I closed my eyes to savor the feeling that I'm married now. Then I felt Mrithun fill my forehead partition once again but this time he used kungumam. Lol!

I let out a chuckle and opened my blurred eyes to look at him. He smiled at me and wiped my eyes and gave a sweet forehead kiss making me blush even more.

"Now, you are my pondati!" (means wife in Tamil) he said with a proud and cocky smirk on his face making me fall for him even more. everyone cheered for us and congratulated us.

They asked Mrithun to put the metti( Toe ring) on my toes and take seven rounds around the fire, Completing our marriage. With that pandit Ji announced us as 'Husband and wife.'

We both stood up and got the blessing from our elders and parents. Then our siblings hugged us tightly making us laugh at them and completed the rest of the rituals.

Its finally time for me to take a leave from here to my new home leaving my parent's, my sister's and my grandmother behind to the new chapter. Leaving is never a easy task, we leave our home to another but the warmth of our space may or may not be received in another space.

Within a blink I'm inside the car and looking through the window were my family stands their eyes filled with tears. My dad took hold of my hand and embraced me before giving away me to my husband. I was his little girl and now I am women for another men.

Elders said the auspicious time has neared and asked us to leave but I was not ready... I got out of the car and runned towards my family and got into their embrace once again.

"Amma( Mom) I can't... please!" I said but she couldn't help but shake her head and gave me her most sweet smile and kissed my forehead. Then led me towards Mrithun. I look up at him and he just took me into his embrace and got us inside the car.

He hasn't spoken a word but his silent promise gave me strength. Is this moral support? Our eyes met and said, " Trust me." and I lost myself into him. Once the car started my eyes never left the people who raised me. Is this how it feels once we get married? Is this right?

So many question popped into me but my trance was got broken by my husband. He asked the driver to stop the car and got out in the middle of highway. He took off his garland and came to my side to open the door for me.

I looked up at him with questioned face. He just smiled and took off my garland and took my hands into his. There at distance I could see a huge banyan tree and few people standing under the shade drinking fresh sugar cane juice.

I stayed silent till we reach there and we both were looked ridiculous with our wedding attire. As soon we stopped Mrithun took his vesti it one hand and folded it and looked at me and damn why that made me have tingles all over my body. Then, he asked the vendor to give two juice and got that from him.

He came near me and gave me one as he took a sip of his own. No words again just his stupid smile made me crack a little. But then the vendor asked us, " Inna thambi, Pudusa kalyanam aacha?"( Are you newly married couple son?)

" Ama anna, Ipo dhaa kalyanam mudichitu varen but yen da pannom nu iruku!" he cracked a joke with him and the others laughed making me hit my husband which again made everyone crack at us making me blush. ( Yes brother, Just now we got married but I'm rethinking why I got married!")

" Don't worry! You guys have a long way to go just like this tree." He said and this made me look at the tree with was breath taking and was refreshing as it gives peace. I zoned out until I felt something touch my hand and turned see Mrithun holding the roots of the tree and pulled me to him.

" hey my wife! how do you feel right now?" He asked me.

" I guess better but I'm still sad." I replied.

" Are you sad that you got married to me or?" he teased me and in turn I just pinched himmaking him hiss in pain.

" Oww, here I thought I would romance my wife but here she is hitting and pinching me like a baby." he said and uncontrollable snort left my mouth and started to tease me more. He always makes me forget about what had just happend.

The chilled breeze passed us making me look up at the sky. Best time to go for ride in the bike and my thoughts were interrupted by a bike which was now in front of me with my friend Ben and Karthik.

" Thanks da, Now you guys can leave." Mrithun said and took the bike keys from them and they turned to me and bid goodbye before I could have the chance to ask what's going on?

I looked at Mrithun and took me to the car and helped me to remove few jewels and kept inside the car where Ben and Karthik took our place.

" Mrithun what's going on? " I questioned him and he just kept his finger on my lips shutting me with his ocean eyes and there goes my world stops at his eye sight. Then he got on the Royal Enfield bike and helped me to hop on and took off the road.

" You know its one of my wish to ride the bike with my wife as soon as I got married and with a beautiful weather like this who in the world would miss this." Mrithun said to me.

" Oh really? Why this kind off wish?" I asked him while one of my wrapped around his torsos and my face rested on his shoulder. He let out a laugh and said,

" I saw a movie as a child and the hero and heroine gone out for a bike ride like this. I loved that and thought why not try with my wife." He held my hand ride the bike with one hand and I can't help but peck his cheek.

" Wow, That's my first ride kiss." He said and I smiled at his stupidness but I joined with him and said, " Well, all of my first are with you." He ruffled my head and small drops of water were falling on us.

As he speeds up so does the droplets of water from the sky.

"Mrithun! Stop the bike let's get under the shade ...even I can't see anything." I said to him with little panic in my voice and just then a stupid thought came to my mind what if we got slipped?

No!no!no!no!.... I didn't realised I said that out loud but Mrithun saw my uneasiness and halted the bike.

I got down and held myself from crying on...and held him in my embrace.

" Hey....shuh! Look at me..." He made me look into his eyes.

" We are okay...Don't get panic...let's count from one to ten...right ..now focus on me baby." He said and all the I got saw his eyes.

We counted together to slow down my heartbeat and then hugged me to his chest and spoke sweet things all the while the sky is pouring down at us.

All the pent up tears burst up and I cried my heart out letting out my emotions.

He just held me and gave me the warmth I missed and the safeness I felt in his arms there were no words and I realised that he is my safe place and my warmth.

" I know what you are going through a nd trust me I won't say it's alright because you have every damn right to feel the emotions you are going through. I won't say I will be there for you but stay right beside you until you ask me not too. I didn't marry just for you but I married you for all of you. You are my light and I'm not ever gonna let that fade away from us. Words can't express how much I'm in love with you but Mrs. Mrithun you are just for me." Mrithun said to me and this left me speechless.

" You are my light and I am your warmth." He whispered the last part and I pulled him closer to me.

We could hear our heavy breathing and the little droplets covering our body made hot and just like that my lips met his and this is our first kiss as Mr. and Mrs.

We both poured all of our emotions into this kiss and which was out of the world. I pulled away from him and said,

" You had become my everything in this short period and I promise to be by your side till the end. Trust me!"

" I trust us!" He and sealed with another breath taking kiss without any care in the whole damn world.
