Imee's Point of View

Ang mahimbing kong tulog ay nabulilyaso nang makarinig ako ng malakas na katok mula sa aking pintuan. Damn. What this guy wants this time?

"Princess, get up! Someone's waiting for you outside!" Kuya Denver shouted outside. Bakit ba ang hilig istorbohin ng lalaking ito ang tulog ko?

Since all my senses are up now, wala na rin akong nagawa kundi ang bumangon. And what did he said? Someone's waiting for me outside? Who would dare come here this early? Napakibit balikat na lamang ako. Maybe he was just tripping me out. After all, he's good at it. Tsk.

I went downstairs when I'm all ready.

"You're too fast. Excited lang makita si someone?" He even emphasized the word someone. I just gave him death glare.

Since Kuya Denver ruined my mood, I went outside and to my surprise I saw Xydelle leaning on his car with his hands inside his pocket. Is he the someone?

"He's melting." I rolled my eyes on Kuya Denver when I felt his presence behind me. "Puntahan mo na kasi." He added teasingly. Tsk. Dumiretso na lang ako sa main gate gaya ng sabi niya.

"Hey." Pagkuha ko ng atensyon ni Xydelle. When he saw me walking towards him, inayos niya ang pagkakatayo niya.

"Hi. Good morning." He greeted back while smiling.

After that, I felt him steal a peck on my cheek which made me shocked but of course, I didn't let him noticed that.

"Let's go?" He asked. Nangunot naman ang noo ko. What is he doing here in the first place?

I'm about to ask him but Kuya Denver interfered. He told me he can't drive me in school. Sasabihin ko sanang walang problema roon since I can drive alone but he pushed me inside Xydelle's car. Wala naman na akong nagawa. I rolled my eyes on Denver but that guy just smirked at me. Damn. He's really acting like a kid.

Tahimik lang kami ni Xydelle sa loob ng kotse niya. Panaka-naka akong tumitingin sa kanya. He even saw me looking at him.

"What?" I asked with my brows arched nang mahuli niya akong tumingin sa kanya.

"You're cute." He said while smiling.

Three days had been passed since that conversation happened. I don't know how that conversation end that way. Xydelle's adamant. He said he loves me but loving me is not easy. Loving someone like me is like sacrificing your life. Walang kasiguraduhan ang lahat dahil kapahamakan ang laging naghihintay and I don't want that to happen especially to him.

Nakarating kami ni Xydelle ng maaga sa school. Right now, sabay kaming naglalakad sa hallway papuntang room at hindi nakaligtas sa akin yung tingin ng mga estudyante sa amin. Not knowing what the reason is, nagpaalam si Xydelle sa akin kahit na magkatabi lang naman yung room namin. When I saw Irish on his chair, she smiled widely at me. Pero hindi iyon ang nakakuha ng atensyon ko. I'm not sure but she's uh blooming? I don't know. Something's different on her.

Our first subject started. Nakinig na lang ako sa teacher namin. After that, as usual ay hinintay na naman kami nina Xydelle at Zephyr sa labas. It's not new anyway, mukhang nasasanay na rin naman kami especially now that we have lovers here.

Si Aris ay hindi na naman namin kasama. Napapadalas yata yung hindi niya pagsabay sa amin tuwing break time at ewan ko kung saan siya nagsusuot. When I turned my gaze on Zephyr, there's something different on him too that I can't explain.

Since it's their own life, I didn't bother to ask them. Just after eating our snacks, we decided to stay a little longer sa tambayan dahil nagkaroon ng urgent meeting ang mga teachers and other school staffs.

Dahil wala akong magawa, I roam my eyes around the whole university and to my surprised, I saw Aris talking to a girl. Oh wait, if I'm not mistaken, it was Alice, our classroom secretary. (A/N: Si Alice po is yung nasa Chapter 29, nabanggit siya dati yung time na may activity sila Imee which is group mates nila si Celine.) I didn't know they were close.

"Aris! Alice!" Irish called their names. Nagulat pa silang pareho nang makita nila kami.

Lumapit sila sa amin and it seems like they are distant or it's better to say na para bang na-aawkward sila sa isa't isa. Aren't they close? Why are they together then? And yeah, why am I being this observant anyway?

"Bakit kayo magkasama?" Bungad ko sa kanilang dalawa nang makaupo sila sa bakanteng upuan na nasa tabi namin.

I didn't receive an answer, nagkatinginan lang sila na para bang naiilang tapos iniwas nila yung tingin nila sa akin.

I just noticed that people are acting weird today.

"Are you dating?" I asked at nagulat na lang ako nang sabay silang masamid dahil sa sinabi ko.

"Are you okay?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni Irish sa kanilang dalawa.

Lumapit na rin ako sa kanila to tap their back. Well, kung ano mang meron sa kanila, I'm out of it. I'm just curious. Magkekwento rin naman siguro sila sa amin soon.

Hindi ko alam kung ilang oras na kami rito sa tambayan habang nagkukwentuhan ng kung anu-ano. Hanggang ngayon kasi ay hindi pa tapos yung meeting lalo pa at malapit na rin yung uwian.

"Bago tayo magkahiwa-hiwalay, we have something to tell you guys." Zephyr said kaya napahinto kami sa pagsasalita. Zephyr looked at Irish and she just blushed.

"We're officially on." Sabay nilang sabi as they hold each other's hand.

Walang nagsalita sa amin. Nakatingin lang kami sa kanila pareho hanggang sa magsink in sa akin yung sinabi nila.

"For real?" They slowly nod their heads.

Well I'm so happy for them. Now, that explains everything kung bakit may kakaiba sa kanila. Is that the sign of being in love?

"Akala ko naman ayaw niyo sa relasyon namin dahil ang tagal niyong magreact kanina." Natatawang sambit ni Irish sa amin.

"We're just shocked and I can't still believe it." I answered, partly yes though I noticed that there's already something about them.

Label na nga lang ang kulang which is they achieved already. Xydelle, Aris, Alice and I congratulated the two of them.

"Ako rin naman e. Biruin mo napa-oo ako nitong lalaking 'to." Masayang saad ni Irish.

"Charms lang yan, babe." Zephyr interfered making Irish blushed.

Hindi ko maiwasang hindi matuwa habang pinagmamasdan silang dalawa. They really look good together.

"Since when?"

"Kahapon lang. Remember yung sinabi kong place when he asked me if he can court me?" Bulong ni Irish sa akin kaya tumango ako. Nakwento niya nga sa akin yung pagpunta nila sa amusement park noon. "Doon ko rin siya sinagot." She added at halatang kinikilig pa ito. Seeing the smiles on their faces, I'm sure they are both happy and I'm happy for them as well.

"Guys, paano ba yan?" Aris asked.

"LET'S CELEBRATE!" They all shouted in unison except me of course kaya napailing na lang ako sa reaksyon nila.
