I ran through the forest on æßżçø chasing a guy chaos had ordered me to kill.

I should probably explain how I got here.

Flashback

After I left camp monsters started crowding me. The first few days when monsters aprouched me and saw what state of anger and depression I was in they would quickly back away.

They still followed me though and after about five days they started attacking. I had almost lost my will to fight and just wanted to die but something stopped me. The thought of seeing my friends that hadn't decided to pin cushion me. So I kept fighting.

After about two weeks of only staying in the same place for 45 minutes max. I ran into the holy octopus-lizard-thatcan'tbedecapitated-withbadbreath itself the hydra. I don't know how it got its body out of that rocky predicament but whatever.

It caught up with me in a forest clearing who knows where, well Hermes probably does but anyway. I stood my ground even though I didn't like my chances.

You're probably thinking, "come on Perce you beat it before"
But that was with the help of Grover and Ann- and they aren't here and besides me the betrayed, disowned son of Poseidon, who hasn't slept in four days against a nine headed, very bad, poisonous-breathed, monster, seeking revenge.
Now do you see?

It charged at me the one head spitting acid in my direction. I rolled, pulled out my bronze pen and uncapped it making it turn to the monster, titan and giant slayer: Riptide.

It whipped round and charged me again this time with its nine heads snapping at me. I ducked, rolled and slashed. Making sure not to decapitate it's heads. It roared in pain and anger.

Then it happened. I had a Tartarus fit. They have become even more frequent and worse since I left. Now I feel paralyzed, I sometimes pass out from lack of oxygen and they now also hold the memories of my betrayal. So not good to have one in a fight.

I was overwhelmed by extreme pain and memories of Tartarus. So naturally I crumpled to the floor, gasping for air.

At first the hydra was shocked and looked around the clearing checking if anything else had decided to hit me, but we were alone. I swear the hydra smirked in its own disgusting monstrous way. It approached me and me being paralyzed, and whimpering in pain on the ground I thought to myself somewhere in my Tartarus fit inducing brain " I'm dead"

When the hydra was shadowing above me it decided I needed a slap for getting it killed so it swatted me with its clawed foot. I screamed as it's claws cut into my stomach and chest. Then yelled out again as I hit a tree on the other side of the clearing and something inside me cracked and I fell to the ground.

The hydra lumbered triumphantly towards me, but before it could get any closer blue chains shot at it and rapped themselves around any limb, neck or head they could grab. The hydra struggled and roared but the chains suddenly yanked and the hydra was pulled into the black hole that the chains came out of. Then the black hole thing disappeared and a man appeared in front of me.

The man had black wings with galaxies floating around on them. He had black hair and was dressed all in black. He crouched down and put a hand on my shoulder. (just saying if you haven't guessed it I winced) I couldn't quite see, black dots were clouding my vision, but in his eyes, his starry eyes that looked like galaxies I could almost see worry.

Then the man said, "Perseus" and I blacked out

I woke up in a black room on a black bed. When I remembered what happened I bolted up and sudden pain shot through my chest and I groaned and fell back down. The man I saw before I blacked out was standing at the edge of the black bed facing the other wall. He whipped round as he heard my groan.

"Woah. Perseus stay down, you were out for four days and badly injured" he said

"Its Percy" I growled then said, "Who're you?"

"Ok Percy, I am chaos creator of the universe"

I groaned, just great, another powerful being to deal with. "What do you want?" I said staring at the black ceiling.

Chaos looked shocked but replied, " I want you to become the commander of my stellar team and my personal assassin"

It was my turn to look shocked. "So let me get this straight, chaos the creator of the universe wants me to become his stellar team commander and personal assassin just like that?"

"Pretty much"

"Ok, as long as I don't have to stay on earth"

Chaos looked a bit bewildered for a second. I think it was my quick reply, but he then smiled knowingly, "We already left"

So there you have it I joined I became his assassin and the commander of his stellar team but I'll tell you more in the next chapter. So back to me chasing that guy on æßżçø (that's a planet by the way)

I was getting bored of chasing him so I willed my wings out. Pitch black wings spouted from my shoulder blades and I leaped into the air. I soon caught up with him and when I did I dropped on top of him forcing him to the ground.

I pulled out one of my knives and held it to the man's throat. He whimpered underneath me. I pressed a button on the collar of me black leather assassin suit. It was like the voice modifiers in arrow (don't judge me, the team and chaos watch it on movie night) but a lot more affective and it has other functions (like what I was using it for: translation for speaking to non earthly languaged beings) ( yes I can now talk to dogs or cats or tigers) as well as being made by chaos himself and said, "Chaos wants you dead, do you know why?"

No answer. Most of them do that. So I slit his throat and flew off.
