Rachel and Annabeth are so cute together! They're very different, but I think they'd get along well in a relationship. Plus, I always love the trope where two girls who like the same dude get together! I also like the idea that Annabeth was jealous of Percy, not Rachel. It's a brilliant rivals-to-friends-to lovers ship. Sometimes the whole 'opposites attract' theory works out. That being said, they also have some striking similarities. For one, they're both very intelligent, though Annabeth shows it more. Rachel seems insightful and just generally smart, and I'm sure she's even more intelligent as the oracle. They're also both creative; Rachel with her painting, and Annabeth with her architecture skills. These hobbies mix well together and I could see them partaking in them at the beach. Their dates would be so adorable! They're also brave and loyal. And also, them and Percy would make an adorable poly ship. Even without that, though, Rachabeth is amazing. Annabeth is slightly more immature than Rachel, but I don't think this would be too much of an issue. Rachel is very understanding and empathetic, and I believe this would help them communicate better. Ahh, I just can't help it — I love them! As long they can tolerate each other's views and beliefs, they'd be a great couple. So, yes, clearly, I ship it!
