Will Solace is actually really sad and doubts himself, and his powers a lot because he couldn't heal a lot of his friends and family. He talks to Nico about it a lot. Nico talks to the ghosts of the demigods Will couldn't save. They all told Nico to tell Will it wasn't his fault and he shouldn't blame himself.
