Reyna turns as she hears her name being yelled from behind her. Hazel, one of the newer campers, was running towards her. "What's wrong?" Reyna asks when she sees how scared and panicked Hazel looks.

"So, Frank and I are on watch at the main entrance, right?"

"Yeah, so?"

"This boy just showed up and he told us that he needed help. We asked him who he was and what he needed. That's when he told us that he can't remember anything about himself or his life. All he knows is that his name is Perseus. He also remembers the name Annabeth." 

"Perseus? Like the Greek hero?"

"Maybe. Frank's with him right now, he told me to come and get you."

"Alright, where are they?"

"Frank said he was going to bring him over to the Barracks. He asked me to bring you there."

"Okay, let's go," Reyna says already walking towards the barracks. 

They are halfway there when Reyna's name is yelled again. This time it's Nico, "Reyna! What's going on? The whole camp is talking about some kid who lost his memory."

Reyna sighs, "that's what we're trying to figure out. We are going to meet him if you want to come with us." 

Nico joins his sister and Reyna on their way to the barracks. As they get closer Reyna can see Frank standing with a tall boy with black hair. As they get closer Reyna can see the boy has sea-green eyes and is tan. "You have got to be kidding me," Nico whispers as the boy turns to look at them.

Reyna looks between Nico and the boy for a few seconds, trying to figure out why Nico reacted that way. "Do you know each other?" 

Nico doesn't say anything and the boy shrugs, "I don't know anything at the moment."

"Nico?" Hazel asks.

"If you know who he is you can't keep his identity from him," Reyna warns.

"No," Nico says. "I don't know him. He just looks like someone I used to know, but he's dead."

"Okay," Reyna says. "Then, we need to figure out who he is. Octavian may be able to help." 

"Do we have to talk to him?" Frank asks.

"Unfortunately, he's our best bet. Let's go." Reyna leads everyone away. As they walk she begins to ask Perseus questions.

"I'm really sorry," Perseus says. "I have no idea who I am or anything about my life."

"Oh my Gods," someone says. Everyone turns to look at them.

"What is it, Gracie?" Reyna asks when she sees one of the newer campers standing a few feet away.

"That's Percy Jackson!" 

"Wait, you know who I am?" Perseus says, surprised.

"Of course, I know who you are. I just watched your episode of 'Criminal Children, Where are They Now', like a month ago." Gracie says, smiling widely. Then, her eyes widen, "did you not want anyone to know who you are? I'm so sorry, I won't tell anyone else."

"No!" Reyna says. "This is good. Perseus just got here and he doesn't have any memories. Come with us Gracie, you need to tell us everything that you know about him." Reyna brings everyone into a meeting room. "You said he was on 'Criminal Children'. What is that?" Reyna asks once everyone is seated.

"It's a TV show about kids who have committed crimes and it talks about who they are, what they did, and where they are now. Percy was on an episode a few months ago. When he was twelve his stepfather accused him of kidnapping his mother. He spent the next few weeks on the run. He left New York and was seen all over the country doing crazy things. Some kid jumped out of the St. Louis Arch and people think it was him. He wasn't seen again until he showed up in LA, with two other kids, I don't remember their names. They ended up flying from LA back to New York. His mother was seen around the city. He was seen around as well and might have blown up the band room at his new school a few years later. Other than that he hasn't really been seen much. That's all I remember."

"Thank you so much," Reyna says. "Percy, do you remember any of that?"

Percy shakes his head, "the only thing was when she said I was with two other kids, the name Annabeth came to me."

"So, Annabeth must be someone important to you," Hazel points out. 

Reyna nods and turns back to Gracie, "do you remember his mom's name? If we can figure out her name we can try and get in touch with her and find out what's going on."

Gracie shakes her head, "I don't remember. It started with an 'S'."

"Sammi?" Frank suggest.

"Sam?" Hazel asks.

"Samantha?" Reyna asks.

"Stella?'

"Sadie?"

"Scarlet?"

"Sage?"

"Sophia?"

"Stephanie?"

Gracie shakes her head at each name until finally, "Sally," Nico says.

"Yes! Sally!" Gracie says.

"Okay!" Hazel says. "What happens now?"

Reyna sighs, "we go to the police. We can't all go, so two of us should take Percy and tell the police that we don't have phones and ask if we can call Sally Jackson. Hazel, Nico, you two should go."

"Are you sure?" Nico asks.

"Yes, I need to be here to run camp and Frank can stay on watch. There's a police station about 10 minutes down the road if you take the back entrance. If you leave now you should be able to get there, make the call, and get back before it gets dark. Make sure you have weapons in case you need them."

Hazel, Nico, and Percy get ready as quickly are possible. Hazel can tell that Nico and Percy are both nervous. It makes sense that Percy is nervous, but she doesn't know why Nico seems so uncomfortable. She decides not to ask too many questions, luckily the walk isn't too long. 

...

"Excuse me," Percy says once they walk into the police station. "I'm visiting some friends from out of town," he waves at Nico and Hazel when he says friends, "and I lost my phone. I really need to call my mom, but I don't know her number. Is there any way you can look up her number and give me a phone to use?"

"Of course Sweetheart," The blonde lady smiles at Percy. "What's your mom's name?"

"Sally Jackson, she lives in New York."

The lady types for a few minutes before she writes a number on a piece of paper and hands it to Percy. "The phone is this way, follow me." She leads them down a hallway and into some sort of break room. She points to the phone and closes the door on her way out, telling them to "take as long as you need."

"For someone who doesn't have any memories you are really good at lying," Nico jokes.

Percy gives him a half smile as he stares at the phone number in his hand. "What if it's not her? What if she doesn't remember me either? What if something happened to her when I lost my memories?  What if something happened to her and she doesn't want me to call her anymore?"

"Percy," Hazel says. "None of those things are going to be true. You are going to be fine, just call her."

Percy starts putting in the phone number before he pushes the phone and paper into Hazel's hands, "I can't do it. You call her."

Hazel looks at him for a few seconds before she nods and finishes putting in the number. She listens as it rings. "Hello?" A man's voice asks when the phone is finally answered. "Can I help you?"

Hazel looks at Nico in fear before she answers the man. "Is Sally Jackson there?"

"I'm sorry," the man says. "Who are you?"

"My name's Hazel and I'm with Sally's son, Percy."

There's a pause on the other end before a female takes the phone, "this is Sally. You said you have Percy?"

"I don't have him, I didn't like kidnap him or anything. He's not here against his will."

"Can I talk to him?"

"One second," Hazel covers the phone. "Percy, it's your mom she wants to talk to you."

Percy slowly takes the phone, "Mom?" He listens for a few seconds, "I don't know. I woke up in a forest with no memories and there was a wolf. Then I saw two kids standing on the side of the highway and this old lady told me to carry her across the highway to the kids. Then, some other kid said she knows me from some sort of TV show." Percy pauses again to listen. "Just my name and the name Annabeth." Another pause, "what? Who is she?" There's a long pause, then, "my what? She is?" There was another long pause, then Percy turns to look at Nico and Hazle, "where am I?"

"Berkeley Hills California," Nico tells him.

Percy relays the information to his mom, then stops to listen, "how?" Pause, "okay, where should we wait for her?" He stops talking for a few more seconds, "We'll be there. Thank you so much, mom. I'll see you soon? I love you." Percy hangs up the phone and turns back to the others after a few seconds, "the girl, Annabeth, she's my girlfriend. My mom said that she and a few other people are on their way here and no matter what I'm not supposed to leave wherever we came from. I guess I do that a lot, just disappear."

Nico laughs, "alright, let's get back."

...

A few days later Reyna is standing at the front entrance when a van pulls up. A scary-looking blonde girl climbs out of the driver's seat. A shorter guy with curly brown hair gets out of the passenger seat, and three kids climb out of the back. Reyna only recognizes one of the kids, Jason. The blonde girl leads the way to Reyna and Frank. 

"Where's Percy?" The girl, Annabeth if Reyna had to guess, asks. 

"Inside. Why do you have Jason?" 

"We found him in The Grand Canyon. He didn't have any memories. We saved him and a few weeks later we get a call from Sally that Percy is in California with no memories. We put two and two together and figure it was connected somehow. I'll tell you more once you bring me to Percy."

Reyna nods, "follow me." She leads them into a building in New Rome where Percy, Hazel, and Nico are waiting. 

"Percy!" Annabeth says. She walks over to him but doesn't make a move to touch him. 

"Hi," he says. "Sorry I don't remember you."

"It's okay, we'll get it figured-" she freezes when she sees Nico standing in the corner. "Nico? What are you doing here?"

"You know Nico?" Hazel asks.

"Yeah, he's been coming to Camp Half-Blood since he was ten."

"I don't know what Camp Half-Blood is, but he's been coming to Camp Jupiter for almost a year," Reyna tells her.

"Camp Half-Blood is a safe place for Greek demigods to live."

"That's what Camp Jupiter is for Roman demigods."

"So, Greek and Roman demigods are both alive and we didn't know about each other?" The curly-haired boy from the passenger seat asks.

"Nico? You want to explain?" Annabeth asks.

Nico sighs and nods and starts to explain how he found Camp Jupiter and his dad told him he couldn't tell either camp about the other. Then, he talks about how his dad brought Hazel back. He tells them that when Percy showed up four days ago he almost told them everything, but he figured the Gods had some sort of messed up plan and he didn't want to mess it up. 

Annabeth then tells them about how they found Jason, Piper, and Leo, the other teens from the van, at the Grand Canyon, and they were brought to Camp Half-Blood where they were given a prophecy, Child of Lightning, beware the earth, The giants' revenge the seven shall birth, The forge and dove shall break the cage, And death unleash through Hera's rage. 

They all talk about what they can do to get Percy and Jason's memories back and how they are going to stop Gaia and Hera. They quickly realize that both boys have to go on a quest to help the other camp and get their memories back.
