Back in time

Percy and Annabeth were sitting down by the docks. Neither of them said a word as being in each other's company was enough comfort. Percy suddenly felt uneasy, like something that's not supposed to happen was going to happen. He sat up straighter.

"You feel that Wise Girl?" he asked, looking around.

"Yea.." she trailed off. Then suddenly they were enveloped in a bright light and gone a second after.

~~~~~
"What in the name of Zeus just happened?" Annabeth asked. She looked around and noticed her surroundings. "What the Hades? How did we get to Half Blood Hill. We were just on the docks..."
"I have no clue."
"Let's go see Chiron. Maybe he might know what happened," Annabeth said as she gripped Percy's hand tighter.
They began to walk up the hill and when they reached the border, they noticed something was wrong.
"Um Wise girl? I'm pretty sure there are more than twelve cabins now. And where's the Athena Parthenos?" said Percy. Annabeth stared out in shock.
"Oh my gods." She turned to face Percy. "I think we time traveled to the past, Percy."
Percy didn't want to believe her. But she was Annabeth, and his girlfriend, so he had no choice but to believe her.
"Wha-how?" he questioned.
"I have absolutely no idea," Annabeth responded. Percy wanted to make a remark about how she didn't know something but decided against it.
"Well, I mean, we've got to be here for a reason right?"
"Yea..," Annabeth trailed off. "Let's find out what time period we're in first. Without screwing up the spacetime continuum."
"Spacetime Vaccuum?"
"Continuum, Seaweed Brain. Continuum."
"Right. What does that mean again?"
"This is why you should watch Doctor Who."
"I don't wanna watch your nerdy daughter of Athena shows."
"Excuse me?"
"You're excused." Annabeth rolled her eyes.
"Let's just get to the big house before you ruin everything."
"I'm not gonna ruin anything!" Percy yelled defiantly.
"Who're you?" asked a voice from the camp border. Percy and Annabeth whipped their heads around to the voice. Once they caught sight of who it was, Percy gasped.
"Oh gods..." Annabeth mumbled.
The boy raised an eyebrow. "I take it you know you're demigods? But who are you? I should've seen you at camp at least once."
Percy began to panic. Well, the older one, not the one in front of them. He looked at Annabeth.
"We're returning campers. We haven't been here for a few years. We're here to see Chiron," Annabeth lied easily.
"Oh," said mini-Percy. "Sorry to bother you then. This gods damned war has gotten me so stressed lately. Just saying, you guys might wanna turn back around. It ain't pretty."
"Thanks," mumbled older Percy really quietly. Mini-Percy raised an eyebrow, but let Percy and Annabeth go anyway.
Annabeth gripped Percy's hand and dragged him to the big house, hidden in the shadows.
"Oh my gods. That was actually me," said Percy. "Oh my gods. Oh gods. Holy Bessie."
"Percy. Calm down," Annabeth said sternly as they hid under the shadow of a tree.
Percy ran a hand through his hair and started mumbling incoherent things. Annabeth grabbed both sides of his face and forced him to look at her.
"We'll get out of this ok? Just like we always do." Percy merely nodded. She kissed him to help him snap out of his anxiety. Percy seemed to melt into the kiss, though it didn't last as long as he would've liked. "Let's go find Chiron. Then we'll go to the gods and force them to take us back."
"Yea. Let's go. No biggie. A small slip up could ruin the entire future as we know it but that's fine." Annabeth slapped his arm.
"Let's just find a way out of this."
The two demigods creeped along the hidden areas of camp, hiding from those who could see them, or worse, recognize them. When they reached the big house door, they barged in without knocking, afraid they would get seen if they waited from someone to walk out.
However what they saw inside the big house just made everything worse. There was a war council meeting and everyone was standing. Except for Silena who was staring at the ping pong table emotionlessly. Percy and Annabeth now knew what time period they were in.
"Well shit," said Older Percy. Annabeth slapped him upside the head.
"Language!" No one laughed at their antics. Older Percy noticed Younger Percy staring at them with a confused expression.
"Who in Hades are you?" asked younger Clarisse rudely.
"They're the 'returning campers' I told you about," said younger Percy warily.
"Forget about that. We need to talk to Chiron. Now," said older Annabeth, with urgency in her voice.
"Is it important enough to interrupt a war council?" asked younger Annabeth, her calculating gaze analyzed them.
Gods this is weird, Older Percy thought.
"Yes," responded older Annabeth.
"Then if it's that important you can say it right here right now," said younger Clarisse.
"You wouldn't believe us even if we told you Clarisse," said older Percy. Annabeth slapped a hand over his mouth and Charisse unsheathed her spear.
"How do you know my name?" she growled. The war council stood on edge. Even Silena, who was mourning the loss of her lover, managed to pay attention.
"Children," said Chiron. "Calm yourselves. Let these two demigods speak. And if they must speak to me they shall do it right here."
Older Annabeth glared at older Percy. He nudged her forward. She glared at him again.
"What? If I end up talking I'd end up saying something I shouldn't."
"True," older Annabeth responded. She stepped forward and all eyes were on her. It was quite unsettling to have her younger self stare back at her.
"Gods how do I explain this without causing a riot," she mumbled. "Well, we are from the future."
"Impossible!"
"That's absolutely ridiculous!"
"Only Percy would believe that!"
"Hey that's rude!" both Percys yelled at the same time. The entire room fell silent. The Percys were staring at each other.
"Told you so," said older Annabeth. Younger Annabeth put her focus on her older self.
"So if that's future Percy, who are you?" she asked. Older Annabeth sighed.
"I thought you would've figured it out sooner. I'm you." Younger Annabeth's eyes widened. Connor, Travis, Lee, and younger Percy's jaws dropped. Older Annabeth looked like a daughter of Aphrodite.
Travis wolf whistled. Katie gardener smacked him upside the head. Older Annabeth rolled her eyes and younger Annabeth looked really uncomfortable.
"Hey fetus Travis. Back off. That's my girlfriend," said Older Percy as he put an arm around older Annabeth's waist and kissed her cheek. Younger Annabeth and Percy turned crimson.
"How many times have I told you not to reveal anything!" Older Annabeth yelled while smacking his arm.
Silena managed a weak but happy smile in sight of the couple.
"What about the war?" younger Annabeth asked once the ruckus and suggestive comments died down, her cheeks still pink.
"Which one?" Older Percy asked. Annabeth smacked him about seventeen more times again.
"Shut up!" She whisper yelled. The entire war council froze.
"There's another war?" younger Percy asked quietly.
Annabeth hit Percy upside the head. "Ow!"
"I will personally send you back to Tartarus if you keep talking," older Annabeth said menacingly. Right as she said it, she clamped a hand over her mouth
"Wait. You said back to Tartarus. Were we already there?" asked younger Percy.
"And you're telling me not to reveal anything," said older Percy. Annabeth smacked Percy on the arm again. "Ow! What is it! Smack Percy day?"
"It's always Smack Percy day."
"You didn't answer the question," interrupted younger Annabeth.
"You don't have to know," responded her future self.
"You don't want to know," added older Percy.
Chiron finally spoke up. "Does this second war happen to involve a few people on the west coast?" he asked, hinting toward the Romans, but not wanting to reveal anything to the younger demigods.
"Yes," answered Annabeth before Percy could ask if he was asking about the Romans. Chiron's eyes widened slightly, but he regained his composure before the younger demigods could notice.
"How the Hades did you two even get here?" asked young Clarisse.
"We have no idea. We were just on the docks and then suddenly we were up on Half Blood Hill, which was where we saw Percy, er, me I guess," explained Percy.
Connor wiggled his eyebrows. "Now just what were you two doing on the docks?" Younger Percy and Annabeth turned crimson again and avoided eye contact.
Older Annabeth face palmed. "We were just at the docks having a lovely conversation on how we were going to destroy the world Connor. And if you wanted to know, we actually weren't making out." The war council erupted in giggles. Clarisse snorted.
Suddenly the shadows darkened underneath the ping pong table. The younger demigods backed away, unsure of what to do. Then the shadows disappeared. There was a thunk sound followed by a muffled "ow."
Then the son of Hades himself crawled out from under the ping pong table. He looked around and looked at both Percys and both Annabeths.
"What?"
"Nikki? What are you doing here?" asked older Percy.
"I am so confused. Why in my fathers name are there two of you and Annabeth?"
"We'll explain later. How'd you get here?" asked older Annabeth.
"Um I shadow traveled from the underworld to the big house and now there are two of you and......" he trailed off as he noticed Silena and Lee.
He stared, utterly surprised.
"Don't say anything," Annabeth warned.
"I take it you're Nico from the future?" Asked younger Annabeth. His head swiveled between the two Annabeths.
"The future? Oh gods are we in the past? Is that why-" he immediately cut himself off, almost saying something that would ruin everything.
"Is that why what?" Silena asked. Older Percy hung his head and older Annabeth rubbed his back comfortingly.
"Nothing you need to worry about," said Nico as he scratched the back of his head. Older Annabeth saw a golden bracelet around Nico's wrist as he lifted his hand.
"Oh my gods! Nico give me your hand!" she practically yelled. Nico didn't have time to reply before his sleeve was pulled up to reveal a golden chain bracelet with a small golden sun and a skull hanging from it. "Oh my gods this is so cute!"
Nico blushed. Younger Percy looked on at the exchange in confusion. Is Nico dating an Apollo girl in the future?, he thought. But why would a girl give a guy a bracelet? Wasn't it the other way around?
"Why can't you get me something like this Seaweed Brain?"
"Um I'm not Will?" he responded.
"Wait what?" asked a really confused fifteen year old Percy.
"My uh, my......." Nico couldn't seemed to form a sentence.
"His boyfriend got it for him. He's a son of Apollo," replied Percy.
"Boyfriend?" practically everyone in the room questioned. Nico blushed. And backed away into the shadows.
"Aw is wittle Nikki shy?" asked Percy mockingly.
"Shut it Jackson or your abdomen can say hi to my sword." The council let out a nervous chuckle.
(Y'all are gonna hate me for putting this cliche in here)
Then out of nowhere a note fell from the ceiling in a flash of light. Everyone stared as it fluttered down into Chiron's lap. He picked it up and read it.
"Dear demigods of past and present, this is Apollo and Hermes from the future. We've decided, along with the rest of the Olympian council, to send you back in time to give you a break after all you have done for us. It wasn't easy for Zeus to admit it. Anyway, anything that the futures say or do the people from the past will not remember a thing so you are welcome to say or do anything you like. Also, a few others will be joining you. Yours truly, Apollo and Hermes. P.S. Percy Uncle P says hi."
There was a long pause.
"Yay that means I can do this," older Percy said as he grabbed older Annabeth by the waist, lowered her into a dip, and kissed her. She let out a small squeak of surprise then laughed against his lips. Annabeth's arms wrapped around Percy's neck. They kissed and for a moment it was just them, until Connor wolf whistled and Travis yelled "Yea get some Perce!"
Younger Percy's jaw was on the floor and younger Annabeth stared wide eyed and completely red. The older couple continued kissing even after a knock was heard from one of the doors in the big house.
Older Nico crept around the couple and opened the door only to find a pissed of Thalia Grace from the future.
She looked over his shoulder, glanced at the couple who were still making out, then noticed the past campers around the ping pong table.
"What the fuck."
OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS THE LONGEST THING I WILL EVER WRITE 2173 WORDS GODDAMN (NOT INCLUDING THIS)
