We both poured all of our emotions into this kiss and which was out of the world. I pulled away from him and said,

" You had become my everything in this short period and I promise to be by your side till the end. Trust me!"

" I trust us!" He and sealed with another breathtaking kiss without any care in the whole damn world.

I tried to deepen our intense make-out session but before that my wife didn't give in and pushed me away from me slightly and looked into my eyes and her cheeks reddened with my intense stare. 

I take in the way she looks right now, The way her baby hair escaped and fell on her face with the drizzle around us, and her as my bride makes my heart flutter with emotions that I had never felt. I thought I had already fallen in love with her but I second that!

Is it possible to fall in love again and again? She is making me feel all those things and I can't help but think I am worth this?

I was lost in my thoughts through her eyes and this devil pulled my beard to bring me back to her and hissed in pain.

"ow, that hurts! Don't ever pull my beard it's my pride. " I said to her while rubbing to soothe my pain.

"No...I called you for about 2 minutes and you were staring at me like I'm gonna run away." she teased me with a funny smirk. This cutie can't even smirk for her own sake of god.

" Well, instead you could have kissed me and brought me back to you but you have to pull my beard? tsk...you are in trouble for that my sweet baby." I whispered lowly and nibbled her lips and distanced myself and gave her my famous grin which was only reserved for her.

She had to take a minute before pulling herself together. I looked up at the sky and the heavy pouring stopped with drizzle.

"Better we leave this place soon or I'm afraid we won't end up at our house," I said playfully and dragged her with me to the bike.

"Gosh, I said to stop the bike but you never listen to me doing what you wish for. God! what am I gonna do with this arrogant husband of mine? See our clothes are fully wet and Oh my god! Your relatives will be there for other rituals they will surely think of something..." Shristi kept on rambling herself.

I think this is my life now....?

I stopped the bike and turned around to face her and she yelped in fear that we might fall and tightened her hands around me. I put my finger on her lips and glared at her.

" No one will say any word and If I hear any other complaint from you I'm gonna leave you here and will go home myself understood?" I said and she looked at me dumb old and of all the things that I said she asked me,

" You will leave me in this standard place and get home by yourself?" With slight tears in her eyes and a small smile lingered on my lips.

"No, I just said that for fun. Do you think I will leave you alone here? Never again think of something like that okay and by the way, don't frown it makes you look ugly." I convinced her and she gave me a pout and looked away from me letting me know that she is mad.

I chuckled at her sulky mood and started to drive when I heard her speak again, " I'm not ugly when I frown, ben says it was cute."

"Yeah yeah... you are cute and, interestingly you are not looking like a ghost with our current state." I teased her and I got hit on the shoulder and damn man it stings...

"You can tease all you want and I will also have my time to tease you." She said with a determined face.

"Yeah...right, you teasing me? tease me all you want and in the end, you will be the one to ask me to stop." I said and it takes a few seconds for her to get the meaning and she let out a gasp and mumbled 'pervert'

We got near our home and there we see our people standing outside to greet us. I parked my bike and held her hand with mine.

"Where in the were you? The car came long back and you guys are enjoying the rain ah? Don't you know.." My aunt was speaking to Shristi with hatred filled and before I could say something dad interrupted her.

" My son asked our permission and we know where they were. There is no need for you to say such things to my daughter. Remember this is the first time she enters our home and don't spoil it." Dad shut her sister with his firm tone.

" I didn't mean like that.." aunt started but after one look from dad she backed off. Then Tarika came with aarti plate and did the ritual to ward off the evil eyes which is much needed and gave the plate to someone and they went out to pour.

"What? why are you standing in our way? Move?" I said to her and she kept her hands on her hip and her other half joined along with her. I knew this would happen and gave them my best innocent look.

" Don't look at us like that? you should give us gifts before entering our house." Tarika said and that twin joined her.

"Mmm... let me see? What I have.." I said and pretend to search for something and in the end, I just flipped my dhoti and showed them nothing.

"Hey....you are teasing us?" Tarun asked me and I questioned him, 

" I don't know why the hell are you standing in the way and Taru I don't have anything with me, sweetie." I mocked her in a childish voice and her face turned red from anger cause I know she doesn't like when someone calls her a sweetie. But then Madhu pushed away everyone and stood in front of me with her hands rested on her hip.

"Mrithun I have less patience right now so give us our gift." She said in a firm voice and my dear wife did nothing but giggle like others.

"Oh my god!" Suddenly Madhu yelled and everyone looked at her.

" Is everything alright? Do you need anything akka?" Shristi asked her worriedly.

" Can you believe that? Give me your hand." Madhu pulled my wife's hand rested on her stomach and a pure joy could be seen on both of their faces.

" The baby is kicking! Mrithun you better give the gift soon... See our angel has also shown us her eagerness." Shristi said tugging my hands. I looked at Madhu's baby bump and smiled.

I moved towards Harish and to an envelope from his pocket. At first, he protested what am I doing but he was surprised by looking at that.

"Hell, Man! When did you even put that in my pocket and I wasn't even aware of it." He questioned me.

"Well, I did that just before we left the mandap and as always you didn't notice. I'm telling you one day someone is gonna steal your things if you do not acknowledge your surroundings." I gave him advice and in turn, he rolled his eyes and smacked my head.

"Here you go and don't think I did this for you people. I just bought this for my little angel." I said with a smirk but these fellows haven't spared a glance at me but were busy fighting with each other to open and Tarun got his hands on them and pulled the papers out and read them.

"I think you made a mistake bro, I mean why are your Honeymoon tickets with us?" he asked.

"Mental, Just look closely it's for you guys. Tarika was asking me to take you guys to Shimla but was not able to and our honeymoon will definitely not be a cold place rather I prefer Thar desert what say, wife?" I asked her.

She blushed with all the teasing around us but I was able to enter the house finally with my bride.

"Kick this rice kalasam with your right leg and step inside dear." Mom said to Sri and did what they asked her to and we went straight to our pooja space.

"Finally, Banu you got your second daughter-in-law, and that both of yours is a true beauty." one of the aunties said to mom.

" yes, my daughters are both beautiful and kind. Don't put your evil eyes on them." Mom said and smiled at us.

" Sri Kanna, light up the lamp and pray for your future da." Mom said and I was standing beside my bride looking at what she was doing and started with aarti to the god and prayed for our life and love.

" Now, both of you get dressed you guys are still wet. I don't want you to catch a cold." Mom said and I held Sri's hand to get away from this crowd but Madhu stopped me.

"Now, What?" I was frustrated right now. Can't they leave us peaceful for even a minute?

"Mr. You can't take her to the room with you as there are more rituals to do so let us take her to my room and get her ready and leave to your room and take rest for tonight. You will need it." She said making me look at her stunned and a little embarrassing cause everyone started to tease her. I somehow escaped them to avoid more of such teasing and looked in the living room only to see my brothers and dad spread on the couch like starfish.

I joined them and had a drink. Suddenly Tarun asked, " You guys won't be here to spend the night right? Cha... I thought of hiding the room key and blackmailing you from entering the room." 

"Thank fucking god for that." I raised my eyebrows challenging him.

" Let's go with him and stop him from entering his night," Karan said and jumped on me and I pushed him down with a huff.

" Remember our deal machan?" my idiot friend of mine asked but I didn't even look at him. We were all bickering with each other and I still didn't change my clothes with a final warning from mom I moved to my room and changed my clothes.

While I was leaving downstairs I heard something break but didn't give it much thought. Reaching there mom was serving food to all and my wife left me alone to eat the food. She was feasting on the food like no other day.

"Wow, Women slow down food is not gonna go anywhere." I teased her but the little devil shrugged and ate her food, I was looking at the beauty in front of me and served her more for her.

"Here, you to have some." She said and fed me along with her. Boy, I can get used to these and we had a great time until the same breaking sound was heard but this time it was a glass flower vase broken in the hall.

We looked up only to see Nethra standing there with her dress torn and bloodred eyes and blood flowing out of her palms. She looked so depressed and horrible in her current state. We all got up and rushed to help her but then she held the knife in her hands.

"Dare anybody to come near me, I will slit myself." She said and looked at me.

" Why? Why can't you see me and all these years I saw only you but you never even glanced at me." Nethra yelled at me and her eyes filled with tears once again.

" All I ever said was you will get married to your mama and live happily but look at this, he is happily married but not with me but that bitch." She spat her words at my bride. Instantly I covered her from those eyes. She looked lethal and not in her right mind.

"Yes, It's all because of her my daughter is like that, she even turned my family against us, and not even a day she create trouble," Aunt said and glared at Sri.

What the fuck is this mom and daughter plotting?

" Miru, look at us she is the one for you just forget her and come to me, okay baby." She said and moved towards me and I know that she consumed drugs which is not good. Her steps were floppy and she is out of her mind which is dangerous for all of us.

"Nethra, Look you go up to your room first and I will come there okay?" I tried to divert her but she started to cry loudly and everybody gathered there to look at the drama.

" See you are saying this to protect that slut. How do you even know she is pure and she looks all innocent but has greed that's why she married you this instant and she loves the money, not Mrithun. Do you think she loves you more than me...oh please for heaven's sake I love you since I know the meaning of love." She started to scream and this made Shristi hold my hands tightly.

"You fucking bitch take your filthy hands off him and wash it away...Don't come near him and don't even look at him. Throw away the thread he tied around you as it's just a fake act. Ask me how much you want and I will throw away the money on your face." She said and pulled some money and threw it at us. I just covered Sri in my embrace as I could feel her guilt.

"Baby look at me she is not in her sense. Just be with me okay." I just whispered to calm her but this angered Nethra and started to laugh like a possessed person. She had a determined look which we all know that at any cost she will achieve.

"You don't easily learn things right..." She was still laughing and suddenly threw the knife at my wife and I was quick enough to catch it before it hurts someone but the knife was so sharp that it cut my hands and blood flowed. This made everyone gasp.

I was furious at her action but do nothing cause I know how it feels. She wants to implicit her pain to others.

I moved towards her but Sri held my hand not letting go tears falling out. I promised myself that I won't let her shed tears in our home but right her fear pains more.

I tapped her hands in assurance and neared Nethra and she had a sadistic smile.

"That's right come for me!" She said and those words makes me throw up. But I held her hand and looked at Harish he was ready and waited for the right time.

"See our blood mixed what else is needed," she asked me and I used the chance to lock her hands behind and Harish acted swiftly to inject the medicine.

She thrashed and others came and held her from hurting herself while her mom created another drama. I went to her and looked dead in her eyes.

"Don't ever show your face here and you not wanted and the same goes for your daughter. I never felt that way towards her and fed all bullshit and now she is like that. Control her or you will lose her." I said in a cold tone which I only use to deal with business which makes people cover in fear.

She gulped at me and sweat formed her forehead. Her husband quickly held her daughter in his hands and said,

"You all will pay for the tears my daughter shed. Mark my words..!" He threatened us and started to get away from us.

"This all because of me," Shrishti whispered and I heard her. Then pay close attention to her.

"If only we haven't met she would have married you." She continues to say irrelevant things.

I was mad and shouted at her to stop and she gulped her tears to look at me.

" You think all these are real? Come on Shri you know better and stop with that. I was never interested in her and everyone knows that stop blaming yourself." I said to her.

"But was that her fault to fell in love with you? She is a woman and I can feel her." She explained to me.

"So what you suggest that I should marry her. For God's sake grow up!" I yelled at her but stopped myself from lashing out.

"No, I didn't say that but things would have been different?" She was even confused with her thoughts.

"No matter what, I would have crossed you at some point and would have claimed myself even if it was a different scenario. Do you know why? CAUSE YOU ARE MINE!" I cupped her face with mine and looked into her eyes all the while my blood smeared her face.

Stop thinking about things my love and focus on us and nothing else. Fuck it!
