Chapter 2- Alleys and a Station Fit For a King
-<=>- Leo -<=>-
After the meeting, they all went to their cabins for dinner.
Leo got to cabin nine, only to hear a bunch of complaining.
"Leo!" Nyssa yelled. "Your little dragon ripped up the blueprints for the new hot tub!"
"Hot tub?" Leo grinned. "Cool."
"Not cool anymore!"
Leo lined them all up and they went to the pavilion for dinner.
It was pretty loud, but the awesome 7 weren't talking. It would be hard trying to eat when you are going on a quest to a wizard school to protect someone while an evil in Tartarus is rising. Yeah, kind of a downer.
After dinner, they all went to sleep. But Leo couldn't.
I mean, I sacrificed my own life to stop Gaea, and now we have to battle something worse? Leo thought. Yay.
Finally, Leo managed to go to sleep. However, his sleep wasn't as dreamless as he had hoped.
He was standing at the edge on a huge pit, so deep he couldn't see the bottom. Around him was just red mist, and he couldn't see anything else. Then, something in the pit laughed, a high pitched laugh, like it belonged to a girl.
"So this is one of the heroes destined to end me." Her voice was full of evil glee.
"Well, destinies change, son of Hephaestus. They do indeed. I was destined to never rise, but it shall happen soon. Good luck at that school."
Well, it isn't good for an evil girl to wish you luck. But with that, the red mist enveloped Leo, and he woke up.

Breakfast at the pavilion was loud, but kind of low key for Leo and the others.
They were going to a wizard school. They had to protect a powerful demigod and his demigod friends, but had to make sure they didn't know who they were. They also had to save the world from an evil lady from Tartarus. Actually, saving the world was kind of something they did every day.
After breakfast, they all planned to meet by Thalia's tree. Leo walked over and set his luggage down next to the others.
"What if he finds out." Percy said to Annabeth.
"He won't. Just don't be careless, seaweed brain."
"What up peeps." Leo gave a peace sign. "Got some bad news."
They all have him confused looks, and he explained his short dream.
Piper sighed. "Great. So the evil wished us luck. Something bad must be happening then."
"Exactly what I thought. But we gotta do it. Now, where did our weapons go, and what do we do next?"
"You'll be transported to London." Chiron trotted up. "From there you shall go to Kings Cross Station, and onto the train. As for your weapons..."
He handed them seven wands, each with special designs. Annabeth had a silver one with an owl, Percy had one with wave designs, Jason had clouds and lightning, Piper had a dove and rose, Hazel had hers with kinds of jewels, Frank had a bunch of animals, and Leo's had flame designs. Each one had a thin celestial bronze etch by the bottom, where they would hold them.
"These are your wands that you will be able to preform spells with. They have been enchanted to turn into your preferred weapons if you twist the bottom part. Yes, Percy, Riptide is now a wand instead of a pen. I hope you all will be able to handle them easily."
They all nodded.
He sighed. "I wish you all good luck, and pray that the gods are with us all."
"Wait!" Annabeth yelled. She ran up and hugged Chiron. Then, as she went back to Percy, she asked, "How are we being transported?"
"Aeolus, the god of the wind, is doing us a favor and using a sort of wind teleportation to get you demigods to Diagon Alley. You will learn that the wizards call them Port Keys."
"Diagon Alley?" Hazel frowned.
"It's like a marketplace, with shops and stuff." Annabeth explained. "I read them in those books Chiron gave us." Her eyes got a dreamy look in them. "The architecture for the Hogwarts castle is amazing..."
Jason laughed. "Well we should there soon then."
They all grabbed their luggage, waiting to be teleported.
-<=>- Piper -<=>-
After about a minute of awkward silence, the world seemed like it was spinning to Piper, then like they flew up in the air. Piper should know, she's flew by Jason-Travel before.
Finally, they touched hard ground. Piper looked around and saw that they were in a gross looking alley. Weird how they ended up in an alleyway in Diagon Alley.
Piper tried reading those books, but Jason was right next to her, so it was obvious that she was distracted. Gosh, he was cute with his blonde hair and sky blue eyes.
Annabeth walked out near the entrance first, and turned to them with a grin. "You guys should see this."
Piper looked out, and was amazed. There was a huge street filled with wizards. Shops were on each side, with all different colored themes. Piper saw one filled with brooms, and another looking just like a huge bank.
"Wow." Frank said. "This is busy."
"Yep." Percy popped the 'p'. Wow. Say that ten times fast. "So where do we go?"
Annabeth looked around. "You guys go look around. I got to go somewhere. Piper, want to come with me?"
"Sure." Piper shrugged. "What about luggages?"
"We'll just leave them here." Percy suggested.
"Seaweed brain... They might get stolen." Annabeth smirked.
"Just set them in the corner."
We did as he asked. Then, Percy snapped his fingers sharply. The bags turned into trash bags, but Piper could barely make out what they were before.
"Percy! Chiron showed you how to manipulate the mist?"
Percy gave a smug smile. "Now Thalia can't hold that against me. I'll tell her next time we see her."
"Is Persassy coming out?" Leo teased.
"Anyways." Annabeth intervened. "Let's go, Piper."
They walked out of the alleyway and turned left, while the rest turned right.
"So where are we going?" Piper asked.
"I want to buy something." Annabeth explained very specifically.
They finally stopped before a silver shop, called Owl Emporium. Annabeth walked in. Inside was a whole bunch of owls. There were big ones, small ones, brown ones, black ones, and white ones. Piper didn't know much about owls.
"Apparently, wizards get these to transport messages."
"Can't we just iris message people?"
Annabeth shook her head. "Only when we are alone. But we can use these when we are in front of others."
They looked around for one that could work.
"Found him." Piper heard Annabeth say. She turned and saw her in front of a handsome pure black owl in a cage.
"Reminds me of Blackjack. Percy's pegasus." She laughed.
Piper went over and put a finger in between the bars. She likes animals, and they hardly ever tried to harm her. The owl lightly pecked her hand curiously, and nudged its beak against it.
"Well it's friendly. Let's get it."
Annabeth got out a few strange-looking coins, and handed them to the owner. Then, Piper took the cage, and they headed outside.
As they walked, Annabeth explained to Piper how wizard money works. Apparently, there are knuts, sickles, and galleons. 29 knuts are equal to a sickle, and 17 sickles are equal to a galleon, so there are 493 knuts in a galleon. Good to know. Piper didn't have dyslexia, but she hated math.
They finally met up with the rest at the alleyway entrance.
"OMG it's a birdy!" Leo exclaimed, while people gave him strange looks.
"Pure black." Percy nodded. "Good choice."
"Okay so does anyone know where Kings Cross station is?" Piper asked.
Hazel nodded. "We sent Chiron an iris message and asked if he could have us teleported again. We just got to touch our luggage, and we'll be at the station."
"Okay. Let's do this."
Piper grabbed her suitcase handle. She gave the owl to Annabeth as everyone got together, and the world spun again.

As they touched ground, Piper and the others started looking around again. They were at the entrance to a huge station. Trains were pulling in and out, people were milling about. Another busy place.
"Okay." Frank states. "So Chiron said that we need to go in the wall entered platforms nine and ten." He turned to Annabeth. "Right?"
"Yes. Which are over there." She pointed to a wall with the numbers nine on the left and ten in the right."
"Won't we look stupid?" Percy asked.
Leo snorted, and opened his mouth, about to make a joke.
"Don't even, Leo." Piper warned.
"We all know that you were going to make a comment about Percy and stupidity."
Percy frowned. "I don't get it."
Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Let's go."
Piper grabbed her suitcase and walked over to Annabeth. Her wand was tucked safely in her boot.
When they made it to the wall, Annabeth made no hesitations. She ran right at the wall, and disappeared.
"Annabeth!" Percy yelled. He ran right after her.
"Awww. Percabeth." Leo skipped right through.
Frank grabbed Hazel's hand and they went through together.
Jason took her hand. "Ready?"
Piper exhaled. "Ready as I'll ever be."
She ran to the wall, expecting to hit solid bricks. But no.
She ran right through.
<><><> Hi. How are you.
I didn't want to make the chapter too long, so that's why it ended so badly. Much luv.
Comment what you think the 7's pet owl should be named! Best one gets a dedication!
Also, who's POV (point of view) do you want to see the most? I'm trying to fit them all in at least once, but it is going to be kinda hard. Life is hard.
