Previously on PJD:

"Third door on your right. In a closet is a door to a secret room with an emergency exit," Piper whispers through it. We follow her instructions, and enter the room and into the closet and into another small gray room with everyone else in it. Expect they are all tied to chairs and their eyes wide with fear.

"Behind you! It was a trap! We got caught!" Leo yells quickly.

We all spun around see the four council members. Of course. But they are all pointing guns at us.

"Going somewhere, you all?" Sneers none other than Max.

Percy's POV

I knew this was the moment. The moment where Annabeth had to make it out alive, along with the rest of them.

*flashback*

Chase and I sit in the room from Amity while the girls are gone doing whatever girls do when they are together. Will and Nico are gone right now, so it's just the two of us.

"Chase...I need to tell you something," I say, hoping he will be with me on this.

"Yeah Perce?" He asks, his eyes filling with confusion.

"Please be with me on this. If we're ever in a situation, when everyone is in danger, especially our girlfriends, will you help me get them and everyone else out before me?" I ask cautiously. Chase sighs and lowers his voice to a whisper.

"I would put Celeste's life before mine any day, so yeah, I'll help you when the time comes. But don't you dare go and sacrifice yourself before me, because I will kill you," he says. I laugh a little and lower my voice to a whisper. 

"When I tap you on the wrist twice, in the situation, do whatever it takes to kill our enemy, and if it's too complicated, just get the others out, okay?" I say. Chase nods and in that second the girls burst in, laughing.

*flashback over*

I tap Chase twice on the wrist, but no one notices.

"Why are you leaving so soon? We saved you for gods sake!" Jacklyn asks, her acting skills perfect.

"I think you know," Celeste growls. Max laughs.

"Were giving you a choice. Join us to destroy the factions, or die," he says. Everyone is silent.

"I guess we just-" Jamie starts but Chase mutters something.

"What?" Max says, a grin spreading across his face.

"I'll join you," he mutters a little louder. It is silent. Everyone is shocked, and Celeste looks about on the verge of breaking down.

"And why is that?" Jared asks, his smile spreading too.

"It's better than being dead," he mutters, walking over to join their side. I feel anger rising up in me, and I want to actually kill him. Something stirs inside of me, and I decide that if Chase won't help me, I'll do it myself. I nudge Annabeth's foot and slightly nod my head backwards. She nods and I pull out my gun, and aim it at Jared's face. He stiffens but I see the glint of silver in his hand-a knife. While he is distracted Annabeth slowly creeps backwards and starts cutting people from their chairs. They stay in the chairs though, to make sure no one notices.

"I can't believe you Chase...after all we've been though..." Celeste says, a tear slipping down her cheek.

"That does seem slightly suspicious, that he would leave you for us," Jamie sneers. Chase's expression turns cold.

"You want loyalty? I'll prove my loyalty," he says.

"And how is that?" Asks Jared. Chase doesn't change his expression.

"I'll kill one of them," he says. Max grins wider than it seems possible.

"Do it then, how about the blond girl?" Jacklyn says. Annabeth is standing right in front of Chase. One both sides of Chase is Max and Jacklyn. Annabeth stiffens, her expression cold.

"If you touch her I will literally gut you-" I growl, but Chase cuts me off by raising his gun towards my face. I am on the other side of the room, closer to Jared who is farthest away from Chase.

"Shoot me, I dare you," I say gritting my teeth together.

"Wait, before you do. I think he needs to witness the blowing up of his home town. The factions. You see, we places dynamite all under the ground before the experiment started. And, I believe your mother is still inside. Oh yes, she's alive," Jacklyn sneers. A screen comes down from the ceiling, and my mother is sitting in a chair, looking at a picture of me, on the first day of school in 1st grade. I ball my hands into fists.

"All we have to do is press this button, and the world is gone. Now I know that none of you really have any good family left so you don't care, but Percy does," Max grins. I feel the stirring coming up faster. A red button emerges from the wall, and Max raises his hand over it.

"Goodbye, Sally Jackson-" he is cut off when Chase fires the gun. Instead of still being aimed at my face, it was into Max's head. He slumps against the wall and onto the floor, dead. But when he hits the wall, he hits the button.

"No!" I scream. The screen changes and I watch as the factions blow up, everything gone and smoke. I sink to my knees and put my head in my hands. Annabeth is by my side instantly, hugging me, wrapping her arms around my back, muttering words of confidence in my ear, but they are blocked off by the anger.

Of course I should've realized Chase would never side with them. Everyone is shocked and silent. Everyone sitting in the chairs remains there, but not tied up. I rise shakily, my gun gripped tight in my hand. Suddenly everything bursts into chaos. Jared shoots at Will who is holding Nico, but misses. Will's expression turns cold and he takes one hand and fires at Jared, hitting him in the arm with a billet from Nico's gun. Jared yells out and puts his gun in his other hand.

Jamie points her gun towards my face and fires, but with amazing speed I didn't know I had, I dodged and fire into each leg once. She crumples to the floor but shoots my side, and I cry out, trying to ignore the pain. The bullet just grazed the muscle on my side, but didn't get into my skin.

I shoot Jamie in the side too, and she dies. The world is a blur of gunshots and noise. I hear a door open and turn around to see everyone escaping. Good, I think. Now in the room left is Jason, Annabeth, me, and Chase.

Jason shoots Jacklyn in the hand, but she just tosses her gun into the other hand and quick as lighting aims at me and shoots into my head. But she doesn't, because someone jumps in front of me. A mop of dark hair that I hardly recognize. In a fury I run around them and shoot Jacklyn five times in the heart, and then whirl onto Jared who I kill instantly. Jason and Chase have disappeared out the door.

Annabeth and I run towards the person who saved me. And with a pang that hits my heart like a bullet, I realize who it is.

My mom.

"M-m-mom how did you get here?!" I sob. She smiles sadly.

"That recording they used, it was from another day. I came here a couple days ago when I heard what happened to you. I was in touch with the factionless and your father, who lives in a place called New York City. It's still alive. I heard the ruckus and came here to see..." she coughs up blood and twitches.

"Why mom? It should've been me. Please don't go..." I sob.

"I love you Percy. You must go to New York...there is a safe place there. Your father lives there, he will show you and your friends where you can live safely. Go north, I love you..."she coughs up more blood and her eyes start to flutter closed.

"I love you so much mom, so much. I will never forget you," I sob, anger rising up inside me. Then it goes away suddenly when my mom goes still. I sob onto her chest, where she got hit, where it should've been my head.

"We will make a memorial for her, we need to get to New York, wherever that is. I love you so much Percy, and so did your mom," Annabeth whispers. I sniff and wipe my nose, and stand up. I take Annabeth's hand and we walk out the door. The sight we see stops my heart for a few beats.

Thalia is on the ground, blood seeping out of her stomach. She is dead. Annabeth runs forward sobbing. She and Thalia apparently knew each other before dauntless somehow. I feel another fresh set of tears rolling down my face.

"No..." I whisper. Everyone crowds around her, eyes closed. Everyone's goes around saying what they loved about Thalia, and shedding tears. Suddenly I hear gunshots from inside. The rest of the council.

"We need to go now," I say. Everyone nods and Nico, who is now standing and better than before, pipes up.

"We need to get a hovercraft. There's a super big one that can fit all of us in a place near here. Let's go," he says. We all head towards where he shows us and load into a big hovercraft. Annabeth has a compass and Leo drives, somehow knowing how to fly one. He's good with machines anyway. Annabeth guides us North, and we fly towards the City of New York.

That's the end of the book! I can't believe it's done after all this time!!!!

Thank you all for being so supportive! To answer your questions, yes I will be doing a thing attached this, about Celeste and Chase's adventure. I'm so sad the book is over, but that's it!!

Everyone gets to New York safely and they find Poseidon, who Percy yells about his mothers death. Poseidon is devastated, but he takes everyone to a place called Olympus, which is Poseidon's house. It is a huge mansion, where they all live.

New York City is mainly destroyed, but there is a small section including the Empire State Building that is still there that no one really knows about.

Percy proposes to Annabeth two weeks later, and Will also proposes to Nico four weeks after that.

Five weeks after that, Jason proposes to Piper.

Five more weeks after that Chase proposes to Celeste. They all the get married happily and the rest will later, but since they are all younger they don't yet. Eventually Poseidon moves out and they have the mansion to themselves, where the married couples have children.

Will and Nico are wandering an old park one day when they find a small cardboard book buried in the snow. They pick it up when they hear a crying inside it and see a baby girl. They take her and Will saves her little life, and they raise her, naming her Bianca after Nico's dead sister.

Percy and Annabeth name their two children Sally and Bobby. Jason and Piper name their three children Zachary, Thalia, and Tristan. Chase and Celeste name their children Grace and Danielle.

Eventually Frank and Hazel get married and have a child named Jake. Calypso and Leo do too and they name their children Ash and Landen.

And they all lived happily ever after.
