Percy

I knelt speechless. Nico fell asleep again,looking so peaceful he looked almost dead causing me to check he was breathing every five seconds.

"Percy!"

I turned around to see Thalia running up with Chiron galloping beside her.

They looked at the gold sprinkled grass and Nico covered in blood and asking no questions gently picked him up and examined him.

"What happened?"
Almost no questions.

"Weeellllll"I began but Thalia stopped me.

"Is that Will solace?"

"Yes. Yes it is"

"Is-I-I....is he...-?"

"He's breathing" I told her "but I don't know for how much longer"

"You two carry nico. He does not seem too bad. I will carry Will" Chiron commanded lifting will on his back. "We need to hurry"

We took the quickest route,through the cabins,earning us plenty of stares and points. Travis was peaking out of his cabin as we passed. As soon as he saw will and nico he paled and looked kind of guilty and ashamed. He slammed his door quickly not saying anything.

When we got to the infirmary it was packed,full of people injured from the battle,their friends and doctors trying to help everyone.

Most of them stopped and bowed as we entered and cleared a path for us through.

"Hello Chiron" some son of Apollo said coming up to us. "We  have no more space for anyo-" his voice faltered. "Is that Wi-wi..-Will?"

"Yes Charlie now can you get Cecil,Lou Ellen,Leila and - if he's feeling better - Terry to meet us in the big house lounge"

Charlie swallowed and nodded. We passed into the big house and through a couple of doors to a room I had never seen before. It was quite empty and had only two worn sofas but the walls were covered with paintings and pictures. It reminded me of Hogwarts except the paintings didn't talk.

Chiron gently laid Will on one of the sofas and gave him some nectar. He didn't move.

Thalia helped me lay nico down on another. He stirred slightly and murmered something i couldn't hear.

Chiron examined the cut in Nico's side. "I don't know if we can heal this but-"

"WILL?!" Chiron was interrupted by four teenagers, two of them pushing through to see their best friend who they thought was dead and missing.

"What happened? Where did you find him? Is he alive? Is he okay?" Lou Ellen asked Chiron. "Nico is going to be sooo happy! Wait! Where's Nico?"

Chiron motioned to the sofa where Nico lay motionless.

"We found him unconscious in the forest."

"How?! Why?!"

"Percy? Do you know?"

I took a deep breath "Nico was lying in the woods beside an unconscious Kampê and then I saw a wrist sticking out of the old entrance to the labyrinth and I found out it was Will"

"How is he alive?! What happened?!"

"I DON'T KNOW!"

"Silent children. Yelling will not help us" Chiron said calmly.

"Well what are we going to do then Chiron!?" Lou Ellen asked desperately "The infirmary is full and we can't just leave them here. They can't die!"

"Yeah!" Cecil agreed "They haven't kissed yet!"

"Cecil!" Lou Ellen snapped "Not helping"

"Sorry jeez I just wanted to brighten the situation calm down"

"I AM CALM"

Cecil opened his mouth to speak but chiron silenced him with a look. "Terry,leila what happened to will on you quest?"

"We found the maze but it was a mess." Leila explained. "Half of the maze was crumbled and blocked off. Everywhere was dusty and old and no matter where we walked pitch black. We were attacked by some myrmex. Terry was wearing full gold armor and they charged fight for him. But we were in a really weak area of thd maze and the ant stampeding caused the cave to collapse. It caused terry to seperate from will and I. It crushed some myrmekes and wills leg. We agreed to meet up with terry later. After a while we exited the maze into some strange mansion like house. Thats when cupid attacked. It wasn't so much attacking and more talking."

"But very dangerous talking" terry said "like the weather or 101 peoms by Apollo"

"You werent even there terry. Anyway will got angry and they argued and fought and then cupid got super angry and grabbed will and tossed him into this weird pit of darkness. And cupid kinda dived in after him and dissolved amd i just ran back intk the maze. And yeah thats whag happened."leila finished.

Chiron didnt respond for a moment before saying. "Take will and nico to the infirmary find them a doctor and somewhere to sleep. Yes i know theres no room but there will be a way. Thalia,percy you stay here." Cecil and lou ellen opened their mouths, outraged. "You two can stay too if you wish"

The others looked annoyed but Chirons face told them not to argue. When thsy were long gone chiron turned to the teens.

"Sit down. We have a lot to discuss"
