Chapter 24: The Dawn of Time

I turned around to face the Lord of the Time. I uncapped Riptide, and Harry took out his wand.

Kronos just laughed, "You foolish mortals. The only reason you beat me was because of that son of Hermes. But now, I have a host who will never turn against me."

Out of anger, I lunged at him.

He simply pulled out Blackbitter and blocked my strike. Harry tried to send a spell at Kronos, but he quickly knocked Harry out.

I was about to strike again, when Athena came out of nowhere and started to fight Kronos.

They were like a blur. I could see them fighting, but it was really hard to keep up with them.

Hephaestus and Ares eventually joined in.

Kronos quickly knocked out Athena and Hephaestus by punching Hephaestus and slamming the hilt of Blackbitter into Athena's skull.

Ares sent a flurry of attacks at Kronos. But by using his Titan abilities, he blocked every single one.

After a few minutes, the God of War tried to turn his sword into an SMG, but Kronos snapped his neck.

Because Ares was a god, it wouldn't kill him, just piss him off.

Suddenly, an arrow struck Kronos in the shoulder.

I looked to see who fired it. Standing at her throne was Artemis.

Kronos pulled the arrow out and said, "That wasn't a bad shot, for a woman."

At this, Artemis' face turned red in anger. She pulled out another arrow, but before she could fire it, Apollo pulled out a sword and attacked Kronos.

Apollo tried to stab Kronos with his sword, but Kronos moved out of the way.

As they continued to fight, Artemis fired an arrow at Kronos. But instead of hitting Kronos, she hit her brother.

"Owww," he screamed.

Kronos took the opportunity, stabbing Apollo in the gut.

Apollo doubled over in pain, grunting, "Urghhh!"

Kronos smirked, "Why thank you for taking out your brother for me. Now, it's your turn."

He attacked Artemis, and before she could even pull out a weapon, she was on the ground, unconscious.

By now, I could see the Big Three standing at their thrones with their weapons in hand.

Zeus said, "You may have defeated my children, but you won't defeat me and my brothers."

My dad charged at Kronos with his trident.

Kronos tried to stab him but my father dodged out of the way.

Hades quickly slammed the end of his staff into the back of his father's head.

"Ahhh!"

Zeus summoned a bolt of lighting, putting Kronos on the ground.

Zeus walked up to Kronos, "Three times you've tried to get rid of us, and three times you've failed."

Kronos spat in his face, "Idiot, you should have faded me when you had the chance. Olympus has run out of time."

Kronos' scythe appeared in his hands, and he slammed it into Zeus' face, knocking him out.

He then punched Hades as hard as he could, stunning the god. He sent the hilt of his scythe into Hades' stomach.

My dad and I were the only two people Kronos hadn't beaten yet.

I uncapped Riptide and slashed at Kronos' head.

He parried, attacking my ribs.

As I dodged out of the way, my dad tried to stab Kronos with his trident.

Kronos stepped back and pulled the trident closer to him.

Before my father could realize what Kronos was doing, he was on the ground, motionless.

Kronos smiled, "And then there was one. This is your last chance, Percy Jackson. Surrender, and you will die a quick death."

I shook my head.

He sighed, "You really are a Seaweed Brain. I just defeated the most powerful warriors on the Olympian Council. What chance do you have?"

He may have been right, but when he said the words "Seaweed Brain", anger rose throughout my body.

I charged at him, Riptide raised high.

Kronos side stepped out of the way.

I struck again, but Kronos knocked me onto the ground.

He began to launch a wave of heavy strikes at me.

I tried to block them, but he was just too strong.

CRACK

Riptide fell out of my hands, the blade split in two.

Kronos just smirked, "I have finally beat you, Jackson. You don't have your daddy to protect you, or your friends to hide behind. I'm gonna enjoy watching you die slowly."

With that, he raised his scythe.

If Kronos' scythe even gives you a paper cut, your soul will be severed from your body.

Kronos slashed at my chest.

I closed my eyes, waiting to feel unimaginable pain, but that never came.

I opened my eyes to see Kronos staring at my chest.

I looked down to see the gash across my chest. But it wasn't bleeding blood. It was bleeding Golden Ichor.

All he managed to say was, "Impossible."

While he was distracted, I reached for his scythe.

Kronos immediately pulled back.

Suddenly, I felt everything around me slow down.

Kronos, unaffected, said, "How? How are you controlling time? You're eyes are gold suddenly."

I was controlling time? That must've been how I defeated Hyperion and Oceanus. Since when could I do that?

I pushed my questions to the back of my mind.

I pulled out my wand and yelled, "Avada Kedavra!"

The green blast struck the Titan at its normal speed.

I grabbed the scythe and yanked it out of his hands.

Kronos tried to tackle me, but I stepped out of the way.

I raised my arms and stabbed Kronos in the back.

Kronos began to flicker before disappearing completely.

I felt my control over time loosen and my eyes turn back to their usual sea green. I dropped the scythe and look at my chest.

It was completely healed. There wasn't even a scar. The only clue to it ever being there, was the rip and ichor stain on my shirt.

Hermes flashed in.

He asked, "Where's Kronos? What happened?"

I ran over to my dad and replied, "I'll tell you after everyone's up."

Once everyone as conscious, and the gods were on their thrones, Zeus asked me, "Young hero, what happened to Kronos?"

"I don't really know," I said, honestly. "One minute he was trying to kill me, and the next, he disappeared after I stabbed him with his scythe."

Hades raised an eyebrow. My dad exclaimed, "My son has successfully faded Kronos!"

Zeus' jaw dropped.

I asked, "Lord Zeus, you wouldn't want to catch flies, now would you?"

Zeus' face turned red. Apollo and Hermes were struggling to keep a straight face.

Remembering that the scythe didn't severe my soul, and that my blood was gold, I asked, "Lord Zeus, Kronos wanted to watch me die slowly. He cut my chest. But the scythe just cut me, it didn't severe my soul like it should've."

Zeus pondered this, "Athena, what do you think?"

Athena opened her mouth, but a flash cut her off. Actually, it was three flashes.

The Fates announced, "All Hail Perseus Jackson, God of Time, Heroes, Loyalty, Swordsmanship, Tides, Assassins, and Heir to Atlantis."

I was a god. That's why my blood was gold, and why the scythe didn't severe my soul. It was the divine weapon of Kronos, the Titan of Time.  And I'm apparently the God of Time.

Wait, how exactly am I a god? The gods never made me one.

I voiced my question.

Apollo said, "I've had this theory for a while now. Basically, I think that in demigods, the godly side and the mortal side are in a constant fight. Because demigods are half-bloods, neither side ever wins. You have godly abilities, but you can still die. I think that all the blessings we gave you, allowed your godly side to win, turning you into a god. You get at what I'm saying?"

Hades asked, "So how long has Percy been a god?"

Apollo shrugged, "I don't know. But probably not very long. Percy, has your blood been gold before today?"

I shook my head.

"Wait," Harry interrupted, "The last line of the prophecy was 'And the Savior will become more.' Percy saved us all from Kronos and Voldemort. I think that it was saying that Percy will become a god."

Zeus said, "Nevertheless, he has faded my father."

Zeus pounded his fist. Hermione and Ron had just appeared in the throne room.

Ron had a napkin in his hand, with a smear of food on his face. He looked around before quickly wiping his face off, and shoving the napkin into his pocket.

Once she realized where she was, Hermione quickly kneeled. She said, "Ronald, do you know where you are? Kneel!"

Zeus huffed, "Finally, someone gives us the respect we deserve."

He glared at me.

Zeus said, "Rise Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley."

As they rose, Zeus said, "Hermione Granger, step forward. For your participation at the Battle of Hogwarts and at Camp Half-Blood, I grant you partial access to Athena's library. I hope you understand why I can't give you full access."

Nevertheless, Hermione squealed. Yes, squealed. I never thought that those two words would ever be put together.

She rambled, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

Zeus nodded, "Ron Weasley, step forward. For your participation at the Battle of Hogwarts and at Camp Half-Blood, I announce you as an Auror for the Ministry of Magic."

Ron nearly fainted, if it wasn't for Harry catching him.

Zeus continued, "Harry Potter, for your participation at the Battle of Hogwarts, Camp Half-Blood, and in this very throne room, I announce you as an Auror for the Ministry of Magic, and hunter of Greek Monsters in England."

Harry bowed his head, "Thank you, Lord Zeus."

"Percy Jackson," my father boomed. "As you are already a god, we cannot grant you immortality. But we can grant you a seat on the Olympian Council. Do you accept?"

I was stunned. Me, Percy Jackson, Olympian God. I pondered this and made up my mind.

I said, "I appreciate the offer, but I can't accept. At least not yet. No offence, but I've fought and lead three wars in the past three years. I would like to live a normal life for a little while. I might be a god, but I'm still a seventeen year old. I still have a life."

Zeus said, "I understand. Do you have another wish?"

I smiled, "I do. I would like to make a new rule. Any god with demigod children must spend a day at the two camps at least once a month. Basically, two days a month."

"You are asking me to modify an Ancient Law," Zeus looked at the Fates. "Would this be allowed?"

The Fates consulted each other before they nodded.

Zeus announced, "Well then. Any god with demigod children must spend a day at the two camps at least once a month."

Thunder boomed outside, indicating that the law has been made.

Two Weeks Later

We stepped off the Hogwarts Express at Kings Cross Station, ready to begin our new lives.

"See ya, Hermione, Ron," I waved.

I stuck my hand out and said, "Until next time, Harry."

He shook it, "Until next time."

Looking back, Hogwarts wasn't as bad as I thought. Who knows, I might even come back sometime. But for now, I'm ready to live a normal life.

I checked my pocket for my wand and Riptide. Hephaestus had fixed it. It's my sacred weapon now. He also upgraded it, so it would work better with my powers over time. Riptide can now turn into Kronos' scythe if I want it too. But I doubt that.

I vapor traveled to my mom's apartment. I opened the door and announced, "Mom, I'm home."

AN: And that's it. This book has been completed. I still have more adventures for Percy. This book is the first in a series that I'm going to be writing. It's called the Supernaturals of Olympus. This will focus on groups of mortals blessed by the gods. The second book is now on my page. It is called Percy Jackson: Legacies of Olympus. It will be a Percy Jackson/Legacies Crossover. I think that you will all like it. Don't worry though, you won't have to watch the show to understand what's going on. Watching the show would just help.

I hope that you've liked this book.
