NICO'S POV

Tera wasn't gone. She wasn't dead. I knew because she wasn't in the Underworld.

I decided not to share that information. It would only result in total chaos, especially for Grover and Percy.

We stopped in a parking lot in front of a twenty story hotel.

"You can go back to camp, Argus." Will said. "We've got it from here. Thanks."

The giant nodded, and we all filed out of the van. As we made our way inside the giant double-doors, I heard Argus drive away behind me.

It was up to us now to finish the quest. And it was up to me to find Tera.

"Nico, you okay?" Thalia nudged me with her elbow. "You look paler than usual."

I nodded, looking into her electric blue eyes. "Fine. I'm just thinking."

Percy pulled out his wallet. "I don't think I have enough to pay for a night...especially not for more than one room."

I love how he just assumed he was the only one with money and the only one who could pay. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw it. At first, I was sure I was mistaken. But no, outside the window, there it was.

"It looks like we won't have to worry about that." I pointed to the army on the hill.

"Kronos's army." Percy growled.

"That means Luke..." Thalia said. I didn't think that her or Annabeth would be able to fight Luke, not with how close they were when they were younger.

Everyone hurried outside, taking their weapons out. Percy had Riptide. Annabeth had her dagger. Thalia had her spear and her hideous shield. I had my black sword. Will had a bow and quiver full of arrows.

Grover took out his reed pipes.

The army drew closer. To be honest, it wasn't much of an army. It was maybe less than 2% of the full army on Kronos's side. There were maybe twenty monsters, and maybe thirteen or fourteen demigods. Thirty-four to six.

Yay.

TERA'S POV

"We kill them now and we won't have to worry about them later. Then, we attack that camp I was telling you about, got it?" Luke went over the plan as we marched down the hill with our army of monsters and demigods.

I wasn't sure what the mortals in or around the large hotel were seeing, but at the moment it didn't matter. I simply wanted to avenge my Dad and get revenge on Percy.

"Got it."

All the demigods and monsters who could were wearing Greek battle armour. Luke had suited me up, too. He had a sword...Backbiter, I was pretty sure he called it.

I also had a sword. It wasn't as fancy as his - bronze and silver - and it didn't have a name. I also had a bow and quiver slung over my shoulder, poisonous arrows at my disposal. But that was for the camp.

"Let's go kill some demigods." Luke smirked, but behind his eyes I thought I saw restraint.

I noticed that Percy Jackson was leading the group of idiots who would never survive against us, or so I was implied to think.

"Tera?" A satyr said my name as we approached. He looked absolutely dumbfounded as he stepped in front of Percy. "TERA!" He shouted louder.

"Luke! What did you do to her? Give Tera back!" A boy with blonde hair growled.

"Tera, why were you with them?" Percy said 'them' as if it were the worst word in the galaxy.

"Well, Perseus Jackson." I started. "I'm on a quest to avenge my father. To stop you and all your friends!" The army cheered behind me. Not sure why, I guessed I'd said something good.

"Tera, we don't know who your Dad is yet!" A girl with golden blonde hair and grey eyes said.

"Her Dad is Kronos!" Luke smiled.

GROVER'S POV

"TERA, KRONOS IS NOT YOUR DAD!" I shouted.

What had Luke done to her? I was so angry. There was an army of so many monsters against us, and Tera was in the middle of it. We needed to save and help her!

We charged.

Well, Percy and the others charged. Will and I stayed back with our long-range weapons.

I started playing a tune that made vines sprout through the asphalt and tangle around nine or ten monsters's legs, restraining them so Will could get clean shots.

That spell required a lot of magic, and my head was starting to spin. But I couldn't stop now. I continued pulling monsters to the ground, but there were still demigods and more monsters.

The monsters I secured were shot by Will, and they evaporates into gold dust.

I felt light-headed and dizzy, and before I knew it, my face was pressed against the asphalt.

PERCY'S POV

I charged a dracaena and chopped its head clean off, turning it to sand.

"Percy!" Annabeth shouted to my right.

A hellhound was pressing her against the ground, threatening to rip her open. I did the only thing I could think of as a demigod charged at me. I called for Nico.

He automatically understood what to do, and magically tamed the dog, leading it away from Annabeth.

Thalia was shooting lightning bolts, and managed a lucky shot - knocking at least six of the demigods off their feet.

There were several monsters left, and they all seemed pre-occupied with someone else, and most of the demigods had been knocked unconscious, so I ran for Tera.

Luke cut in front of me and tackled me to the ground. I went to slash at him, but he was too quick with his sword. Backbiter and Riptide made a terrible metal-on-metal sound. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Tera getting ready to fire an arrow.

It sailed through the air, and with a yelp, embedded itself into Will's thigh. He crumpled to the ground, clutching the wound.

"RETREAT!" A loud, booming voice that could only belong to Kronos shouted. Luke whacked Riptide a few feet away from me, then turned and ran - alongside a few other conscious demigods and Tera.

Thalia made an attempt to run after, but she was too slow. Tera would get away.

I made a wild grab for my sword, then, without thinking, hurtled Riptide at her. It slashed the back of her knees, and she stumbled to the ground, her arrows falling out around her.

"LUKE!" Tera shouted, but Luke didn't turn around. I thought he was too far away to hear, but he might just be a giant douche.

"You aren't going anywhere!" Thalia shouted, locking her arms with Tera so she couldn't move them. Tera tried, though. She struggles and thrashed - until Thalia gave her a massive shock and she passed out.

Thalia turned to me for assistance. I helped her by grabbing Tera's legs. Thalia got her arms.

"PERCY!" Annabeth was screaming behind us now. "THALIA! IT'S WILL!"

She was hunched over his body, Grover was lying beside him and breathing heavily. I couldn't tell if Will was breathing at all.

Thalia and I hauled Tera as fast as we could, and we dropped her beside Grover. Thalia and I dropped to our knees beside Annabeth.

"He's not breathing!" Annabeth said. She looked me directly in the eyes. "It was a poisonous arrow. Tera shot it."

"Two shall be lost." Thalia mumbled angrily.

She was right. Will was gone, just like the prophecy said.

Grover turned his head slowly to look at us. "Did we win?" He asked, still breathing heavily.

Nico shadow-travelled behind me and looked at the three people lying on the ground in front of us.

He looked at me, then at Will, then back at me. He shook his head.
