Chapter 10: Younger Justice

So, I thought about this for a bit: I'm gonna throw in Episode 19: Misplaced from Young Justice Series, the one where all adults disappear...

It was only a few hours later when a red alert went throughout the tower and we instantly jumped to our feet.

"Something's wrong." I muttered to the team as we went out of the room and didn't find anyway.

"Where are they?" Luke groaned holding his head.

"What's wrong?" I asked concern especially when Zoe did the same thing.

"It feels like I'm being ripped between two worlds, both are fighting at me." Luke groaned and Zoe grunted in agreement.

I thought about it hard and looked thru security cameras instantly. Other than the one in our room, everyone just seemed to have disappeared.

Two worlds, one adult, one for children." I muttered to myself and trying to figure out a solution.

"Luke how old were you when you died versus the age you chose to be." I asked him even when he was hunched back in pain, clutching his head.

"I was twenty-three when I died, the age I chose for the afterlife was around age fifteen." he groaned out clutching his head and looked like he was about to start banging it against the wall or something.

"Physical age of death and chosen age are fighting." I muttered and asked Zoe the same thing, she replied almost the same except it was her age versus her age of the Hunters of Artemis.

I thought hard before trying something that I didn't quite want to do, I focused on creating magic resistant bracelets, to ward off anything unwanted.

I felt very lightheaded when I created two and had Bianca snap them on Luke and Zoe's wrists. I only saw Luke face slowly fall from lack of pain before my eyes were pulled shut and I felt myself falling, drained of power from not only creating one, but two items out of pure existence.

-----------------------------------

I wasn't out long from what I could tell, mostly because Bianca was still looming over me concern written all over her face.

I groaned and clutched my head, "Damn, that sucked." I said and heard Bianca stifle a giggle when the Watch Tower alarm went off but it sounded different than the one that alerted us to the fact that the grownups were gone.

I pulled up my hood that seemed to have been tugged down from one of my teammates, and went over to the large controls on the side.

After a moment of hesitation I clicked the link button and instantly I was connected with some sort of cave system. There was a boy, who kinda reminded me of a younger Nico that was just hitting his teens and behind him was a tan skinned fellow who seemed to have gills and a girl with blond hair and a green bow and arrow on her back but over regular look clothes.

"Where's the Justice League?" The boy who I first noticed asked his eyes instantly narrowing as he watched us.

"They disappeared." I said looking around like I was double checking, "Could we compare notes?" I asked hesitantly, they seemed to be superheroes (they just didn't seem to have their superhero outfits on).

"Who do we know you didn't take over the Watch Tower?" The girl asked and I felt just a bit proud that she thought of that.

"We can send over the Watch Tower footage. See for yourselves?" I asked wondering if they wanted that, because it's either that or I have no idea how we prove we didn't do something to the Justice League of this earth.

The three teens whispered among themselves for a moment before the kid who reminded me of Nico nodded, "That would be acceptable. Over and out." He said before the link went out, but I had a sneaking suspicion that they just made it seem that way.

"What do you want us to do?" Luke asked after a moment.

"We send the video feed." I said rolling my eyes under the hood and started to type in the computer and sending the footage, but it had seemed the kids had already done that.

"Sneaky sneaky." I muttered to myself a grin growing on my face.

"What's sneaky?" Bianca asked playing with her black bow a little bit.

"They already took the feed. I have to say, I'm impressed." I said smirking, "so, let's just wait for them to call back." I said and flopped onto a nearby couch where I let exhaustion lure me to sleep.

It felt like five minutes before I was being woken up, "What." I growled feeling annoyed and gave the perpetrator my death glare. All Luke did was just raise his hands in innocence before pointing over to the computer where the kids were back.

I huffed and pretended that I still wasn't that exhausted as I made my way back to the computer, "Are we trustworthy?" I asked the kid who was in the red hoodie that had a black jacket thrown over it for some reason.

"We reviewed the footage and determined it wasn't a fake. We're sending transport information now." he said as he typed into the computer before I heard the blue-like tubes behind us starting to fire up.

I nodded to Luke and Zoe to go first, Zoe fingered her bow but didn't draw out an arrow as she went first, followed by Luke who was fingering his sword but hadn't gripped it.

Instantly in the video I heard, "Justice League Visitor One. Justice League Visitor Two." and saw Luke and Zoe walk out unharmed.

They looked around before nodding into the video feed, "We'll be right over." I told him and sent the rest of my team through, each taking terms and receiving no distress signal.

I was the last to go through and felt pleased when my team weren't tied up or being threatened. In fact, Zoe and Bianca were talking to the girl with the green bow and arrow.

Ethan, Michael, and Lee were talking to the teen with the gills leaving Luke, Selina, Castor, and Charlie watching over them.

The ones who were talking to the other team instantly quieted down when I arrived but I gave them a nod and allowed them to keep talking while I walked to the kid who I spoke to over the link.

"Sicarius. Champion of Chaos, Order and, End." I said holding out my hand for him to shake.

"Robin, Protege of Batman." he said and I grinned, this actually might be more interesting than I originally thought.

"It seems we have a lot to discuss." I said grinning and saw Robin let out a little bit of tension and give a small smile back.

"It seems we do."
