Steve's POV
Poor Percy! He's doesn't have as high of a fever but he can't get anything down without it coming back up so he's very hungry and cranky. He still has a fever but it's only at 101 degrees instead of 105 degrees which is good.

I'm currently sitting on the couch with him watching tv. His cheeks are red from the fever and he's covered up with a light blanket. We tried giving him more soup but after he ate the broth everything that was left in his stomach came up. He said that he had a really bad stomach ache so were afraid that he has appendicitis and in that case we'll have to a hospital to have it removed.

Bruce was going to give him a checkup today but we haven't told Percy yet in case he won't want to go. Bruce came in and gave me a nod which meant that it was time to bring Percy to his lab. I picked up Percy and started to follow him. "Where are we going?" Percy asked hoarsely and quietly. "To your room, don't worry." I felt bad for lying, but I know he wouldn't let me take him there. He nodded and put his head back . on my shoulder.

I think his temperature got worse because I can feel the heat from his forehead on me through my shirt.

When we got to Bruce's lab, Percy brought his head up and looked around and frowned. "This isn't my room, this is the lab." Percy said while frowning. "I'm sorry I lied to you bud, but we need to give you a checkup." When I said this he instantly started pouting and saying how he didn't want to have one and he wanted to go to sleep.

When he settled down Bruce started the checkup. The first thing he did was take Percy's temperature which went back up to 103 degrees. He then checked Percy's eyes and ears. His eyes were fine but he had an ear infection in both ears.

The next thing he had to do was check Percy's vitals which meant he had to take of his shirt. "Percy, I need you to take off your shirt." Bruce said. Percy must have been to tired to argue because he nodded and and took it off quickly. There was a few scars which made me mad at Gabe for doing this to him but overall everything looked good.

Bruce now had to do the most important part which is check if Percy had to have his appendix taken out, so we went to the infirmary and put him in a CT scan. I turns out that he did have appendicitis and it was going to blow up soon. Me and Bruce looked at each other, and I scooped up Percy so we could get the team to bring him the hospital. I told JARVIS to tell the team to meet in the kitchen.

When we got to the kitchen everyone was there and we told them the situation. Percy fell asleep in my arms and was looking uncomfortable. Probably because he had such a high fever. We scrambled into the car and rushed to the hospital. Right when we got there, some nurses took him and brought him to the room where they do surgeries (I forgot what it's called. Sorry 😐).

They told us he'd be in ther for bro ably an a half an hour to an hour. And all of us started to pace and wait for them to be done. We were all nervous and wanted it to be done already.

Time skip to after Percy's surgery.
The nurse finally came and told us we could go see Percy. She said that we were lucky that it didn't blow up and that it was very close to.

When we saw Percy he looked better. His face was slightly less red and he looked more comfortable sleeping than he did before. We all sat down and waited for him to wake up.
