Percy POV.
It was a beautiful Saturday. The last Saturday of the school year. I had graduated from Goode High yesterday. I was ecstatic.𝙄 𝙁𝙍𝙄𝙆𝙄𝙉 𝙂𝙍𝘼𝘿𝙐𝘼𝙏𝙀𝘿.It felt good. I made it. I'm an 18 year old demigod. Wow. Im still alive. Annabeth's still alive. Grover is still alive. The seven is still alive, minus Leo. Nico is still...... well he's still Nico.

The sun was shining brightly and the wind had a hint of pine. I wonder how pinecone face is. I was spending my time in my mom's apartment in Manhattan, sitting in the living room on the sofa. Next to me was a gorgeous girl with blonde princess curls and intelligent grey eyes. The one person that made me feel like I could do any thing once I have her.

Annabeth curled up under me whilst reading a book named 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘗𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘴. It was some book about some kid called Harry Potter and how he had to defeat some evil wizard dude called Moldyshorts.No wait. Voldemort.Yeah that.
I on the other hand was watching 𝘊𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘭 War. Mom was in the kitchen preparing lunch.

I was at the climax of the movie when I heard the doorbell. "I'll get it! " I shouted as I made my way to the door. As I opened the door I was thinking 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘫𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘯g 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘦. 𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥. 𝘏𝘮𝘱𝘩......𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘒𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰. Oh how I 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 it was a monster. These people were worse than the monsters. They were the sole reason my life was hecktic.

It was the Fates.

To say I was surprised was an understatement. Then me being the intelligent person I am reacted with by stuttering "Ummm............... Hi?"
Then they spoke, simultaneously, "We have come to give you your final trial. You will go to a world on verge of war. Help them defeat the evil and we will grant you a peaceful life with Annabeth for the rest of your days. Aphrodite agreed to this transaction. You have no say in this. You will wake up tomorrow in the world that we speak of. We will send Annabeth with you. We are not monsters. "

They said all of that and then they flashed away. 𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘦. 𝘖𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪f 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘪𝘦. I was looking so forward to no wars this year. To just have fun at camp and teach the new campers. But nooooo. I closed the door in anger and started pondering how I'll break this to Annie. Yes by the way, I said pondering. You forgot I'm around a daughter of Athena most of the time. "Percy, dear, who was it? " My mom asked from the kitchen. "Just....... ummmm....... Beth! Can you come in the kitchen? " I yelled. She was brobably gonna kill me for calling her that.

Annabeth POV.
"....... Beth! Can you come in the kitchen? " Percy basically screamed. I could sence that something was wrong. It's just how he said it, like if he was tired of something, not trying to annoy her by using the nickname. I swiftly marked my page in my book, got up and went to the kitchen where Sally and Percy currently were. As I walked in I smelled many the delicious scents that filled the air. I made my way to Percy.

I looked at him. He seemed tense. His eyes were darting around the room. Then he looked at me and I could tell he was angry. His sea green eyes weren't calm anymore. They looked like the ocean when it was stormy and unpredictable. Wild.

Percy spoke. "Annabeth I'm soo sorry. The Fates are sending us on quest in another world. They said if we succeed they'll grant us a happy life."He looked like he wanted to go and hide from the world. I walked over to him and hugged him. I calmed him down. Sally walked from the counter and joined the hug. The hug lasted for 3 minutes. I released myself from his embrace.

"Percy were going to be okay. At least were going to be together. Once were together we can do anything."He looked at me and smiled, "Together." Sally pushed her son up, "Well you two better get ready. Pack, go to camp and tell Chiron and your friends farewell. And I'll bake cookies for your quest. "

I grabbed Percy's arm and dragged him to his room. I pulled out two small bags and gestured for him to start packing. I packed some clothing, ambrosia, nectar, a first aid kit,bubble rap (for emergencies),my book that I still needed to finish, two daggers and my drakon bone sword. I also walked with my architecture journal, you never know when you'll get inspiration.

Percy handed me four photos. The first one was a photo of Grover, Percy and I after our first quest. We looked like we were waiting for something to happen. The next picture was of the seven and Coach Hedge on the Argo 2. We were all smiling but you could see we looked nervous. The third photo was of the remaining of the seven, Nico, Thalia, Reyna, Grover and Juniper the last week of last summer. The final picture was a picture of our under water kiss on Percy's sixteenth birthday.

"Dad got it for me."Percy said, grinning as he saw my face. I hugged him and slung my backpack over my shoulder. I walked out his room and back to the kitchen. He followed and we told Sally that we would come back at six for dinner.

Percy did a classic New York cab whistle. Three minutes later Blackjack appeared.

Percy POV.
Blackjack landed on the balcony. The black stallion started conversing on the usual.
(𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚌𝚢, 𝙱𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚓𝚊𝚌𝚔)

"Hey boss, got any donuts?"
"No but we could stop at Dunkin donuts on our way to camp."
"Sure thing boss. "
"Can you please stop calling me boss? Just Percy."
"Okay. You're the boss. "

I mentally facepalmed. After stopping at Dunkin donuts we made our way to Camp Half Blood. When we landed I took in the breath taking sight. Kids sparing in the arena, the Hermes kids pranking and picking pockets.

"Thanks for the ride blackjack! "

"No problem boss."

I was about to tell him to stop call me boss, but he flew away. I sighed in defeat and wrapped my hand around Annabeth as we walked past Thalia's tree. Pelesus rose up excitedly as we passed. I patted him on the head and turned in the direction of the Big House. As we were headed to our meeting place new campers would stare at Annie and I and point at us, making feel kind of uncomfortable at the attention. But it happens every year so I'm kinda used to it. One Dermeter girl actual brought her favourite plant for me to sign. Like, jeez.

When we finally walked in to doors of our meeting room, we saw Chiron and Will chatting at the pool table. You know Beth should really redesign the room when we get back. Maybe she could put thrones for us to sit on and design them according to our parentage. That would look sooo..... Wait.......im getting off track again. When they noticed us in the room Chiron expressed his joy at seeing us. Will excused himself and closed the door behind him.

"Percy, Annabeth how are you?"the centar boomed. Annabeth gave Chiron a face that he read like an open book. Annie spoke, her voice wavering. " We were given a quest by the fates. We have to go to another world and help the inhabitants in an upcoming war. They told us how to get there but not how to get back. W-..... W-We don't know if we'll come back. "Her voice broke towards the ending. I hugged her., trying to ensure her that everything will be okay. Chiron sighed. He hugged Annabeth and I. He wished us good luck and said that he would announce of our departure at dinner. " Go and say goodbye to your friends no. Shoo."

We nodded and set off to find Grover, Piper, Jason and Nico. We found Piper and Jason. We also found LEO AND CALYPSO WITH THEM! I couldn't believe Calypso was here. It made me feel very awkward. It's not like we we're dating, but she did like me sooooooo....... Removing the attention from her, to prevent the awkwardness, to Leo. I punched him. Multiple times. Let's just say LEO probably wished he stayed dead then I hugged him because I felt responsible for him. Like the fates gave me a parting gift to say sorry your life's terrible, take Valdez.

After our little reunion, we told them to meet us at my cabin and began the search for Grover. Fortunately, he was with Will and Nico dicussing the urgent demand for ambrosia and nectar before the next capture the flag game. We inturupted their little chat. We told them to follow us to the Poseidon cabin where the others were waiting.

We relayed the information to them excluding the whole we don't know how to get back if we survive dilemma. After we were finished Jason shouted, "But we just got you back! We said that this summer would be for the bros! "" I know. I was looking forward to this too. But when we come back we'll make up for the lost time because we'll be going to collage together. " I said to reassure him. Grover looked devastated. Piper started crying and hugged Annabeth who was embracing the last moments we would be here with our friends for a very long time. Then it happened. Nico hugged me. He started crying. I was stunned. The last time I say him cry was probably when his sister died.

"I'll miss you Aquaman. Who's gonna tease me about liking Soltace?You promised Bianca,remember?" Nico asked quietly so only I could hear. I started crying too. Then everyone in the room noticed. They all came into the group hug. Nico silently came out after the firt minute. My guess is because of too much physical contact. I wish we didn't have to leave. I was just getting accustomed to the nightmares and waking up in the middle of the night.

We were eating in silence. Mom had told Paul about what had happened when he wasn't home at the grocery store. He took the news fairly well and when we came back from saying our goodbyes at camp, he hugged us and gave a souvenir from Chicago that he bought two years ago. I didn't want to take it but he insisted.

After the very silent dinner I had a very long shower because I probably won't be having those anytime soon. I then put on two layers of clothing,a camp half blood tee-shirt and a black hoodie, and slung my sack on my back. Hey that rhymes. I was waiting for Annie to finish with her bath but I drifted to sleep.

DREAM
I was on a beach near the Pacific Ocean. The waves crashed on the sand bringing in more seashells to the already crowded shore. Sitting on the shore was a man. He had black hair that went in every direction on his head and sea green eyes that made it seem as if you were staring into ocean itself. He had lots of wrinkles that seemed to be the aftermath of smiling. I recognized him instantly. It was my father.

He gestured for me to sit next to him. I took the invitation, staring at him. "Percy, I came to say goodbye. And also to give you information on this world that you'll be going to. In this world people have abilities. A few of them are born with a gift to control one of the elements according to who your ancestors are. You know fire, water, wind and earth. So since there are four elements,, the world is divided in four nations according to which element the people are born with. The Northern and Southern water tribes, the Fire nation, the Air temples and the Earth kingdom.

But there is one person who can control all of the elements, the Avatar. The Avatar is the bringer between their world and the spirit world. He or she brings balance to their world. The avatar reincarnates so they can be born in any nation once the previous one dies. Unfortunately the last Avatar went missing for 100 years. He was trapped in ice. During the 1oo years, the fire nation waged war on the four nations, taking over most of the world, but they won't stop until the entire world belongs to them. The Avatar is still alive though so I'm going to send you to the avatars current location. Any questions?"

Wow. Yes I had loads of questions, but I stopped myself and asked the most importantquestion I could think of. "How are we going to get back?" My father had this look of realization registeringon his face. "Oh yeah, Hephaestus made this." He presented to me a wooden box. It looked polished and very sturdy. "When you open this it takes the firm of a boat. When you enter the boat it will take you home in a day and vice versa.  Now I must be going cause your starting to wake up. And Percy." "Yeah Dad?" "Dont forget that your the true son of Poseidon." He said while smiling back at me as he faded away.

End of Dream

I woke up in a very illuminated room. I saw Annabeth next to me sleeping. She looked so peaceful. I then turned my attention to my surroundings. The room was big compared to my room. Next to me, I found our bags. I quietly slipped out the room with an iron sword, but just incase I had riptide in my hoodie pocket. I made it to an open space. I scanned the area. Buildings were on the roof looking as if they were there for thousands of years. There was a water fountain, and a fire. Sitting around the fire we're three children.

There was a boy and a girl, the boy looked older, and they looked like sibling.They were both had brown hair.There was a younger boy, who was also a brown hair, and he had an arrow on his forehead head. Then the youngest was a girl. She had black hair. While the others were discussing about someone called '𝘡𝘶𝘬𝘰' and 'Aang'.The youngest girl noticed that I was watching them and pointed it out to the others. All of their gazes turned to me. I reached my pocket for holding on to riptide 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦, and stepped forward form my place in the shadows.Then the dude with arrow on his head got up and slowly made his way towards me like if I was some wild animal. He stopped when there was a good distance between us so that it wasn't weird but still enough distance incase a fight broke out. "Hi, I'm Aang. I'm the avatar."
