Percy's pov
Steve had already set up a play date for me and Annabeth after school on Friday. I am super excited because Annabeth is my best friend and she is the only kid in my class that actually talks to me.

I'm currently in school and it's Friday right now. I get teased a lot in school because yesterday the teacher called on me to read but I couldn't because the letters kept swimming around a going of the pages. All of the bullies call me stupid and other really mean name but annabeth and Steve both say that it's ok and that I shouldn't worry about it. That's what annabeth says anyways, Steve always threatens to call the kids parent but I tell him that it's fine, and that I don't even care.

School is finally over and Annabeth can finally come over. She brought her stuff to school and she gets to sleep over. The bruise on my eye is still there but it is slowly fading away. My ribs are healed, but my arm is still pretty bad. Apparently the bone pierced through my skin so I'll have to have the cast for a while longer.

Steve is waiting at the door as always and I introduce him to Annabeth. "Steve this Annabeth, the girl who I've been telling you about." Steve crouched down to our level and put his hand out for Annabeth to shake. "Hello Annabeth, it's good to finally meet you. Percy talks about you a lot." Did he seriously have to say that. That's so embarrassing, people will think that I like her. I'm probably bright red right now, but Annabeth didn't seem to notice, or she just didn't care. "Nice to meet you to, sir." Annabeth said. "Let's head back to the tower and you guys can go swimming if you want." We both nodded our heads and we stepped inside the car.

When we got to the tower I showed Annabeth to the  bathroom so she could put her swimsuit on I went to my room to put my trunks and swim shirt on. We both met up in the kitchen to grab a snack, and when we were finished eating we went to the pool. I had a trash bag on my arm so that my cast wouldn't get wet and we hopped in the pool.

When we were done swimming, we ate some pizza that Steve ordered and watched some movies. When the movies were done Steve said it was time for bed. We didn't really argue because we were tired anyways. We set up our sleeping bags and got in and I fell into a blissful sleep.
