Backstory: Her mother was a nurse and worked around the clock, but they still had a great bond. On her 9th birthday a satyr showed up to take her to Camp Half-blood because her powers were starting to attract monsters. She was one of the older residents at camp and stayed year round, but still Iris messaged her mother weekly.
