Percy kept a healthy distance away from Zoe. Leo wisely did the same.
The trio were walking towards the Amphitheater whilst Zoe whistled a cheery tune. The two boys decided it was in their best interests to remain at least a meter away from each other. The snickers and occasional snort from the Soldiers walking behind them didn't ease tension.
Luke strolled at the front of their little cluster. He had bags under his eyes and he seemed ready to fall down and curl up in a ball at any time.
Calypso walked beside Leo, her eyes roamed around their surroundings taking in every detail. Her caramel-colored hair fluttered around her as the occasional night breeze blew by. Campers openly stared at her, not bothering to make their staring subtle.
Leo tried to hide her from the campers' eyes but whenever he tried to do so, she'd slap his side and tell him to stop blocking her view to which he'd reply: "Sunshine, I am the view." She'd simply roll her eyes at the antics of her boyfriend.
The noise of the campers grew louder and louder until it silenced the soft music of the night.
They arrived at the Amphitheater and were greeted by the stares and attention of campers.

The Aphrodite kids talked amidst themselves.
"Did you hear?" One of them asked.
"Yes, I have an awesome ship name for them: Caleo!" Another one gushed.
"They're so cute together~~"
"I know! And did you see the way she acts so annoyed of him but at the same time finds him cute?"
Lacy squealed into her palms. "She's so pretty! And..." She trailed off, her cheeks flushing a deep scarlet. "Leo has certainly gotten...better looking."
"Better looking? Did you see his muscles? Kyaa~<3" The Aphrodite girl practically had hearts in her eyes. "He's gotten taller too! He's so suave..."
The Aphrodite children squealed.
Lo and behold another thing to be afraid of:
The fangirls were coming.
Sorry, correction:
Leo's fangirls were coming.

"Why am I having a sense of dread?" Percy asked no one in particular.
"Must be my fangirls." Leo shrugged. "Can't help it. I'm a walking fangirl magnet."
Percy could attest to that fact especially not after...He shivered. (*)
Repress the memories. Bury the memories. Mind bleach.
Castor stopped in his tracks and held a horrified, distant look in his eyes. "Castor is a good boy...Castor doesn't like fangirls...Fangirls stay away..."

The demigods in the Amphitheater ceased chatter and focused all their attention on the Chaos' Warriors.
Luke went and stood in front of all the demigods while the rest of the soldiers stood by the entrance. It was a strategic place to stay at. It allowed them to exit and enter as much as they pleased.
"Right, so you may all be wondering--"
"LEO!" A brown blur tackled Leo down to the ground.
Luke's first thought was: Oh schist, a fangirl. His second thought was: Oh, it's just Piper. His third thought was: Oh, it's just Piper.

Piper clutched Leo very tightly. Her body shook as tears cascaded down her cheeks. Sobs and soft hiccups escaped her mouth as she tried to form a coherent sentence. Her nails were digging on Leo's back.
Leo, on the other hand, seemed quite uncomfortable. The sentence before this was a huge understatement. Not only were Piper's fingers digging into his back but rocks and sand made it highly uncomfortable for him. His head throbbed after it hit the floor when Piper tackled him. Not...to...mention..."Piper...I...can't...breathe..." Leo gasped out, his face turning a very unique shade of purple.
Piper's eyes widened as she pulled herself away and wiped her excess tears across the back of her palm. "S-Sorry." She barely choked the word out.
"I-It's fine." Leo answered back trying to regain his breathing with Calypso kneeling beside him, supporting his back.
"I-I just..." She dug the heels of her palms into her eyes to cut the next wave of tears from spilling. "Y-You're alive..."
"No, I'm Leo."
Piper wanted to glare at him but found that she couldn't not after being separated for so long..."Y-You idiot..."
"Yes, m-me idiot..." Piper found it irritating that even at such a time as this he was mocking her.
She shook her head and stared at him through puffy, red eyes. "You're really alive." She was finally able to speak without any stutters for the first time this evening.
Leo's normally mischievous smile changed. The tips of his lips took a softer edge to it. "It's good to see you too, Beauty Queen."

The campers' hearts warmed seeing the beautiful sight unfold in front of their very eyes.
It was nice to see two friends--friends who treat each others as siblings--be reunited once more. It was a touching sight truly.
Some campers' eyes widened in shock. With Leo here that meant...
The campers felt their hearts clench seeing Omega's--Luke's--grim face. It seemed that this beautiful yet already fleeting moment will have to be cut short.
...They were now Six out of Seven.

"That's enough." Luke's crisp words cut through the moment between Piper and Leo like a knife though there was a slight undertone of reluctance. "We have more pressing matters at hand."
Leo gave a nod and stood up. He brushed the dirt of his pants and lent a hand to Piper who graciously took it without the slightest hint of hesitance. She went back to her half-siblings who were unusually quiet. Even they knew that the topic they're about to delve in was serious and very important.
Luke's eyebrows scrunched up. "You all know there's a war coming and we have reason to believe that it'll take place in two weeks."
"What makes you say that?" Clarisse asked, her arms folded across her chest.
Luke glanced at Leo. "Apparently, Leo here along with Calypso went on a 'detour' on their way here. They happened to accidentally popped in the enemies' base. Luckily, they managed to escape with their lives."
"Wait," Percy held a deadpanned expression. (Not that the campers could see it though) "You're telling us that you found the enemies' base by accident during your 'detour'?"
"Yeah." Leo answered back without missing a beat.
"Well...carry on then."
"Right," Luke cleared his throat. "Later, we'll go in every cabin to discuss what you'll be doing and where you'll be located during the fight. Each and every person will be given a specific job. Don't complain just go and do you best. Am I clear?"
"Sir, yes, sir!" Leo mocked-saluted.
Luke wisely decided to ignore that. "Good, you all may proceed and eat your dinner. I'll come to the Hermes' cabin first at around 7:30 so eat as fast as you can. Dismissed."

Luke and Percy sat at the empty Amphitheater.
"It's weird..." Percy started.
Luke gave Percy a confused glance. "What is?"
"Can't the campers realize that our voices are different ot that our speech patterns differ too?"
"You're right...Our height and body structure differ too...It's glaringly obvious if you think about it..."
Percy and Luke looked into each others eyes and said in perfect synchronization. "Schist."

A/N:
I didn't really have much to do so I decided to update this.
Yeah, the campers aren't idiots. What do you think'll happen next?
I'd like to thank you for your feedback in the chapter before. Honestly, when some of you said you laughed through the whole chapter, I was quite shocked. I'm not a very funny person (You can ask my friends) but seriously, you're comments made my day.
Thanks for all the support and whatnot.
Just for your information, we're already reaching the climax of this fic and I FINALLY have a definite ending. Hahaha...I hope you enjoy it as much as I will love writing it. (Sounds kinda ominous, no?)
Anyways, if you enjoyed the interlude before I might add another one in the next few chapters.
(*)- Will be the next interlude if people are interested.
