LAST TIME:

"You know you should sleep sometimes, it is good for the soul. I also just so happen to have a spot open right beside me." I said with a cheesy grin while patting the area next to me Gaia's face lit up with a small blush before a face of frustration appeared. She didn't even say a word before storming out of the wagon, unnoticed by everyone around as I was left lightly chuckling. Oh, how I enjoyed teasing her, it never got old.

Just then something was thrown into the cabin at a high speed and it nearly slammed right into my face before coming to an abrupt halt. I couldn't help but feel a drip of sweat run down my face as I stared at a small black box wrapped in pure jade green mana. The mana was then released as the Wonder Boombox was dropped onto my chest with a light thud. I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as I stared at the small item that had been lost during my fight. Just then I noticed a small note was attached to the box as I moved my head a little before getting a closer look.

'I want a Pangolin steak with all the sides!'

NOW: 2 Weeks later

LOCATION: ????

In a deep region of space, a small ripple began to form in space itself as a figure in armor slowly glided out of the ripple before it slowly closed up behind them. The figure wore a sophisticated set of dark blue knight armor that covered them from head to toe. Intricate designs covered the armor as well as a black hole that lay directly in the middle of their chest plate. This was the same person who had been overlooking the planet Gehelia.

They simply floated through the quiet space around them as their gaze couldn't help but find the massive star system that lay before them. In the middle of this star system was not one, not two, but three huge stars that had formed a rotating triangle in the very middle. One star was blue, another was orange, and the final was somehow a golden color. The figure couldn't help but stare at the 3 stars for a bit before turning their gaze further away.

In the Goldilocks zone of this star system were dozens of lush and life-filled planets, though each was not perfectly lined up in their orbit it was still a miraculous site as the blue and green worlds. Each planet varied in size and from what the figure could see there were many spaceships and even flying figures crossing between planets. Huge spaceports also followed the planets as well and there were even several dozen spaceships that were as large as the planets themselves lying outside the zone.

Who knew how many people truly lived in this star system but if one were to pay attention some of the worlds around this seemed to vary in intensity or aura. This was because these worlds were all different Tiers from one another, all the way from Tier 1 to the flagship planet sitting at Tier 7. This massive Tier 7 planet was covered in beautiful blue oceans and stunning cities that seemed to be anywhere from the most futuristic to being perfectly merged with nature itself.

"Unauthorized warp detected, scanning, person is not registered in defense line, state your business or prepare to be terminated." Suddenly a mechanical voice seemed to fill the person's mind as they glanced at the incoming AI-operated spaceship. Though it was small it was armed to the teeth and ready to blast away as it set its sites on the knight.

"... Puny machine." They said as their gaze hardened and before the spaceship could even move or send a signal the entire thing rapidly crumpled in on itself. It took less than a millisecond for the stadium-sized spaceship to be reduced to a perfect sphere only a few inches across. Not a single explosion or brilliant display happened either, it was like the ship was never there in the first place.

The knight simply gilded over and grabbed the ball and then set their sites on the huge planet, with that they shot forward at incredible speed. So fast in fact it seemed that even light could not catch up to them as they raced toward the planet. Yet as they got closer their speed rapidly decreased and their eyes locked onto a city that seemed to be the center of it all. To actually call it a city would be wrong though, instead, it was a Japanese or Chinese-styled palace that had hints of futuristic touches while holding to the ancient style.

With its many buildings, courtyards, training fields, mess halls, and the main palace in its entirety it took up the space of several thousand miles with ease. Without a hint of concern, the figure shot toward the massive palace and then toward a certain massive courtyard. Down below multiple servants and guards could be seen moving about as they performed their duties. While at the courtyard, the knight was racing towards, had several otherworldly beautiful women in light purple style hanfu kneeling before a metal platform.

*BOOM!*

With that, the knight landed on the metal platform causing a huge gust of wind strong enough to level a normal city to crash into the women and the surroundings. Yet even with the huge force everything was not moved a single inch out of place as the wind died down. As soon as it did the women opened their eyes and began to quickly walk over the red-hot platform with ease as they approached the knight.

"It is good to have you back master." One said with a polite bow and smile as the knight looked her way.

"Where is the Monarch I need to deliver my report." They said as the women stood up and motioned in a certain direction, in a moment the knight followed the female servants across the courtyard. Yet with each step they took it seemed to cover dozens of feet with ease as if teleporting with each step.

"It seems your void step has gotten better Mell. Have you managed to reach Tier 5 in it?" The knight suddenly asked as the head maid let out a large smile.

"Thank you for noticing, I have recently gained enlightenment and was able to advance without the need for any Cores. I am hoping to reach your level one day, but that is so far away it seems impossible. For now, I will simply have to try and advance my Tier to 6 while teaching the other maids as well." She said with a soft sigh as the knight couldn't help but glance back at the other maids who seemed to be slightly struggling to keep up with their speed.

"I am here for a short time, but I will try to help them if I can, I was the one who taught you all in the first place it is only right I should." The knight said earning an immensely grateful look from all of the maids, clearly, their relationship with their master was a close one. As time passed, the group found themselves at the entrance of the main palace itself as an immense aura radiated from it.

"The Monarch is inside, though you are a bit late there are others still giving their reports so you should be fine," Mell said with an informative tone as the Knight paused for a bit before nodding, the glow from their eyes inside the helmet seemed to flash with a bit of hidden emotion before a sigh escaped their helmet.

'Pardon me for asking but is something wrong?' Mell's voice silently echoed in the knight's head as she dared not speak such words out loud. The knight however didn't freak out or yell instead another sigh escaped their lips.

'I just have something worrying on my mind, I simply wish for this to be over. Now let us go inside.' A voice responded to Mell as the woman couldn't help but glance up at the pillar of power and strength before her. Her master was an icon for many and was a Tier 7 powerhouse, yet for them to be worried the matter at hand must have been immensely important. Even after she understood the information Mell's face did not flinch in the slightest, she simply stood up straight and proud behind her master ready to defend her against anything.

*Creakkkkkk*

The giant golden door was pushed open with ease and a slight creak spread throughout the room as voices could be heard inside. The room went silent as all eyes turned their way, in the palace was a huge room covered in brilliant blue carpet with intricate and impossibly beautiful and fierce designs of great mythical beasts. Thou the room was mostly two long tables could be seen on each side of the main path leading right up to stairs.

9 steps of stairs up was a massive giant throne made of some blue crystal that shined in the most splendid soft glow. Even a single glance was enough to calm even the fiercest of people and beasts, the massive crystal itself was carved into the shape of what appeared to be a massive humanoid figure with 6 closed eyes sitting in a lotus position with a black hole in its hands. It was so intricate and detailed that it was almost like the figure was about to take a breath and walk away.

Bellow the massive statue and part of its base was the throne itself, a rainbow of metals and other precious things covered the throne as a lone figure sat in it. An absolutely gorgeous black-haired man who was in his 30s wore a surprisingly simple outfit, it was a simple hanfu that was dark blue and white. It also had multiple designs of black holes and stars on it yet it was not so much it was distracting. Yet the man did not have 2 eyes but instead had 4, each swirling with white and blue hints as they cast their gaze towards the knight.

"Oh? You finally made it, here I was thinking you wouldn't." A smooth as the sweetest caramel in this galaxy voice fell from his mouth as several women in the room couldn't help but glance his way as if wanting to hear more of it. The knight however simply stood in the middle of the pathway between two huge tables that held multiple women who sat at the tables. In total about 200 women, excluding their servants, all of whose power ranged from Tier 5 to Tier 7. Though there were only 5 Tier 7 beings in total.

"If I didn't have to come here I wouldn't have, seeing your face more than once a thousand years is torture as is." The knight suddenly said in a sharp and uncaring voice.

"Silence! You are before your Monarch! You will show him resp-!" Just then a woman with purple hair who was wearing a yellow hanfu yelled at the knight. She even stood up from her seat as her aura burst from her boldly like a flood and everyone paled a bit, she was currently one of the Tier 7 beings in the room. But before she could yell anymore the man on the throne raised his hand and instantly dispersed the aura. The woman's tongue seemed to be caught in her throat and shut up instantly, with a look of frustration she quickly sat down and glared at the knight.

"Such harsh words as usual I see, but I cannot help but smile a little when you get all feisty. You haven't changed one bit have you Lorelei? Also, why must you hide your beauty? Take off your helmet." The Man said with a small smile on his face as the knight now named Lorelei stood silently in the room for a moment.

"I am here to give my report, not to flirt with you." She said in a sharp tone as her voice actually changed from gender-neutral to a mature woman's voice from her helmet. Hearing her words caused the man to only smile a bit more, both sides where the woman sat were ready to explode at any moment as the tensions in the room grew immensely. Yet none spoke as the Monarch gave a soft chuckle and reached out the arm he wasn't resting his chin on and made a 'come here' motion.

In a split second, a gust of wind seemed to come from nowhere as Lorelei's helmet was magically lifted off her head. Lorelei was just as fast as she reached up to grab her helmet yet the gust of wind lightly pushed her hand away as if her Tier 7 strength did not even exist. With that, the sleek and beautiful helmet sailed through the air and silently glided into the monarch's hand with ease. The man himself happily smiled at the helmet that rested in his hand before slowly moving it and gazing at the true face of Lorelei.

Long violet-purple hair lightly blew in the small gust of wind yet behind those loose strands of hair was a fierce glare, her baby blue eyes seeming to warp space itself as they locked onto the monarch. Though her face was twisted with pure anger and she was even gritting her teeth together she was still breathtakingly beautiful. The best way to describe it would be noble and adventurous, she was so beautiful in fact, some of the lower-tiered women present couldn't look her way without blushing.

"GIVE MY HELMET BACK VICTOR!" Lorelei roared at the Monarch as the whole room shook from the strength of her voice, Victor simply stared at her before resting the helmet on his leg and fiddling with it. Lorelei looked ready to fight him at this very moment as her aura began to slowly release itself. Victor simply put on a thoughtful face with a small smile as if her display of anger was something akin to an angry kitten growling at him.

"Tell me your report and then you may have your helmet back, until then allow me to gaze upon you. Is that so much to ask for?" He asked in a kind voice as Lorelei's fists shook a bit in anger and her teeth gritted against one another a bit harder. Yet she ever so slowly seemed to calm down yet her eyes never once lost their fierceness as she glared at Victor.

"Fine, where do you want me to begin?" She spat out as Victor smiled a bit more as a sense of anticipation came from him.

"Start with our child, are they actually worthy of my attention? Though I am sure they must be spectacular since they carry both our blood." Victor said with a look of interest as Lorelei seemed to glare even more as her aura fluctuated violently for a second.

"His given name is Percival Jacob Jackson and if you ask me you are the one not worthy of his attention."

LINEBREAK:

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Asked a Skeptical Becca as Percy shot her a glance, the two of them sat before a table as Gretta skillfully used some laid-out ingredients that Percy had told them to gather.

"Absolutely, believe in me here. Besides we have the master chef herself helping us out. Otherwise, I would be the one to be doing it." Percy said with complete confidence while showing her his bandaged hands, Becca simply glanced at them before giving him a doubtful look.

"Still what exactly is ice cream?" Becca questioned as Percy simply grinned a bit as Gretta finished mixing the oversized blackberries into the mixture.

"It is something magical... more so than actual magic," Percy quickly added on the last part as he earned questioning gazes from both women in the room.

"So what now Mr. Leader?" Gretta asked as Percy motioned for Becca to grab the contraption that Percy had the blacksmiths make for him. Though it was a bit rudimentary they managed to get the important details down perfectly, with their new skills from the system it seemed it could even be applied while making an ice cream mixer.

"Just pour in the goods, cover it up with the lid, lock it tight, pour in the ice, and start turning the handle for a while," Percy said as they quickly followed his steps, Becca took action first and started moving the handle in a circular motion.

"I hope this is worth it, that was the last of the cream," Gretta said with a reluctant sigh as Percy looked at the towering woman, part of him couldn't help but compare her to a giant or a cyclops back on her but more human.

"It will be I promise, plus it will be a nice surprise for Yuel. It is for her birthday after all, though the world has gone to shit it is the small things that can tighten our bonds." Percy said in a light and caring tone as Becca seemed to crank the handle a bit faster.

"So how long do I have to do this for?" Becca asked as Percy seemed to think a bit, even going so far as to use his fully wrapped hands to rub his chin a little.

"I would say... an hour or two." He said with a shrug as Becca's eyes went wide.

"I don't have time to sit here and do this, I am supposed to go on patrol here soon with the others." She said with a Percy just waved a little at her.

"Don't worry about it, this is more important than some patrol. I will get someone to exchange shifts with you, just don't stop stirring or else it will be ruined." Percy said in a relaxed tone before throwing a serious tone on right at the end, Becca's face instantly showed a bit of panic as she stared down at the machine in front of her.

"Well good luck, I am off to let them know about the shift change and go get some more healing spells thrown my way," Percy said before giving both women a smile and then simply walked off with a flap of a tent entrance. This left Becca and Gretta alone as Becca continued to crank the machine while she looked up at Gretta.

"D-Do you really think it will be ruined if I stop even once?" She asked in a worried tone as Gretta looked down at her, shrugged her shoulders, and shook her head before walking off herself.

"W-Wait!" Becca cried out but Gretta pretended to not hear her as the flap of the tent was opened once again leaving behind a sorrowful Becca. She couldn't help but mumble several dozen choice words about the two then even pretend to have a few arguments with herself as if she was speaking right to Gretta and Percy.

Outside the tent, Percy casually walked through the encampment as people as they hurried about with their tasks. After 2 weeks of being on the road, the group managed to travel half the distance to Bross, during this time the whole group had changed. They had all faced an endless trial by fire in this new apocalypse, one mistake would cost them their lives and they would become a grave on the side of the road.

Unfortunately for their original group, their numbers had been reduced to 150 from their original 200 members. This paled in comparison to their original 2 to 3 thousand members right before their apocalypse. Though their numbers did dwindle as the days passed some days they managed to actually find survivors in destroyed villages or areas they passed through. Some were willing to come with them on their path to Bross, others wished to stay and fend for themselves, while others tried to attack the group and steal their resources.

Each attempt was met with crushing defeat for their enemies, all the warriors in the group had reached at least level 20 while the normal people had reached level 17 at the lowest. This didn't even account for the training Percy forced his group to go through each day. Nobody was exempt from weapon or mana training regardless of age, Percy himself even led the classes on how to use mana properly since his arms were still not fully healed.

He poured all of the knowledge that he had on mana control, swordsmanship, and even tactics that would work with certain skills. His skills from his past life were officially put to use yet again in full force, to say the least, Percy's group had a huge advantage over any stragglers or even organized militias from towns. Better yet they even managed to turn the tables and steal all the attacking forces' resources.

This all led to the current situation where their original group held 150 people while the people who joined added up to about 100 people. To avoid discord or any sneak attacks Percy separated them into two different groups at night while during the day the two groups interacted with each. Anything else with the two groups he left to Trista and Jake since he trusted the two to make the right decisions.

As Percy walked through the main camp he was constantly approached by people who asked various questions. Like a CEO followed by his attendants, Percy was constantly answering questions while making his way toward his family's tent.

"Hilton go tell the guards that Becca will need to switch her shift with a later one, she is currently preoccupied with something that I assigned her." Percy rattled off an order with ease as a younger fellow by his side nodded quickly and then ran off to fulfill his order.

"Why is it that whenever you come here you bring a crowd?" A woman's voice complained as Percy froze along with everyone beside him right outside his family tent. By the entrance of the tent was Fall and a golden-plated treasure-seeking pangolin that was already tall enough to come up to her waist. The small beast snacked on what appeared to be a lump of meat, its small mouth diligently chewing away.

"I can't help it." Percy simply coughed and waved his arm a little as everyone quickly began to disperse leaving him alone with Fall. He couldn't help but give her a small smile as Fall couldn't help but laugh a bit herself seeing everyone disperse. A bit later Percy was sitting inside the tent's main chamber as the triplets were checking out his hands.

"Hmm, all of your skin has finally grown back and your bones seem to be regenerating properly as well. I am still worried about your muscles though, I know we made sure they were properly attached to the bone but it is still worrisome." Summer said as she scanned his arm and gently moved his fingers, testing to make sure his recovery was coming along properly.

"The muscles should be fine, it is the cracks in the bones I am more worried about. Even with the healing spells dumped onto him every day, those cracks won't just that easily." Winter said from her spot in front of the three treasure-seeking pangolins as she fed them small cookies.

"What Winter says is correct, the bones will need more time to heal. It will be at least another week will be needed for them to fully heal." Percy said as he slowly flexed and relaxed his tender hands, his new muscles and skin felt uncomfortable at the moment and his bones ached.

"Still, you need to be careful. For now, we are going to wrap your hands in some bandages that we managed to get that have some magical properties to help recovery." Fall said as she pulled out some bandages that had some magical green markings on them and quickly began to wrap them around Percy's hands.

'Hmm? An uncommon rarity bandage at this stage? They are really pulling out all the stops to get you back to 100%.' A soft voice said from above Percy as Gaia quietly floated above him, like a guardian angel Gaia had been by his side nearly every moment since he had been injured. Though she did turn herself invisible even to Percy, most of the time she still stayed close.

'Is that so? I will have to repay them for sure, using such an item when my injuries are so close to healed, is a bit of waste.' Percy relayed to Gaia as the world spirit simply floated around peacefully while her eyes stayed locked onto him.

'You are probably right but your strength is needed more now than ever. Even Trista and Jake are only at level 22 right now.' Gaia said in a soft tone as Percy's thoughts seemed to deepen for a bit as his hands were quickly wrapped up. Finally, Percy was ready to go as the triplets gave him a once over and nodded in confirmation.

"Alright you are good to go for now, also remember to come back during dinner time Winter managed to cook up a new batch of medicine with some mana herbs we found. The monster and plant encyclopedia says that the herb is good for blood flow and bone growth." Summer said with sparkling eyes as Percy felt a bit of chill in his spine.

"What about side effects?" He couldn't help but ask as Winter's eyes instantly turned away from him as the other two chuckled nervously clearly dodging the question. With a few words of encouragement and love the three quickly took the three golden pagolins and rushed out the door.

'I bet the side effects are worse this time.' Gaia whispered in a mischievous voice as Percy couldn't help but sigh and then worry even more. The last time they had him try a new recipe everything he ate tasted like sour apples for 3 days. He wasn't ready to go through that again.

"I just hope that they don't last very long," Percy said with a sigh before getting up and then walking to his room and flopping down on the bed. He was technically on a break since it was his treatment time and the triplets had finished up super early. He had plenty of time to sneak in a nap and let his mind take a rest.

'Come on at least get under the covers if you are napping, the days are getting colder.' A voice whispered in his mind as Percy turned his head a little to peak at the slightly worried Gaia. Her eyes seemed to sparkle a little as he slowly rolled to his side and patted the bed in an inviting manner.

"You are absolutely right, but I don't think the covers are enough in this weather. If you could just slide right in here that would be perfect, don't you know another person's body warmth is the best in this situation? Plus I'm a great snuggler." Percy said in a tone of mischief and the best seductive voice he could muster at the moment. Gaia actually froze for a moment hearing his words as her face grew frustrated only to calm down an instant later and then reveal a smirk of her own.

"Alright." She said with a shrug and before Percy could even speak Gaia was already under the covers of the bed and snuggling into the bed. Then the scent of flowers invaded his nose it stunned him a second longer as Gaia pulled the covers up higher. Only the top half of her head could be seen another with a pair of dainty hands. The rest of her curvaceous body was partly hidden beneath the sheets yet the sight only made Percy's mind short-circuit a bit more. He finally regained some clarity after a bit as he noticed her ears bouncing in a way that said she was up to no good.

In the most devilishly cute tone, Gaia whined, "Come on already, it's cold outside Percival." Percy felt something inside him tremble for a moment at her adorable tone, yet he found himself staring down at her like she was the most deadly object in existence. Any amount of Physical connection with this dangerous world spirit would render his mind mush. He wasn't ready to become disabled just to cop a feel, though it was very tempting.

"I think I may have misspoken..." Percy started with an apologetic tone waning to correct the situation. But as he Gaia's bouncing ears came to a stop before slowly sinking downwards in a very sad motion. That sight alone was enough to make Percy almost regret his words, he could only steel his nerves as he looked down at the stunning Gaia. The two had long been in this battle of nerves with one another and his losing streak was far too long, he was not about to take another loss.

"Fine, if you want to be snuggled that much I won't push you away, but I'm staying on top of the sheets." He said as a tiny blush covered his cheeks as Gaia's eyes went wide in shock. She had only wanted to get a rise out of him not actually any action! Did this idiot forget that if he touched her he would be in trouble?

"W-Wait." Gaia managed to say but before her frazzled mind could function Percy shuffled and one of his arms went underneath his pillow while the other reached over her trapping her beneath the covers. Her whole body froze in place as Percy's arm seemed to pull her a bit closer and a soft breath began to tickle the top of her head that was exposed.

"P- Percy stop this immediately," Gaia whispered to him as fiercely as she could as her jade eyes appeared like storms of green. Yet her gaze only met the surprisingly relaxed face of Percy who was only inches from her. His eyes slowly opened and revealed a pair of calm sea-green irises that seemed to carry not an ounce of worry in them. Gaia's heart unknowingly skipped a beat at the sight and a blush quickly found its way to her cheeks.

'D- Don't look at me like that.' Her words reverberated in her mind, she could only feel her frustration grow as she realized how easily he had gotten a rise out of her in that moment. Especially one so... embarrassing.

"As long as I don't touch you it's fine right? Just let me get in a short nap and I'll set you free." Percy said in a drowsy tone before a large yawn escaped his lips and closed his eyes.

"That isn't the point!" She argued back as her blush made its way further up her face, but to her annoyance and surprise, Percy was already asleep as his soft breaths tickled her forehead. Sure he was quick at falling asleep but this was ridiculously fast, she wanted to throw him off her yet she somehow couldn't find the will to do so after staring at this peacefully sleeping face.

'This... boy!' She screamed in her mind as her body trembled in anger for a few moments only to have his arm tighten around her stomach a little and pull her closer. Her body was even turned so that her back met his chest, the blankets being the only separation between the two, while his breath tickled her neck a small shiver raced down her back. In this moment Gaia's face had turned a new shade of red as she simply lay there in silence, her mind officially seeming to shut off.

Soft breaths soon ruled the room as Gaia and Percy shared the bed, Percy quietly slept away as he cuddled Gaia. The world spirit on the other hand only revealed a blushing forehead that was exposed from the sheets. Yet soft green mana soon escaped from Gaia and slowly covered her body as a paper thing barrier was erected around her to keep Percy from touching her. Even while her mind was short of any thoughts she still had enough instinct to keep Percy safe.

LINEBREAK:

"You know you could have just woken me up, you didn't need to stay there the whole time," Percy mumbled while quietly messing with his bandaged arms as Gaia floated in front of him. Her arms at her side were balled into fists of anger and her face was full of embarrassment and rage as she glared down at him.

"T- That is the point! You could have ended yourself with one slip of a hand! One brush up against my skin and your body would explode in ecstasy! You would be lucky if your soul would be able to recover from such a thing!" Gaia roared at him as her voice filled the woods around the two, thankfully nobody else was present to hear her scream at him or her gig would be up.

Percy simply stared at Gaia and shrugged a little as the world spirit shook in anger at his action. "If you ask me it isn't the worst way to go, also I have a sneaking suspicion that I would probably be fine if my soul is involved." He said with a bit of confidence as Gaia looked ready to explode and attack him herself, yet all she could do was take several deep breaths to try and calm herself down.

"Besides, can't you simply teleport away or just move really fast? If you ask me you could have easily escaped my arm without me even noticing in my slumber. Yet you remained there the whole time I slept... almost like you were enjoying the snuggles. Which is totally fine, I will admit I had an amazing sleep myself snuggling you. But I am pretty sure that when I woke up you were napping as wel-."

"YOU... J- Just shut up!" Gaia yelled at him again as her face was burning hot in embarrassment, why did he have to even have to mention that he enjoyed snuggling against her? Yet while her mind was a storm of emotions and embarrassing thoughts all Percy did was give her a knowing look that made her emotions finally boil over.

She gritted her teeth in pure frustration as she shot into the sky at a startling speed and went past even the clouds. Percy just blinked in surprise as he looked up at the sky and it seemed to quake a little, clearly, Gaia was doing something to relieve her frustrations without destroying the planet or Percy. After a little bit, Gaia ever so slowly began to float back down and finally sat on a stump not too far away with her back to Percy.

"Better?" Percy couldn't help but ask as Gaia looked over her shoulder and glared at him she then quickly looked away causing her hair to flip a little.

Seeing that she was ignoring him he simply decided to close his eyes for the moment as he decided to let his mind do the work. He opened his mind and let his thoughts run free, multiple thoughts of apology and comfort came from his mind and quietly bounced his mind. As he did this Gaia's shoulders seemed to jump a tiny bit before slowly relaxing, clearly the world spirit was peaking in on his thoughts and enjoying them a little.

"Enough of your chatter, I will no longer talk about it. If you want to get yourself killed by touching my skin I don't care anymore." Gaia said in a quiet sour tone yet somehow through all of this a blush seemed to remain on her face as she turned around. Seeing that she had finally calmed down Percy decided to let his thoughts calm down, though he still noticed Gaia dodged the last part he pointed out.

"I'll be careful about it I promise Gaia." Percy apologized a little as Gaia simply glanced, her jade eyes spinning in thought before looking away. Seeing that he was being partly ignored he simply continued with the main reason he brought her out here.

"I want to start the Asura quest," Percy said as Gaia looked at him and gave him a dumbfounded look. Almost like she misheard what he just said.

"What do you mean to start the quest? Your body is still injured and not even close to 100% yet." She easily pointed as if he didn't realize it himself, Percy however simply nodded in agreement before pulling up the quest and sharing the screen with her as her confused eyes glanced at the screen.

Quest: Retribution of the Asura Race

Overview: The Asura race has broken the rules of the Akashic system by cutting off their connection with the system and escaping record absorption when they die. They then return to their soul realm to recover and continue to spread like a plague through their Skill Asura's Rage. The system wishes for you to travel to the Asura Race's Soul realm and kill as many of them as you can eliminating part of the infestation. The System will open a portal only once for you to reach the soul realm, use this chance wisely.

Special remarks: This quest can be shared with 2 other people below Tier 4. After accepting the quest the portal will not open until the user wishes for it to.

"I am well aware that my injuries are still present and will take another week or so to heal. But while reading the quest I noticed something special about it." Percy said with a bit of a grin as Gaia narrowed her eyes and reread the quest information. Ever so slowly her eyes began to widen before narrowing as if to reconfirm what she had just read.

"I can't believe I never noticed it before, you are insane," Gaia whispered to herself as her eyes continually scanned through the quest.

"Only partly," Percy admitted with a self-deprecating chuckle as Gaia found herself staring at him through the screen as he seemed unphased by his own comment. Pursing her lips a little Gaia pushed the thoughts aside as she gave a soft nod.

"Fine, I don't see why not. Your body may be injured but your soul is not. However! This does not mean you can run wild and get your soul injured! Such injuries are several hundred times harder to heal than any flesh wound!" Gaia explained to Percy in a fierce tone while pointing at him, he couldn't help but laugh a bit at her actions.

"I am well aware of such things, I have even had a few before. Hurts like a real mother fucker and takes forever to heal." Percy said as a shiver ran through his body causing Gaia to blink in surprise, pursing her lips a little she kept quiet and didn't question him about it for now.

"As long as you understand, so who are you picking to tag along with you?" She asked him as Percy put on a thinking face and shook his head.

"I honestly don't know, nobody I know besides you has a soul as strong as I do. Even if they did they probably won't be able to handle such a battle. I would love to invite you but you are already Tier 4 and can't be added so I am stuck for now unless I go alone." Percy said with a grumble as Gaia seemed to share a bit of his concern as the two sat in silence for a while.

Finally, Percy let out a large sigh and gazed at the quest notification. "If only people from my past life were here, this would be so much easier." He said as his eyes seemed to lightly trace over the information for the quest before stopping at the bottom.

"Wait a second... Akashic I wish to share the question with Annabeth or Piper." Percy said while straightening his back as Gaia looked up at Percy a little confused.

[Further details about (Annabeth) or (Piper) are needed to properly share the quest with the correct person]

"..." Percy instantly stood up with a mouth agape and eyes wide open as his whole body trembled, Gaia herself was shocked into silence as she read the notification.

"A- Annabeth Chase Jackson daughter of Athena! Piper Mclean Jackson daughter of Aphrodite! Both were wives to Perseus Jackson war master of Olympus and each other! Annabeth designed the blueprints for Fort Delca that held strong against countless waves of monsters during the Pantheon War. She even recreated Icarius's wings and made them viable for aerial battle in the siege of Tokyo. She left every inventor 100 years in the dust, even Athena had to bow her head in defeat."

"Piper was a fierce warrior who killed the goddess Yang Ashe! She is the queen of blood and beauty who held her ground alone against a 100-person elite demigod suicide squad that tried to take the Empire State Building. She was able to develop her powers so much that they even surpassed their origin, her voice could control the souls of hundreds of people. Her songs could even bring the most morally destroyed armies back from the brink, giving them the courage to fight to their dying breath!" Percy yelled with such a crazy fever that Gaia was blown away, she had never seen this side of him before and it made her feel... odd.

"W- What? No... that isn't possible, they can't be gone." Percy said as his whole body seemed to tremble and the color drained from his face.

His body nearly collapsed as his strength seemed to leave him. He barely managed to stay standing while Gaia took a few steps towards him and even reached out to catch him. She managed to stop herself just in time as her arms shook a little and slowly pulled back. She suddenly felt helpless as she watched Percy stare at the message in front of him on the brink of collapse. His eyes filled with countless thoughts before something seemed to click into place.

"R-Reincarnation! They must have been reincarnated like I was! All the information I provided is from a previous life on the planet Earth! The very one Chaos created" Percy managed to get out in a desperate manner, before the two could do anything a new message box popped up. again.

"Don't you fucking dare Aksashic! Your quest said I can share it with anyone! I choose to share it with them! Don't you dare go back on your own fucking words!" Percy yelled at the screen in front of him in pure rage as his mana erupted from him like a burst dam, red tints of mana then started to spread through it like an inescapable poison as Asura's rage unconsciously activated.

"Percy you can't..." Gaia tried to stop him yet as froze in place as she saw the madness inside his eyes. It was at that moment she felt the mental link she had between the two of them fill with a torrent of emotions and images that made her stomach churn. It took a second for her to steady her mind and stomach as her eyes trembled, the mind pollution coming from Percy was on the level Gaia had felt in one other place.

'T-Tartarus, what exactly did you do to this boy?' Gaia couldn't help but think as she swallowed down some bile that threatened to climb her throat. Just as Percy's anger began to grow a screen suddenly appeared in front of the both of them. With the appearance of that screen, the area seemed to come to a still, even the intense emotions Percy was giving off seemed to pause for a moment.

Percy simply remained quiet as he read the new notification in front of him, as he did his mana stopped gushing him leaving him standing in the middle of the quiet forest. His emotions also seemed to reign themselves in as Gaia was freed from the mental pollution he was giving off. She couldn't help but release an inward sigh before noticing that Percy was still quiet even after a long time, his eyes didn't have an ounce of focus in them as they appeared like a gray sea.

"Percy?" Gaia asked him as Percy continued to stare at the screen in front of him. As she tried to scan his mind it seemed nearly closed off, but she was able to tell that he was trying to make a decision but he was stuck. His mind was torn between the two of them and it looked like his mind was sinking into itself. Gaia couldn't help but purse her lips together as a small sense of bitterness found itself in her heart, still, she decided to speak.

"Whoever you pick, I am sure it will be okay Percy. Not only will their help be immeasurable on the quest, but your mission is to find them and meet with them, isn't it? Use this opportunity to take a step forward that you need to take." She said as her jade eyes seemed to swirl a little and Percy slowly seemed to come out of his thoughts.

"You are right as always Gaia." He whispered as his eyes slowly regained their clarity as their color did the same. After a few moments, Percy suddenly let out a chuckle that turned into a laugh that filled the silent woods around the two. After a bit, he was able to calm down before looking at the screen again with a small smile on his face.

"It seems your mind is made up, I hope this also helps you get that invisible stick out of your butt," Gaia said with a small joke at the end that made Percy's face soften a tiny amount.

"How is it that you can talk me out of such a furry to a joyful mood in such few sentences?" He couldn't help but ask as Gaia just glanced at him for a moment before turning her back to him.

"I didn't do anything, it was the system complying with your wishes that calmed you down. Now hurry up and go, don't keep them waiting." She said as one of her hands lightly gripped her dress before speaking again. "Make sure to come back to me safely."

"Regardless thank you, Gaia. I am grateful for your assistance even if I don't like to admit it all the time. Also... I'll try my hardest." He said with a hint of playfulness before whispering just like Gaia had. The two then spent the next minute standing in silence as Percy stared at the screen in front of him. With a small deep breath and a nod, Percy made his selection. With that, a silver portal slowly began to emerge from the space in front of him. The portal eventually grew to the size of a full-grown person and then a series of notifications appeared.

[Your body will be stored in a safe subspace until the quest is completed.]

[You have 48 hours upon entry of the soul realm to kill as many Asura as possible. Once the time is out you will be automatically transported back to your body and returned to the world.]

[Please note that the time difference between the two realms is 1 to 10. Please plan accordinly]

[Also note the other person will receive a detailed explanation of the quest but it is up to them to accept it in 10 minutes. If they don't you may make another selection until someone accepts the quest.]

[Please walk into the portal to start the quest]

A lot of information appeared before their eyes as Gaia and Percy scanned through it, Percy simply nodded as he walked towards the portal. But just as he was about to go through it he stopped as he turned to Gaia as the world spirit stared back at him.

"Be back in a jiffy," He said with a small but happy smile before stepping through the portal. In a moment the portal closed and Gaia was left standing all alone in the forest. At the same time a sense of loss or perhaps... something else spread through her mind as she pursed her lips together. Shaking her head she threw away the emotions she was feeling before slowly flying upwards.

"You better be or I'll come in there after you.... You idiot."

LINEBREAK:

"AAAHHHH!" A figure screamed out in extreme pain as a blade wrapped in ivory mana plunged into its heart and then tore out the side. A huge burst of blood erupted like a fountain as it coated the ground and the figure swung the blade.

"General! The enemy is sending its element skill users!" A soldier in fancy metal armor screamed as the woman waved her blade causing a huge crescent-shaped white moon to flash across the battlefield. Warriors running her way couldn't run away quickly enough as their torsos were separated from their legs. Horrendous screams of pain and agony filled the air as their blood and cuts created a red carpet of death itself for hundreds of feet.

"Send necessary skill users to suppress them and bombard their backlines with skills that cause huge damage. I don't want them to even have the chance to retreat." She said as her scarlet eyes scanned the battlefield, two sides of warriors were clashing with one another. Behind the woman's army was a large castle built with red and black bricks, from the tops of its walls rained flaming boulders.

It stood like an impenetrable fortress in the middle of a storm as its forces continued to fight against the waves of enemies being thrown at its walls. As everyone continued to slaughter one another the woman leading the forces of the castle stood before her forces like a meat grinder. Every swing of her sword created a path of blood and corpses that her boots walked over with ease, even though half her body was drenched in blood she did not seem to mind as she continued on her massacre.

No matter the skill thrown at her they were all met with a huge crescent-shaped ivory mana blade that cut through them all like they were nothing. Soon the battle began to shift in her force's favor as the enemies began to retreat, even as they did they were met with constant bombardment of flaming boulders and magic skills. Yells of victory and terror filled the air and overlapped one another until finally, the screams grew quiet.

"General the enemy has fully retreated, this battle is ours." Once again a man in fancy silver and black armor approached the woman as she stood silently on the battlefield. Her gaze seemed to follow the enemy yet part of it seemed like she was lost in thought as her scarlet eyes refocused themselves.

"Gather all the able-bodied men and attend to the injured, after that I want you to have them strip all the corpses of their equipment. After that... feed the dead to the hounds, even in death I will make sure these devils serve me properly." She said in an emotionless tone as the silver and black armored knight remained silent until a hearty laugh escaped his helmet until he reached up and took it off.

As she did he revealed a red-skinned demon with a small pair of horns sticking out the top of his forehead. His eyes were like poisonous mud and his grinning mouth was full of sharp teeth, even his demeanor was seemingly slightly sinister and crude as if he would not blink to insult or attack a person for fun. He was a red demon in the truest sense and acted like one as well, yet before this woman, he actually expressed diligence and loyalty.

"Amazing idea princess! You never cease to amaze me!" The man bellowed happily as the grin spread on his face the woman turned his way as her long violet-purple hair fluttered in the wind.

Unlike the red-skinned demon, she possessed flawlessly pale skin without a blemish in the site. Her eyes were also not muddy like other demons but pure scarlet, like a clean burning inferno ready to set the world aflame. With 3-inch long pointy ears adorning her head she looked nearly human with a demonic and wild beauty, yet a pair of foot-long horns existed above each of her temples only adding to her image. Her horns were even considered one of the most beautiful of the types by demons' standards, backward-facing and close to the skull and only a few inches away from her skull.

"Don't call me a princess on the battlefield! Now go and do your job before I feed you to the dogs as well!" She yelled at the knight with such fierceness in her voice it made the demon smile even more.

"As you wish general!" He said happily before standing up and began on his way.

"Wait!" Her voice suddenly filled the air again as the soldier stopped before turning back to the woman as she seemed to be reading a message from the system in front of her. Her normally fierce gaze was actually gone and instead replaced with a look of surprise. Seeing this the soldier felt a seriousness to the situation and quickly kneeled before her.

"Yes general?" He asked as the woman continued to scan the information before her surprised look turned into an extremely rare smile.

"I am going on an emergency quest, I will preoccupied for a bit. Send a command to keep the fortress in a battle-ready state until I return. If rouge demons come you know the rules. Until I return you will be in charge, just know if I return and anything is wrong it will be your head I skewer on the gates spikes." She said before turning to the demon with a fierce look in her eyes that completely replaced the surprise that was there previously.

"Yes!" The demon yelled as he lowered his head in a bow. As he did the woman turned away her face revealing a small smile just before a portal began to grow in front of her. Without a hint of concern, she then walked towards the portal leaving behind bloody footprints on the ground.

"Ara Ara how interesting, a surprise quest to kill the Asura race. Who would have guessed such a race lived in a soul realm, regardless if it is the soul realm this is going to be a cakewalk of a quest. It's been a while since I have been able to stretch my legs. Still to use my old name... this is getting more interesting by the second." She said to herself as a wild smile spread across her face.
