When I woke up I heard a steady beeping right next to my bed, and someone holding my hand. I turned my head to the right and saw a thing with a black screen and green squiggly lines. (His five year old brain doesn't know what the heart monitor is) it had a steady annoying beeping that I wish would stop. I realized it was beating to the pumping of my heart and remembered what happened yesterday. I then realized the I did not want the beeping to stop because that would mean I was dead. My breathing hitched a little and the beeping got faster. I didn't want anyone to come so I steadied my breathing and calmed down.

I looked to my left and saw Steve, asleep in his chair, and holding my hand. As soon as I realized that it was Steve I gripped it a little tighter which caused him to wake up. As soon as he saw me he smiled and gave me a hug saying sorry over and over. "It wasn't your fault." I told him truthfully. He didn't say anything but looked like he wanted to disagree.

While Steve and I were talking about silly things, making me giggle, Bruce walked in and said,"Glad to see your awake." "When do I get to get out of this bed?" I asked. "Sorry bud, but you have to stay in this bed all day." Steve said. I pouted but I didn't really mind because I was tired anyways. "If it makes you feel any better, I can get the team to hang out in here all day, so we can play board games, eat pizza, and watch movies." Steve told me. "Really?" I asked, "They would waste their whole day on me?" "If we are having fun we wouldn't be wasting it, now would we?" I shook my head, happy that I found people that actually care for me.

A few minutes later the whole team walked in holding the most pizza I've ever seen, a whole bunch of movies, and a bunch of board games. I was overcome with happiness because those were some of my favorite things to do with my mom. The first game played was 'Candy Land' and I won. They said the let me win but I didn't believe it for one second. We played all of the board games that they brought, then ate some pizza. I ate until I was full, which truthfully was only one piece. I didn't have that much of an appetite. We then watched movies and they let me pick the first one. I picked the first one that jumped out at me, I had never seen it and it was called 'Finding Nemo'.

That was the best movie in the history of all movies. I kept babbling on and on about how much I loved it until the put in another movie called the 'Little Mermaid" I have never seen that one either. When the movie was over I told them that, that was my second favorite movie, and that I loved Flounder.

I also told the that my two favorite characters in the whole world were all of them, Nemo, and Flounder.

The team said that I had to take at least an hour nap. I didn't mind because I was already tired as it is. It was 1:00 pm so I had to sleep until 2:00 pm. I fell asleep and actually had a good dream.

Dream
I had control over my body but I didn't know that because I was memorized by what I was seeing. It looked like a movie theater screen that was flashing through all of the happy moments of my life. Most of them were my mom and I, and some of them were even of my dad and I found out that he looked just like me.

At the end it went through all of my happy times with the avengers. It showed when I first met them, when we went swimming, and when we were at the park before I was stabbed.

Dream over!
I woke up and was happy because I had a good dream for once. I saw Steve holding a bag and looking happy. When I sat up I saw the whole team looking at me happily. I asked them why they were so happy but they just handed me the bag.

In side were the coolest things ever. There was plushies of all of the avengers that were looking awesome, Nemo, and flounder. I gasped happily and thanked them over and over again. "Nobody has ever haven me stuffed animals before!" I told them happily. They a looked glad that I liked them so much, but why wouldn't I, they were so cool.

I started playing with all of the avengers, making the fly, team up with Nemo and Flounder, and even sometimes brought down the imaginary bad guys. I was having so much fun when I gave they the stuffed animals of themselves and they teamed up on me, Nemo, and Flounder. They told me it was time to go to bed but I didn't want to I was wide awake now and never would have been able to even close my eyes.

They said that we could watch one more movie and went to go make popcorn so we could have a little snack. We watched 'The Lion King' I have never seen that and they told me to brace myself. I asked if Steve could come sit by me and he did. I was glad because if I would have gotten scared or sad, I had someone by my side. It turned out that I would actually need someone by my side because that was the saddest movie I've ever seen. I was crying and holding onto Steve tightly because it was so sad. He was also holding onto me as if he were protecting me. Gabe, never in a million years would have done that, so it felt nice.

Before the movie ended I fell asleep on Steve's shoulder, snuggling with my new stuffed animals. Even though it was a sad movie it ended up as one of the best days ever.
