Mama's Boy
New chapter. YAY! Its my best friends birthday. SUPER YAY! On a sad note, this book is two chapters away to be finished. SO I'll make the last chapters(including this one) the longest and hopefully best in the book. So sit back, relax and enjoy.
SUKIE: DO I REALLY NEED TO SAY THIS? SHE DOES NOT OWN PJO OR ATLA CHARACTERS.
PERCY POV.
I was in my cabin, sitting on my bed. I was about to iris message my mom. I manipulated the water from the water fountain to become mist. I fished out a drachma from my deep pocket and tossed it into magic fog. "O Iris goddess of the rainbow, show me Sally Jackson at her apartment in, uppereast Side Manhattan. " I told Iris as I had said it mant times before. The mist then shifted and an image of my mother, sitting at the dinner table with Paul. "Hi mom! Hi Paul!" I shouted, announcing my presence.
"Percy!" My mother shouted, "How are you? Are you okay? Where's Annabeth?! Is she okay?" Paul smiled. "I'm okay mom and Annabeth is too. Everyone's okay. Well maybe except the Stolls, but they're always causing trouble. Anyways, I was wondering if Annabeth and I, along with a few new friends, could come over today. We want to introduce them to our world." I told. "What do you mean 'Our world'?" My mom asked. "Well, the people we had to help in the other world, they're here. We want to show them around. " I explained. "Sure thing Percy. But try not to get into any trouble before you arrive. " I grinned. "Me, get into trouble? Noooo." I said. She just sighed. "Bye Percy, see you soon. Love you. " She said. "I love you more." And swiped through the mist. I've ways liked doing that.
I walked out my cabin and into the dinning pavilion and sat at my table. Team avatar were at the Hermes table since their, well, travellers. So I sat their, picking at my food, wondering, should they watch Finding Nemo or The little mermaid first. This sooooo hard. You know what? The little mermaid. It's a Disney classic.
While I was making my decision of importance, I failed to notice the Stolls sneaking around the Ares cabin. Suddenly I heard Clarisse shout, "Get away from the chariot Stolls!" I turned I saw the brothers next to the Ares cabin's most favored chariot, about to paint it in yellow and apply flowers to it. I laughed. "What you laughing at Jackson?" Clarisse asked. "N-Nothing" I said between fits of giggles. "That's what I thought."
"Look, Clarisse, we were just-"
"Decorating your chariot for-"
"The game tonight." The brothers defended their actions. "How about I decorate your face?" Clarisse asked. The Stolls had enough brain cells left to know to run. The entire Ares cabin chased after them, screaming for Hermes boys' blood. Sokka looked at me, as if asking is that normal? I nodded to answer the silent question.
I got up and headed to the group of friends, " Hey guys, we're leaving today at midday, to show you around in the mortal world, so pack." I informed them. "Sure thing, I still want to know what a movie is though." Katara reminded. " Oh, you'll find out. I'm also bringing some of my friends too." I added. Then I ran to meet up with Annabeth, Piper and Jason. "Mom said its a go." I announced. "Your birthday party?" Jason asked. "Noooo. The sleepover. Frank and Hazel can't come for obvious reasons and Grover is looking after Juniper. She's got mites." Everyone nodded in understanding. "Okay, when do we leave?" Wisegirl asked. "Midday. By Pegasus."
"Um, Percy, do you know where Will is?" Asked Alex Fernwood. "Ah, yeah, he's at the archery range with Kayla." I replied, remembering the short conversation I had with the doctor. He thanked me and headed off to the part of camp I was forbidden from. For obvious reasons. "Who was that?" Piper asked. "He's Ales Fernwood, fawn. He came for the internship." I told her. She made a 'Ohhhh' face. "We better get packing if we want to make it to your mom's for lunch. " Annabeth reminded. "Yeah, I forgot about the packing thing." I laughed. Annabeth face palmed and shook her head. What can I say? I hate packing. "Well, we better get started then. See ya." Piper said, dragging Jason with her.
"Come on seaweed brain." Annabeth motioned for me to follow her. " But I don't wanna!" I whinned. I really despise packing. "You have to pack. If it makes you feel better, I'll help you, but I'm not doing every single thing." Annabeth compromised. "Fine." At least I didn't have to do it by myself. We walked off to my cabin. "I kinda feel bad, because you still have to pack." I said. "It's nice that you care, but I always have a packed bag. In case of emergencies." Wise girl said, smiling at me. "I'll always care, Wise girl." "I know you will, Percy. Know come on, quit stalling and full that suitcase." She ordered. "Yes ma'am."
Katara's POV.
We were in the Hermes cabin packing our few belongings. I was trying to make sure everyone packed essentials, since they usually forgot stuff. "And your sword." "Check." "Your necklace." "Check." "Your glider." "Check. Why would I forget that?" "Remember that time?" "Oh. Yeah."
"We're ready!" Percy shouted from the door. I have to admit, this place is different than I expected. I just thought that everyone would have powers. Apparently it isn't so. But some people do have unique abilities. Like manipulating the growth of plants. That's cool. And then theirs people who can make you see things.
"So. Well be traveling by air." Percy informed. "Like on a flying Bison?" Aang asked. "Well, sorta. Like how you have Appa, Percy has a flying companion. His name is Blackjack. And he and his friends agreed to carry us. For a price." At the last part Annabeth looked at her boyfriend as if asking, 'Do you have it?'. "Yes, I have it." Percy confirmed. I noticed Piper and a boy with the same hair colour as Annabeth, blonde, next to her. I believe his name is Jason, well at least from what I heard. "Come on guys. We have to head to the stables." Stables? I've never been there. Hmmm. As soon as we entered the stables a midnight black horse trotted towards us. "Yes Blackjack I brought the donuts. And no, only one." The horse neither at Percy's statement. "No, the others have to get too." The horse whinned but apparently gave up. "Good. Guys, this is Blackjack, my Pegasus." Percy introduced. The horse tapped his hoof. "Fine. My flying companion. Happy?" The horse, or should I say, Pegasus, nodded.
Right before we were about to leave, the say lightning in the distance. Believe me, I know how it looks. "Perseus Achilles Jackson!" A feminine voice shouted. "Oh man! Looks like mama's boy's gonna have to wait."
