Chapter 23- The Pond Family

I never met Donna but from the way the Doctor talked about her and how she tragically left him I didn't ask too many questions and most of the time the Doctor deflected them.

I let him. I was the objective third party anyway. When the Doctor got a new face he told me as his Tardis was fixing itself then he went to go back to a Amelia Pond.

It's been a bit since I last talked to the guy and I certainly didn't expect him to just park and materialize right in front of me while I was in California.

The reason I was here was because Hephaestus was talking about some machines going weird over here and asked me to check it out.

The first thing that came out of my mouth as the Doctor floundered out of the Tardis was, "You look like an idiot."

The reason he looked like an idiot was because of the fez on his head, "Bow ties are cool." Was the first defensive thing that came out of his mouth.

"Wasn't talking about the fez. Here I thought you had brains." I said looking at the fez.

"You like the bow tie?" The Doctor asked instead fixing his probably on reflex.

"I've learned not to ask." Was my reply.

There was a laugh as three people exited the Tardis, "Oh! Percy this is Amy, Rory, and River." The Doctor said grinning to the three people.

"Hello. I'm Percy Jackson." I said grinning and was thankful I was in my 22 year old form instead of my 18.

"Do you know the Doctor?" Rory asked.

I laughed good naturally, "My family knows him and we've been friends for a while now."

"Do you know anything embarrassing?" Amy asked suddenly

I started to laugh remembering some things as the Doctor rushed, "Right then, why are you here."

Calming myself I said, "Some concerns have been brought to attention and I'm here to check it out. Why are you here?" I asked

"The Tardis brought us here." The Doctor said.

"Speaking of her. Why was there no wheezing this time it materialized?" I asked

River just sighed fondly and responded for The Doctor, "he keeps her brakes on. I turn them off meaning no wheezing."

I just laughed, "One day she's going to get tired of you and will kick you out until you realize that she probably doesn't like the brakes on all the time."

"Why don't we look around shall we?" The Doctor asked rushly.

River just smiled innocently and hooked my arms with hers and as we were walking she asked, "So tell me these embarrassing things."

I just laughed and started to tell stories as The Doctor groaned.

Turns out there was an infestation of these things called Cyberman.

The reason we know it's an infestation was because we were captured by them and then brought to their little base of operation. I wasn't totally worried but I was a little sick at the fact they were human with suppressed emotions.

"Doctor what's the plan?" Amy asked as they were thrown into a cage and schedule for an extermination because we were associated with The Doctor.

They also took his sonic screwdriver and River's weapons, like all 10 of them.

"I'm thinking." The Doctor said looking around.

"While you do that I'm getting us out of here." I said smiling all comfortable.

"And how do you suppose we do that?" Rory asked

"Easy." I said with a snap focusing on my powers on the three cyberman guarding out cage.

"Let us out." I said bending their loyalty from the cyber kingdom to me.

The Cyberman stood still for a second as I let my magic work and Amy muttered, "Well that worked brilliantly." but then shut up as the Cyberman started moving toward us and unlocked the cage.

"Where are The Doctor and his companions weapons?" I demanded

The Cyberman looked in thought then one said, "Down the hall past the changing facility sir."

"Dismissed." I said and the Cyberman started to walk away.

"How'd you do that?" Amy demanded

"They don't call him the God of Loyalty and other things for nothing." The Doctor said clapping my back.

"God of what?" Rory asked shocked stumbled a bit as we started walking.

"Greek God of Loyalty, Rivers, and Lakes. I met the Doctor because he was trespassing on Olympus but instead of kicking him off I gave him a tour. What I'm doing now is bending the Cyberman's loyalty to follow me instead of their leader." I explained

"Knew you were special." River said in a slightly flirty fashion and I laughed good-nature.

"That's what my wife says anyway." I said dismissively and The Doctor grinned.

"How is Annabeth and your children?" The Doctor asked

"Lucas is turning three soon, Atlantia is 13 and is already in her argueing stage while nephew Achilles is now going on 10 years old. Maia is still in the hunt almost 27 now." I said smiling and went down the hall past the facilities where some screaming was, "Give me a second I need to do something." I said and entered the room.

The others making a decision to follow me as I got up the ladder and was watching everything below me. Snapping my fingers, a habit really, I yelled, "Stop everything and stop the changing. From now out no one is being changed. In fact make the machines reverse and then every Cyberman enter the new changing machines."

There was a pause then voices said, "Yes sir!" nodding my approval I got The Doctor and his companions back out of the area and we were back on track.

"Is it hard?" Amy asked thoughtfully.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Changing one's loyalty?" Amy finished

I looked back, "Depends on if the person is a good person or not I guess. Cyberman have suppressed emotion, they don't know right from wrong so it's not as hard as it is to a person knowing exactly what their doing. Those people, their ideal place is in their head and that might be something I'm trying to fix or bend. That's harder than Cyberman, especially if their a friend."

"I don't really get it." Rory said a bit confused, "I mean I get some of it but not all of it."

I sighed a bit and thought for a second, "It's like a painting, someone may see something different then how you see it. You may see it as a block of colors but a person can see someone's feelings or an image. They try to bend your mind to see what they see. That's similar to what I do, I try to bend their mind to see mine and how what they are doing is wrong or the person they are loyal to is wrong. It can also just be a shift of good or evil too, someone may think their doing good but are really doing something evil and I shift it ever so slightly and they know the difference." I said trying to explain it better.

"I think I get it." Rory said and I nodded

We were quiet until we got the weapons, "What are you going to do?" The Doctor asked

"I'm going to oversee here for a bit, invite Hephaestus here to help reverse the machines and see about getting the people reassembled if possible. Might have to wipe their memory because I'm sure this was traumatising but don't worry. If they can't be put back into a human state I can work with Hephaestus and see about fixing their emotions and helping them through it and finding a place for them. Still working on it though." I said

"At least I know they're in safe hands." The Doctor said with a grin.

"They sure are because I have a feeling you're going to check in a couple times aren't you." I said with a grin.

The Doctor grinned good-heartedly, "I don't exactly trust Zeus."

I shrugged, "Can't blame you. If he thinks of doing anything bad I'll call you now that you finally gave me your number." I said

The Doctor frowned, "I don't remember giving you my phone number."

I just grinned and winked at River as I said, "Spoilers." to the Doctor then laughed at the expression The Doctor made of exasperation.

Giving a goodbye I say the Pond Family leave. Chuckling once more at the Doctors stupid Fez he kept on the whole time.

I'm not going to do Clara or the Twelfth Doctor because I don't really want to go down that emotional trauma right now plus I want to move onto another Crossover Genre.
