Today, I woke up to Hope shaking my shoulder. She said, "I've been calling your name for the past five minutes. Chiron wants to see you in the Big House."

I sighed, "I can't even sleep-in in my own  cabin."

Hope laughed, "No, you can't. Now get up."

Five minutes later, I was up and ready for the day.

I was wearing my Camp hoodie and black sweatpants.

On our way there, I summoned some ambrosia for me to snack on.

We got to the Big House at around 9:30. Chiron was waiting for us in his office.

He said, "Percy, as you know, tonight is the Winter Solstice. The gods are requesting you to appear. So you must do so. The meeting starts at sunset."

Hope asked, "What's so important about the Solstice."

Before I could say anything, Chiron explained, "The Summer and Winter Solstices are the two days Council meetings are held. Due to the three wars we've experienced, they have met more often. But generally, they are only held twice a year."

"Oh."

Hope and I then went to the Mess Hall where the portal between the two camps was.

"So they're two demigod camps? One for the Greeks, and another for the Romans." Hope asked.

I nodded, "Yeah. Until two years ago, we knew nothing about each other. Cause every time we would meet, we would end up fighting each other. The American Civil War is the best example."

Hope raised an eyebrow, "Really? Next you're going to tell me that they were behind World War II."

"Well..." I started, "It was actually between the children of the Big Three. Children of Poseidon and Zeus fought for the Allies, and Hitler was a son of Hades."

Hope couldn't believe it. "You're telling me that Nico's half-brother's with Hitler."

I nodded again.

"Oh, he's also like ninety years old." I added.

"What?!"

You should have seen the look on her face. It was priceless.

I explained, "When he was ten, he and his sister were taken to a Hotel in Vegas. Time passes differently in there. So to him, he thought he was only at the Hotel for a few weeks, but in reality, he was in there for over half a century."

I decided to stop there, so her mind won't explode. I stepped through the portal with Hope right behind me.

It's kind of hard to put into words what it felt like. But basically, it felt like walking through a doorway, but very disorienting.

We appeared in front of the gates to New Rome.

"Well if it isn't Percy Jackson." A voice called out.

I looked over and saw Terminus guarding New Rome.

We walked over to him and I said, "It's good to see you too."

I put Riptide down on the weapons tray and asked, "Where's Julia?"

Terminus proudly stated, "She has officially gotten her Probatio tablet and is busy with her training. But she still helps me during her free time."

"That's great." I smiled, "Tell her I said 'Hi.'"

We walked to the Senate house and I took Hope to the Praetors' offices.

Inside were Hazel and Frank.

I said, "Hope, meet Hazel and Frank. They're both members of the seven and now gods."

Hope waved, "Nice to meet you."

See, Hazel and Frank aren't exactly Praetors. They're more like Camp Jupiter's version of Mr. D. Since Reyna stepped down and joined the Hunters, they're also the Praetors until the next election.

I said, "Frank is also a descendant of Poseidon. His family can shape shift into animals, thanks to Poseidon."

Hope eyed me, "You can shape shift?"

I sighed, "No. Frank's the only one because he's 'special.'"

After that, we talked for a while, until I noticed that the Sun was going to set in an hour.

As we were leaving, Hazel called me back.

She smirked, "So you and Hope?"

I looked over at Frank, but he had the same look on his face that Hazel did.

I felt my cheeks heat up and said, "No. We aren't a thing."

That was kind of a lie. I felt that we were definitely more than friends, but we weren't a couple either. But I have to admit, I do have a slight crush on her.

Hazel studied me before sighing, "Whatever you say, Perce. See ya tonight."

When I caught up with Hope, back outside the Senate House, she asked, "So what did Hazel want?"

"Oh," I lied, "She just wanted to ask if I'm going to the Solstice."

Hope pointed out, "Weren't you all requested to show up, though?"

I quickly corrected, "Yeah, but she wasn't sure about me since I went to live a normal life for a while."

"And I still am trying to," I added.

Time Skip

It was now five minutes to the Solstice. I had changed into a toga, since it was required for gods.

As soon as I had come out of my cabin's bathroom, Hope burst into laughter. She said, "You look ridiculous."

I retorted, "It wasn't my idea. Blame Zeus."

Hope asked, "You sure I can't come with you."

I nodded, "Yeah. Another time."

With that, I vapor traveled to the Throne Room."

There were fourteen thrones for the Olympians, and nine makeshift ones. I sat down in the makeshift throne that was next to my father.

All the Olympians were arguing with each other about nonsense. For example, Artemis and Apollo were arguing who's older.

If this is what being an Olympian is like, then I don't regret my decision.

Eventually, Zeus asked, "So Nico, how is your mission going?"

Nico responded, "It's going well. Percy actually found his way to the school after meeting one the students."

Zeus looked at me, "Really?"

I nodded, "Yes, Lord Zeus. But they just think that I'm a witch. Which actually isn't a lie, considering who my grandfather was."

Zeus turned to Artemis, "How is the Hunt doing?"

Artemis said, "Our numbers are now what they used to be, and we are ready to carry out the Council's wishes."

Zeus looked at Jason and Piper, "What of the missing gods?"

"Missing gods?" I blurted out.

Jason explained, "Lately, some minor gods have stopped doing their duties. Piper and I were assigned to look into the matter. But now, we've discovered that there's no trace of them anywhere. We can't find them."

Zeus thought about what Jason had just said, and replied, "I think that we should have more gods put on the search. You and Piper will be in charge of this matter and report to the Council.

They continued to talk about other things until the meeting ended and I vapor travel back to my cabin.

Hope was fast asleep when I returned. It was past midnight, and I decided that I should get sleep too.
