Kayla patted his back as Austin emptied his stomach in the basin for the fifth day in a row. Will was on his honeymoon with Nico and Austin was the one that was taking care of the injured demigods. But Kayla noticed that Austin was getting tired easily and not to mention his morning sickness. The omega son of Apollo didn't look too well. "Are you sure that you are fine, bro?", Kayla asked. Austin brushed her off and headed to the infirmary. After a day of handling two broken arms, a dozen sprained ankles and a whole lot of bruises, Austin fainted on his way back to the cabin. Luckily Nyssa was nearby and brought Austin to the infirmary and informed the Apollo cabin.

Now, Kayla was sure that something was very wrong with her brother. She IMed Will and the demigod got his husband to shadow travel them to Camp Half Blood all the way from Paris in just five minutes.

Just as Austin was waking up, he saw Will talking with Kayla in front of the infirmary. He was lying on the same bed, where he treated so many patients during the day. The nausea was returning, so rushed down from the bed to the toilet. Though he vomited nothing but bile, he had a bad aftertaste in his mouth. As he came out, Will handed him a water bottle and made him sit on the bed.

"Kayla told me that you are not well. Why didn't you call me back?" the alpha demanded. Will was normally calm and cool but when he got angry, all hell broke loose. Austin replied, "It's nothing. I promise." Kayla scoffed, "Nothing, huh! You fainted, Austin! For fudge's sake! Will, he is not listening to me at all. He also has had nausea for the past five days. He even got morning sickness. Fudge! And here he is trying to convince us that he if fine!"

Will's face darkened even more. He asked in a voice that verged on anger, "Did he have his heat this month?" The elder son of Apollo snatched Austin's hand in a death grip and took his pulse as Kayla replied, "He is on suppressants right? I don't think he has had heats for the past few months." Will ordered Nico, "Neeks, darling, help me grab a pregnancy test from any nearby supermarket." The son of Hades who was standing unnoticed disappeared in the shadows and arrived two minutes later with the test in his hand. The time was spent with Kayla and Will glaring at Austin and the latter demigod was staring at his flat stomach in shock.

As Nico handed the test to Austin, Will shoved him into the bathroom. The poor omega took the test and came out. Will snatched it out of his hand. His facial expression first changed to shock and then it became anger, then rage and at last stopped at wrath.

Kayla peered over his shoulder to get a look at the test and covered her mouth in shock to see the double lines on the test indicating that the test was positive. The daughter of Apollo looked between her brothers, Will looked ready to kill someone and Austin hung his head low and just stood. Then as a lion approaching his prey, Will went up to Austin, caught his brother by his t-shirt's collar and made him look into his eyes. Will's alpha aura was filled with such wrath that even Nico flinched.

"Who did you sleep with?", Will asked in an extremely low tone. Nico got the hint that if he didn't get Apollo, Austin will be in trouble. So, he slipped into the shadows and appeared 15 minutes later in a flash of light with Lord Apollo and his dear boyfriend, Percy Jackson.

He saw Austin kneeling on the floor, a slap mark very prominent on his cheek. Will and Kayla were nowhere in sight, so apparently the sister was trying to cool off the brother. Then he heard the faint voices and went to find his husband. Meanwhile Apollo squatted beside his son and engulfed him in a hug. Percy was angry too but he tried to release a calming aura because Austin was disturbed by the news of his pregnancy if his tears were anything to go by. Nico had just told them that Austin was pregnant but didn't give much detail.

Austin broke down in Apollo's hug. He sobbed. Finally when the demigod calmed down, Apollo made him stand up and ushered him to sit on the bed in the infirmary. Percy handed Austin a water bottle. As Austin took small gulps from the bottle, Apollo asked, "Were you forced, Austin? You know that dad will punish anyone that forces his baby, right? Come on doll, tell me." The son shook his head vigorously as he rasped out, "I consented, dad."

"Did Chiron not give you sex education?"

"He did."

"Why did you not use protection then?"

"My suppressants ran out. I was about to go to buy them when my heat started. It was for the situation."

"Are you dating someone?"

"We broke up."

"Is it his child? Is he an alpha?"

The poor omega just nodded, as tears started dropping from his eyes once more. Percy joined the hug, "Austin, you don't need to be afraid. Just tell us. What happened? Why did you break up?"

"I don't know. We just broke up two weeks ago."

"Why did you not tell anyone that you two were dating?"

"He asked me not too."

"Does he have another mate?"

"No, dad. He is single. I am better than a house wrecking whore", Austin sniffed.

Percy pressed a hand to Austin's stomach and asked, "Do you want to keep the child?" The omega nodded, "The baby did nothing wrong."

Apollo looked skeptical, "Are you sure, doll? Many will shun you. But dad and your brothers and sisters will support you whatever you choose to do. Will is angry but he will come round." Austin nodded, "I know, dad. He is angry only because he loves me, he cares for me."

"Ok, baby rest. We will leave for now." Apollo pressed a kiss to Austin's forehead and the demigod fell asleep – thanks to a little godly magic and his exhaustion. Will entered with Kayla and was glared at by his father, "Did you hit him?" "I slapped him, dad. I was too angry but I shouldn't have done it. But he is just 16. He doesn't know anything about the world" – Apollo interrupted his rant and patted the head counselor of the Apollo cabin on his shoulders, "I hope everyone else has gone to bed. Take him to bed and let him rest. I'll be back soon."

Apollo and Percy left the camp and were standing on the beach when Percy spoke, "I felt that the child belongs to the sea."

"But you are the only demigod of the sea. Do you mean that my poor son was knocked up by some sea creature?"

Percy nodded and dragged Apollo to his dad's palace in the Atlantis. Poseidon was retiring for the night when they arrived. "Hey son, what's wrong? Why are you here so late? Did something happen?"

"Dad, Austin, a son of Apollo is pregnant."

"I don't see how the sea is related to this son."

"I felt that the child is related to the sea. So I guess it is becoming related to the sea."

The King of the Atlantis' face grew dark as he said, "The creatures of the sea have to report to Triton, if they want to mate with someone from the land. But I think he is a bit off for the past couple weeks." Poseidon called a merman guard and asked him to guide Apollo and Percy to Triton's room. Percy knocked but the reply that came was a muffled 'go away'.

Percy paid no heed to the response and barged into the room. The Heir of Poseidon was looking at some photo, but quickly put it in an envelope and hid it under his pillow. "What do you want? Did I not tell you to go away? Do you not know how to obey orders?" Triton groaned. "Well, I can't sit quite if my son got knocked up by a sea creature right? Dad told me that you are the one in charge of these affairs, so I need you to find out the bastard who did this to my son and even broke up with him." Despite the situation, a smile crept up to Apollo's face. He always loved the fact Percy treated his children like his own.

Triton sighed and went away somewhere. Percy, being the nosy younger brother he was, went up to Triton's bed and took out the envelope form under his elder brother's pillow. At that very moment Triton returned with a paper in his hand. He threw it Apollo, "Fill this form and paste a picture of the demigod. I'll get someone to check the matter. Now get lost." Then the Heir of the Sea noticed Percy having the envelope in his hand. "Return it to me", he growled. The demigod just flipped him off and before he could do anything else, Percy willed a wave of water to carry him to the other corner of the room and took out the photo.

Percy's eyes darkened with rage as Triton swam up to him and snatched the photo and the envelope out of his hands. Before the elder brother could put the photo back in the envelope, Percy swung at him. The two children of the sea rolled on the floor, the photo long forgotten.

Apollo picked up the photo. It showed Austin and Triton together. It was a snap from a photo booth in a carnival. Triton was pressing a kiss on Austin's cheek as the latter blushed.

Apollo saw red, literally and figuratively as Triton pushed Percy off of him with a punch on his cheek that drew blood. Apollo stomped up to the herald of Poseidon and demanded, "What is this? Were you the one that knocked Austin up?"

Triton just tilted his head to the side a bit and blinked. He stayed quiet for a whole minute as the information settled in. It was Austin that was pregnant. The boy he still longed for but broke up with as he felt like he was really cheating on his original mate.

Triton's brain stopped working. He asked incredulously, "It is Austin that is pregnant? Are you sure?"

"I am Triton or else I would not be standing here. Now tell me what you did to my son?", Apollo demanded, shivering with anger.

Triton went to sit on his bed and took the farthest corner. He pulled his tails up to his chest and rested his cheek on his elbows. "Basically I fucked up for the second time." Triton had tears in his eyes. Percy looked concerned. His brother never showed any weakness and this change of expression surprised him. "What's the matter, Tri?", he asked in a softer tone.

"Ever heard the story of Icarus?", Triton closed his eyes.

"The son of Daedalus?", Percy and Apollo chorused.

Triton nodded. A deep sigh escaped from him as he said in a shaky voice, "He was my mate. Yeah, I know you are confused but please don't interrupt till I finish. He did not die from the fall. I saved him. We loved each other and were about to get married but then I found out Icarus was pregnant. Mom and Dad were happy too. It was my first child. We decided to wait till he gave birth and we would get married. It was when the laws regarding demigods were not formulated. But alas! The Fates were against me. Icarus died during childbirth."

Tears were freely falling as he bit back on a sob, "I never got to mourn his death as I had a daughter to take care of. Apollo, you knew Pallas, didn't you?"

Apollo couldn't deny that tears had swelled up his eyes too, "Was Pallas your and Icarus' daughter?"

Triton nodded, "I lost the two people I loved the most in a span of twenty years. Pallas was just nineteen when Athena killed her. I failed Icarus. I failed to keep my promise." Seeing a sobbing Triton, Percy hugged his brother and asked, "Is that why you don't have demigod children? You had a mate?"

"I did. It hurt a lot when he died – like someone was tearing my heart away from my body. I could never bring myself to cheat on Icarus. Personal loyalty is not only yours fatal flaw, it's mine too."

"Then what did you do with Austin?", Apollo asked low.

"Your son wasn't a fling, Apollo. I promise. When I first saw him, I thought he was Icarus. He resembles my dead mate so much. But when he accidentally ran into the heat and I submitted to my instincts, it lit up the bulb. I was potentially cheating on Icarus with your son. It broke me to break up with him but I never thought that he would get pregnant. Hell, I didn't even knot him!"

"What!", now it was Apollo's turn to be astonished. "You said that Austin resembles Icarus, right?"

"Yes, he is like Icarus in everything. Except his eyes, Icarus had grey stormy eyes but Austin's ones are blue. But why do you ask?"

"I am guessing that Austin maybe the reborn Icarus. Give me a minute. I need to clarify." Apollo teleported out of the room and returned with a grumbling Hades who had a registrar in one hand. "Check the registrar. I don't remember whom you are talking about but all the rebirths are mentioned here", the Lord of the Underworld grumbled before the shadows drew him away.

Percy, Triton and Apollo scanned through the pages till they found the information of Icarus. Everything was mentioned in detail:

"ICARUS – mate of Triton – died on ....... – reborn as AUSTIN LAKE – rebirth date ........."

Triton swam out of the room at full speed. He banged on the door of his parents' room and an annoyed Poseidon appeared. Percy and Apollo just arrived in time to hear Triton give their father the good news, "Mom, Dad, Icarus is reborn." Amphitrite hugged her son and said, "Now, what is keeping you from claiming your mate, little one?" Triton was visibly uncomfortable. He looked like a child who had stolen candies, "I am the one who knocked up the son of Apollo whom I broke up with because I felt I was cheating on Icarus, who in turn is the one who Icarus was reborn as."

"Well, I guess that you have to try, haven't you, Tri? Show him this and he shall regain his memories." Amphitrite handed her son a coral locket. Triton took it and nodded. "Ok, mom, I guess it's time." He then turned to Apollo and Percy, "Well, I wanted to ask if it is ok if I try to woo Austin now?"

Apollo just shrugged. "I trust my son. If he thinks that he will be happy with you, I have no issues." Percy just gave a nod, nothing else. Triton swam up to Long Island's Beach. The darkness of the night was melting away, giving way to the day. Austin sat at the rock where they used to meet when they were dating. Though Triton was far from the demigod, he could sense the sadness radiating from him.

He swam up to the omega and climbed on the rock next to him and called, "Aussie."

Austin looked at him and let out a sob. "You, you, bad mermaid. You left me all alone by myself without even giving me a reason." The son of Apollo was hitting the God on his chest, though it didn't hurt at all, as he was dragged into a hug. "I am so sorry, Aussie. Can you give me a second chance?" Triton whispered as he drew soothing circles on the demigod's back. He then handed the locket to Austin who took it.

Austin's memories returned like a flashflood. He closed his eyes and opened them again. Triton was looking at him with tears in his eyes, "Do you remember, love?" Austin just nodded, he didn't trust his voice. He took Triton's face in his hands and crashed their lips together. Percy and Apollo, who were watching from behind the trees, looked away politely and took their leave to tell the others what had happened.

Meanwhile Triton asked Austin, "What should I call you now? Icarus or Austin?"

"Anything is fine. Trust me, I missed you a lot. Elysium is fine but wherever you are its home for me."

Triton took that chance to propose, "Will you marry me? We will mate properly after our marriage? I don't want to lose you again. One time was painful enough. Please marry me."

Austin just smiled shyly and pressed his lips to Triton's once more. "Is this enough of a confirmation for you?"

Triton nodded happily as they sat on the rock watching the sunrise.
