewott beamed leaping into the water after the two. Samurott looked at the white haired girl, gently nudging her to the water. A nod came from her as she stood up and leaped into the water, floating around on her back as she paddled around. She dove backwards, vanishing under the surface and resurfaced a few seconds later. Laughter came from her as the two Oshawott's clung to her as she paddled around. "They're a family...that Samurott raised her..."Marlon mumbles staring at them, a smile on his face. He turned away, paddling back towards the shore so he can give a notice to give a limit to how far people can go in the water until the Samurott decided to change where her home was. "I wonder how long she's been with them..she's sorta lucky"Marlon smiled.

The sound of nocturnal pokemon filled the air, Samurott sleeping with her four children curled up against her side. "Hey." The white haired girl opened her eyes, and sat up yawning. Marlon waved to her, causing her to flinch. Quick yet quiet shushing came from him when she went to wake her mother up, a pleading smile on his face. Her eyes locked on him, looking confused. "Swim? Me and you"Marlon smiled. Silence followed, her eyes searching his expression no doubt for any hidden intentions. "Friendly swim.."Marlon smiled holding his hand out. She ignored his hand, diving head first quietly into the water, and swimming away silently. He followed her, watching as her eyes darted around, her head turning left then right then back left, repeating it over until they reached a brightly moonlight spot. She floated on her back, kicking her feet as she paddled around. "I'm Marlon." Her attention snapped to him as if she had forgotten he was with her.

"My name is Marlon"Marlon greets holding his hand out. Her eyes shifted between his hand and his face, then they narrowed, suspicion coming from her as she moved away from him. "I have no bad intentions! I swear!"Marlon gasped shaking his head when she moved further away. He smiled again, taking a chance and moving closer to her again, surprised when the girl didn't move away. "Marlon"Marlon smiled holding his hand up. "Ria.." His eyes widened slightly, her eyes staring into his. "I'm Ria.."Ria mumbles moving her hair from over her left eye. He perked up, noticing the signs of a scar over her right eye which was hidden, but the tip of a scar peeked out. His hand moved on its own, lifting her hair and revealing a large scar over Ria's eye which was keeping her eye closed. Ria looked away, quickly covering her scarred eye. "S-Sorry"Marlon mutters stunned. Ria looked at him, then dove under the surface, swimming away. "Wait! Come back!!"Marlon calls. He stared, watching her go. "I didn't mean to.."Marlon says.
