Author's note and rewritten chapter 1
Ok, first I have to say I'm sorry for not updating every story of mine I apologise for not updating for so long but I had (still have) exams and I had massive writer's block that said, I am back now and after reviewing several books I have decided that several of them are to be rewritten. All rewritten chapters will be in the same books, here's the rewritten version of chapter 1. Enjoy!
Percy Jackson was especially happy today. Why? Because he had finally gotten permission from Athena to marry Annabeth.
Ring in hand, he approaches the entrance to Camp Half Blood. Stepping into the campgrounds, he sees the home he'd never seen since he started the quest for Athena's permission 2 months ago.
Heading into the camp, he starts to have a feeling of dread. New campers he had never seen since he left points and glares at him angrily, while older campers that he knew just give him a sad smile or wave.
He reaches into his pocket and feels riptide, the familiar feel of the pen gives him a little comfort. He sees the Centaur-in-charge of this camp and goes over to him.
"Hey Chiron!" Percy greets cheerfully. Chiron, startled, rose slightly on his hind legs. "Who- oh. Hey Percy, how was your quest to gain Athena's permission?" Chiron asked, turning to face Percy, his hoofs moving on the wooden floor with a clip-clop sound. Percy gave a bright smile. "I did it!" He exclaimed, showing Chiron the ring he had picked out. It was an extremely expensive ring, as Athena decreed that her Daughter should have "nothing but the best". It had a seagreen gemstone surrounded by smaller sapphires. Athena had given her approval at seeing the gemstone and told Percy she looked forward to calling him as her Son-in-law. Aphrodite and Hera (surprisingly) turned up to bless his ring with good marriage.
"That's very nice Percy..." Chiron hesitated, but Percy didn't notice. "Thanks Chiron, Where's Annabeth? I need to find her quickly." Percy asked cheerfully. "She's usually by the lake. I'll go with you." Chiron said and clip-clopped down the wooden stairs and onto the dirt path alongside Percy. They walked in silence, just enjoying the view of Camp Half Blood.
Finally they reached the beach and Percy looked up and down, searching frantically for Annabeth. "Hey Percy! You're finally back!" Jason said, coming up beside Percy. "Oh hey Jason, where's Annabeth?" Jason carefully hides a wince, and points to a section further down on the beach.
Percy strains his eyes and finally spots Annabeth's familiar blond hair and runs off towards that part. "Shit!" Jason curses and runs after him. Chiron gulps and breaks into a trot after the two running demigods.
Annabeth was cuddling with her new Boyfriend, the latest son of Poseidon who was more popular with the younger generations as her ex-Boyfriend Percy had disappeared again 2 months ago and frankly she was done with his shit and wanted a more peaceful life. She was giggling to a joke Ethan said. (A/N: I just have to say here, so that I do not offend any Ethans reading this, I have this asshole in my class called Ethan, so I'm just imagining him being killed a million different ways by Percy, that's all. I only have a grudge against my classmate Ethan, not anyone else with the name Ethan.)
She hear running footsteps in the sand and felt the runner slow down and the air seemed to grow colder, more staticky, like a storm was brewing.
"Annabeth?" Percy said hoarsely. He couldn't believe it. After so many adventures, and the fact he sacrificed two months to get Athena's approval, she threw it away for his younger half sibling.
"P-Percy?" Annabeth's was stunned, she never expected Percy to turn up suddenly. "W-what are you doing here?"
"Well I was gonna ask you to marry me, but I see you have better things, or rather, person to do." Percy's voice was like ice. Chiron and Jason stood behind Percy, showing where their loyalties lay. "You..you can't blame me! You just disappeared for another Two months for nothing!" Annabeth's said hysterically.
"I WAS GETTING YOUR MOTHER'S APPROVAL TO MARRY YOU THESE TWO MONTHS!" Percy roared, the lake reacting to his anger and the middle exploded upwards, scaring many of the younger campers and making the older ones run for their weapons. Percy's voice cut easily across Camp Half Blood. "I USED TWO MONTHS OF MY LIFE GETTING YOUR MOTHER'S APPROVAL, AND WHAT DO I SEE WHEN I GET BACK?!" Percy seethed, the lake waters swirling slowly into a whirlpool, the naiads and nymphs quickly scrambled out.
"Yo bro chill out man," Ethan said, "I understand if she used to be your Girlfriend, but you left, and I came, so chill out and go away and let me have some peace with my Girlfriend here."
Percy's gaze snapped to Ethan. "You.. a son of Poseidon? Hmm, you're like Orion then; a disloyal son of a bitch who became a rapist and is only good with a bow." Ethan saw red and pulled his bow and arrow and fired. This close, there was no way Percy could dodge it, and Riptide was in his pocket.
Percy's hand clenched into a fist and the arrow crumble into pieces and fell at his feet. "Fool. There are water molecules everywhere, and I can manipulate them as a Son Of Poseidon."
By now the entire camp was watching them, most of the younger campers on Ethan's side, every one of the older campers on Percy's.
"You want to know where I was for two months? Getting your mom's approval for this." Moving the water molecules in the air, Percy makes the ring box float from his hand and hover midair. It slowly opens and allows everyone to see the ring. Most gasp in shock. "Well. You won't need it anymore, you might as well give to me, after all, I am her new Boyfriend." Ethan said, moving forward only to be stopped by a blast of lightning and a wave of fire.
Percy laughed, a spine chilling laughter that did not sound like him. "Give it to you? If only you could shoot and fight as well as you can joke. This is my hard work of two months." Percy waves his hand and a cube of water surrounds the ring.
"Let's have a quick geography lesson, shall we?" His grin was near maniacal, which made several younger campers move away in fear.
"The Mariana Trench. The deepest trench in the world. Why is it that mortals need specially made and reinforced craft to go down there? That's due to water pressure. Even Celestial Bronze and Imperial Gold would need heavy reinforcement or enchantment, or substantial thickening to have the walls of a craft that can survive it. The ring is made of mortal silver, although it was blessed by Hera and Aphrodite themselves, and they said the ring will be as strong as our love. Let's test that out." Percy reached a hand out and squeezed. The ring shuddered slightly at first in the cube. Then slowly, everyone could hear cracking noises, and the ring collapses into pieces which are quickly ground to nothing within the sheer pressure in the cube. Percy let's the cube dissipate and pockets the gemstones. "As I have seen. Not strong at all." Annabeth flinches. "I wish all the best in your relationship." He closes his eyes and fades away.
Up on Olympus, as the scene went on, Hera and Aphrodite were talking about Annabeth's and Percy's upcoming wedding.
When the ring broke, they felt a slight backlash of their power returning to them and the winced a little as it gave them a minor headache. They turned their minds inward to see where it had come from only to see the broken pieces of the ring. They felt dread in their hearts and flashed quickly over to Athena's palace.
Percy flickered into existence outside Athena's temple and knocked. She opened the door, having a puzzled look on her face which gives way to concern when she sees the look on Percy's face. "Are you ok Percy?" She asks. Percy mutely shakes his head and raises his hand. A sheet of water appears and a quiet, "Lady Iris, Annabeth please." was heard. Athena looks on in shock as Half Blood Camp seemed to be having a huge argument and in the middle was her own Daughter clinging to the new sea spawn Ethan.
"Athe-oh.." Hera and Aphrodite flashed in screaming for Athena but became quiet when they saw Percy standing there. Athena's face was in a look of shock. "Did you know this?" Percy said, clicking his fingers and vaporising the screen. Athena shook her head. "No...I swear on the River Styx I did not know about this and this is the first time I have knowledge about them." Thunder tumbled overhead which let Percy's shoulders slump. "Thank you Lady Athena." He said stiffly and places the gemstones on a nearby table. "I apologise for the ring. Lady Hera, Lady Aphrodite." Percy says formally and nods towards the two newly arrived goddesses and leaves Athena's palace.
They looked at each worried, and scrambled out of the palace to get to the throne room to call a meeting.

Percy Jackson just wandered the streets of Olympus aimlessly. He thought the last two months over and took out a ring with a soaring red bird on it.
<Flashback>
Percy Jackson was walking through the forest of Wyoming, carefully keeping away from roads and park rangers. Athena told him to have a day off before sending him to Yellowstone.
The sound of a gunshot fills the air as clash of metal on metal could be heard up ahead. Percy drew Riptide and uncapped it, running through the trees in the direction of the gunshot. As he runs towards it, he notices the Mist growing in strength.
Reaching the spot, he notices several clumps of Monster dust and a young female, with blue hair, waving a pistol threateningly at a small group of hellhounds. One leaps at her and she swings her gun to fire only for the rest to leap at her. She gets one shot off before the hellhounds pile on her scratching and biting. Percy leaps into action and swings Riptide, cutting easily through the hellhounds with a single swipe. What's left is a scratched up blue haired female with a lot of Monster dust on her.
"Eww..." she spits. "The dust got into my mouth." Percy grimaced silently, he had accidentally swallowed Monster dust multiple times before. The girl brushes the dust off and turns to face him. "Thank you Perseus Jackson."
Percy's Sword was at her neck in a flash. "Who are you? How do you know me? I've never met you before." Percy demanded. The female smiled and handed him a ring with a soaring bird. "If you ever feel down, and want to start over, hold this ring and say 'atonement'." With that, she pushes Percy lightly back and walks through a swirling bluish White portal. Percy watches the portal close, and looks at the ring in his hand.

Athena was almost chewing her fingernails in nervousness. Hera and Aphrodite sat on their thrones half amused. It was not Everyday that you see the normally unflappable Athena unnerved. Zeus came in and saw his Daughter pacing. He raised an eyebrow towards Hera that asked 'do I even want to know?' Hera just shook her head slightly and patted his throne besides hers; a clear sign that said "Not now. Sit down first." Zeus obediently sat in his throne. After awhile more, the rest of the council arrives. Some walk in, some teleport directly to their thrones from wherever they were. They were all greeted by Athena pacing like a caged animal which was hilarious to see. "Athena dear, everyone has arrived, you can stop trying to pace a hole into the marble floor." Zeus said. Athena stopped and just blinked owlishly in surprise that everyone was there, then gulped and started her tale. When she finished, there was a loud uproar from several of the gods, Poseidon was the loudest.
"Where is Percy Athena?" Artemis asked curiously. Athena shrugged and asked iris to find Percy. They were greeted by Percy standing near the end of Olympus. He was holding a smaller, less decorated ring. They saw him look at it for awhile, and before anyone could call out to him he uttered a single word and vanished. Zeus, Hades and Poseidon winced as a massive hole was broken through the barrier that allowed only allies of Olympus to teleport in and out. They slowed recovered as the hole repaired itself quickly. When they were done recovering, Poseidon asked a single question. "Where did Percy go?"
No one had an answer.
