I never believed in God after what happened but right now I'm sitting behind my God-given gift, My angel!

I can't believe that we are here and in less than 12 hours she will be mine. My wife!

Never thought I would apply Mehandi on my hands but one pretty look from her and I'm cleanout. She has me wrapped around her little fingers and will do whatever she wishes me to do.

So, yeah I'm sitting beside her applying Mehandi on my hands and elders teasing us to no extent. My girl looks so beautiful with her pink-green chudi and her hands filled with patterns and designs. Her face glows with a new bride look and her shy smile compliments and completes her look.

One word if have to describe her, It would be 'Flower'. Blossomed just for me to have her for her lifetime.

I was busy admiring my beauty but then my brother has to spoil every fucking thing. I gonna kill him one or the other day.

"Okay... So the bride and groom have finished with their Mehandi ceremony, Now it's TIME TO PARTY!!!!!" He yelled in the mic and made another shout with him. Even Shristi hooted along with others. I shook my head and gave her a look.

" Oh... Don't give me that look, Mithu. Come on enjoy... Don't be a spoilsport." She said and nudged me making me smile at her attempts.

" Okay now, We have loads of plans and games with us. So guys get ready...and I invite my co-host, my brother and best friend Mr Karthik to come on the stage!" Tarun asked Karthik to join him.

As if one monkey is not enough and that monkey asks another monkey to accompany him. Please help me with these people!

I thought to myself. God only knows what these people had planned for us...especially me!

"Inga enga stage iruku enna adhu mella vara sollara? (Bro? Where is the stage that you are asking me to join you?) " Karthik mocked Tarun while others laughed at their antics.

"Right, Sorry brother forgot about what I said." Tarun said laughed at his own pity jokes. Then they both turned in my direction and gave me a huge smirk.

" Now, I ask the Groom to leave his beautiful Bride aside and join the guy's gang to enjoy his last hours of being a bachelor," Tarun said to me and mockingly raised his eyebrows.

Told you these monkeys will do something stupid. Here it is!

With that, my brothers, my friends and Shristi's friends drag me along with them and made me sit on a separate couch and the others sit along my sides.

Likewise same happened with my girl. So it's gonna be Girls Vs Boys. Even our family members joined us.

" Okay... The thing is we have lots and lots of prizes with us. So I want all of you to participate and collect all the gifts along with you. Don't miss this opportunity ladies and gentlemen!" Tarun said to us with so much excitement which made us get into the vibe.

" That's the sport guys. Now, Tarun can we tell them what's our first event is?" Karthik asked him.

" Well, of course! Our first event is Fashion show. We decided that since these girls took a lot of efforts and time to look beautiful with their make ups and other things. Then they will complain that they look horrible at end of the night. Hence we want our girls and boys on the floor." Tarun said to the audience in which got a huge boo from the girls side.

"As if you guys won't be looking like a monkey at the end!" Shalini said this to the boys and girls started to giggle at us.

"But we don't take so much time like you girls to get ready. We are like two minutes ramen. We are instantly ready for any occasion!" Tarun replied and all of us hi-fied and clapped for his comments.

The girls were fuming but dad took the mike from him and said "Dont you dare say those things.. I'm saying this out of experience and now start the event." We all chuckled at his words while mom gave him a death glare.

"Okay.. Lets start the show. DJ music please!" Karthik said to DJ. As it was a battle between the girls and boys, they to be coupled and walk down to be judge and the judges are none other myself and Shristi. Cause why not it's our day.

" Now judges Don't favour anybody and please be fair in judging." Tarun said to us while Shristi happily nodded her head while I just sighed at him.

The First pair to come on the floor was my sister and Varun, Shristi's friend. Let just say my sister wore a beautiful White lehanga and Varun wore dark blue Sherwani. And obviously my sister stole the show by scoring marks and the gave me death glare to give her more marks.

I just laughed at her and said the score to my help and he is marking for me. My girl was having so much fun that she was giving me glances and making cute faces. She looked so happy and that's what I want.

Next comes Tarun and Shalini. Both of them wearing lite green colour outfits and both of them bickering with each other. Which made us laugh at them. Then Karthik and Shruthi, She wore a beautiful and simple dark blue fork. She was blushing the whole time while Karthik maintained a cool guy look by wearing black suit.

Next came up Raghav (my cousin, Nethra's brother) and Shravani on the stage. Both of them were confident in the looks. I double looked at the guy and that when I realised that Raghav came to my marriage on time.

This bastard has the audacity to stand there without meeting me. As if he heard my thoughts, he mock saluted at me while I showed him my fist. How much I missed him.

Up next came Karan and Shakthi, Shakthi wore a lime yellow chudi and Karan was wearing a blazer. Then it was Lavanya and Ram, They both were wearing matching outfits and looked so good together. Everyone could see the love bond they have with each other and last to come up on stage was Razima, Nisha and Ben.

Ben tired his best to show he is the best standing in between the girls. We all laughed at him.

" Well, I think that's all we have..." Tarun started but stopped as soon as seeing Nethra on the floor. She was wearing the most revealing outfit in an family event and she walked down the floor with an attitude. As she did her study in fashion she knows what she was doing.

She gave me a smug look and blew a kiss to me, which really made feel a bad kind of weirdness. I looked up to see Shristi giving me a death glare. Hey! What would I do if she gives me a kiss?

With one last glance at me, Nethra walked off the stage. Then with that Tarun asked for the results and holds the mike 🎤 for Shristi. Then Karthik sat behind me.

" Okay anni, what's your judgement? The most scored mark was by the boys right?" Tarun asked Shristi wriggling his eyebrows. In turn she playfully pushed him.

" Hmm... You know it's really difficult cause the girls were all beautiful and Guys were handsome. But you have to know that the girls were gorgeous and did a great job! So yeah....my points are high for girls....but unfortunately you guys also tied up with the girls... So I think we should ask Mrithun cause my scores are equal for both of us." My girl says making every participants groan while the Elders laughed at us but she made a mistake by handing over the toughest job to me.

" Well, Mr Mrithun? What does your results say?" Karthik questioned me with curious face? I got up and took the mike from him.

And I got to the center of the floor and looked at everyone.

" I'm sorry to this guys but the girls won this event. I have to agree with my wife as she said the girls were gorgeous and they knew what they were doing. So it's fair that they won this event." I said my results and the girls jumped in joy and started teasing the guys.

While they were ready to tackle me, I started to speak again, " But you guys were no less. So I'm taking the full responsibility of the expense on where ever you guys are ready to party after our marriage. And remember it's just for a night and not more than that."

As soon as I finished I was tackled not because of revenge but as joyful pigs who just got into wet mud. They thanked me and shared a smug look at the girls. And their jaws were on the ground.

The girls all received a Gift voucher for beauty salon and other make up products. So they knew they were gonna win that event.

" Now... Now.. Now. We can't miss the Bride and Grooms show.. Right? So bhaiya and Anni come on to the stage." Tarun said and stood up and helped my girl to get on the floor.

We both walked and posed to the photographer. I held her close to me as my hands rest on her waist and what she did took me off the guard. She suddenly turned around and kissed my cheeks and pecked my lips.

I was still gazing at her with my eyes wide and mouth open but she just gave me a sweet smile and walked away from leaving me alone on the dance floor grinning like an idiot looking after her.

" I know brother... You are feeling giddy and whatsoever, But I want you to take your seat so that... We can continue our event while you smile like a mad man." Tarun and Karthik teased me. So I locked both of their head in my arms and taught them a lesson.

They both were rubbing their heads and cursing me. Shristi was laughing whole hearted at my antics. So I just winked at her making her blush. Ah there is my shy baby.

"So... My brother is in romance mood. We can't do anything about that... So let's continue our show. But one thing is where is my Bhabi? I haven't seen her since evening?" Tarun asked Karthik.

" Same thing? I wonder where she has gone? Oh...yeah I remember now! She was practising a special dance for the couple. So people lets have big round of applause for the beautiful lady. Madhu Bhabi the stage is your....!" Karthik said and got off the floor.

Then My sister in law came and started to dance. She always loved to dance in parties, weddings. I don't even have to say it's my wedding. So I kind of expected her to dance. Even my brother Harish joined her. They both were dancing gracefully.

When they finished dancing...we were all on our foot cheering them. Madhu all of a sudden got overwhelmed and hugged Harish anna. He just laughed at her and picked her up in his arms and walking to their coach and placing her on his lap trying to cool her down.

I went towards them and bought them into embrace and hugged them. I love these two so much and now the baby is going to be the most loved person. I just know.

"Thank you so much guys. I love you both. You both done a lot to me. I won't forget it forever." I whispered so that only they could here me. In return Madhu hugged me and gave a huge smile while rubbing her baby bump.

"I think the baby is too having so much fun at her uncle's wedding. I can feel her light kicks." Madhu said and giggled to herself making us smile. My brother hugged her protectively around her and the baby. I just took few money and rounded around her stomach and then both of them and gave away the money to the people who were working there.

Then I went to my place and noticed that the guys were not beside me but one the floor.

" So now get ready for the huge performance of today! It's dance from the boys gang!" Karthik yelled and threw the mike to the DJ and then joined the dance crew.

Watching them dance I couldn't stop laughing. Everyone were laugh at the boys dance and to that it was awesome was an understatement. Somewhere in the middle they pulled me with them and made me dance along with them.

We were having so much fun and after a very long time im enjoying such events. We rounded and hooted all the way having our time. We even asked our dad's and Shristi's dad to join us and they did cause why not our my wedding.

We guys had so much fun that practically the girls shoved us off the stage. Now the girls were talking to the DJ which brought me nostalgia of the first time I met my girl. I was looking straight at her which caused her to look into my eyes.

No words spoken but I knew what she was thinking. Her eyes were speaking all the things that I want to hear. I mouthed ' I love you ' to her and she smiled and responded to me.

Then the girls took their place and started to dance. We were watching the dance but as soon as my girl joined the floor and started to dance, I forgot myself on how she dances and how her eyes looks for me and only me. How she steel glances and blushes as she notice that I caught her. It was a sight that I could enjoy for a lifetime and I knew for sure even when we are old and wrinkled we still would share these moments with each other.

Once she finished with her dance I got to her and hugged her tightly to myself.

"Baby... You were absolutely beautiful dancing over there. I loved it and this brings me a lot of memories." I whispered in her ears making her blushed and returned my hug.

"I take that you loved my performance then?" She asked me with a mischievous gaze and a small smile tugged her lips. I kissed her cheeks and nodded my head.

" Okay that was really a good performance girls and anni you danced so well. So let's all give it up to our Bride." Tarun praised her and we all cheered her.

"Now you guys have fun dancing with each other and wait for the next event!" DJ said and played the music.

We all got on the dance floor and danced out heart out. Even our parents joined with us and danced few moves. I held on to my girl and we both danced together. Either she does the step and I will follow her or she follows me.

My parents had tears in their eyes seeing me laughing and enjoying myself. Last time I was dancing in a marriage function was Harish anna wedding that too it was a disaster and all wish is to keep our family safe for all the evil eyes.

After dancing for almost an hour we got tired and the next event was for elders it was musical chair and the winner was both my dad and Shristi's dad as the both shared the same chair and letting us know that they both won the event.

Totally it was a fulfilled event. Nothing was spoken between me and girl but we know that we enjoyed each and every single moment of us.

I hugged her from behind and hold her in my arms and then nuzzled my face into her neck and hair inhaling her sweet scent while she kept her hand on mine interlinking our fingers swaying back and forth to the music while watching our parents play.

" Are you happy Shri?" I asked her to know that she is really happy and enjoyed her day.

She arched her neck and kissed my cheeks. " More than ever. I couldn't have asked more. Its perfect and I feel content in your arms. What more a girl needs from her soon to be husband. I love you so much!" She said those words making me happy and content as her.

I kissed her forehead and said, " I love you more. Be ready to be Mrs. Mrithun my love so that I can have you to myself and only me!" I whispered making her blush and hid her face in my chest making me laugh. We both held each other with happiness and in each and everyone's face filled with smile as the night begins to fall for the beautiful day to rise for us. For our new beginning!

Hey guys... It's been a so so long that I came up with an update on 01/11/2021.

So much has happened. My PG class started and was busy with it. I will try to update more often.

Now I hope you enjoy this chapter. It's not much but it's what I want to write to feel that both my characters need it and they deserve it.
