Thalia Grace: okay...

Thalia Grace: I'm sorry Nico, I'm just a bit scared of losing you and... I'm sorry...

Nico's POV

'What am I doing?' I think to myself as I walk to the Zeus cabin. 'This isn't like you.'
It feels like this walk is taking forever, but I soon arrive, and I knock, a lump forming in my throat.
My heart almost stops beating when Thalia opens the door, and apparently hers skips a beat.
The first thing I notice are the tears slowly rolling down her perfect, beautiful face. Her eyes puffy and red from crying.
I feel an enormous sense of dread as she grabs me by the shoulders and pulls me into the cabin. And then I fall into deep ravine of guilt as she hugs me tight, never wanting to let me go.
"Nico, I-" I quickly cut her off.
"I'm sorry, Thalia..." I say with the most amount of dread and guilt audible in my voice as possible.
She lets go of me and stares worriedly into my eyes, tears threatening to form in her eyes again. "What do you mean?"
I just stand there silently, my eyes staring at the floor, not daring to look Thalia in the eyes.
She grabs my hands with a tight grip, as if to never let me go. "No. No! This can't be happening! I left the hunters to be with you! Please! Don't do this to me..."
I try to pull my hands away, but she tightens her grip, making me cringe as my hands are almost crushed by hers. I guess I deserve the pain though. After all, I just broke her heart.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry I've caused you so much pain... I'm sorry I've made your life hell... I will accept any punishment for this, that I can promise... I'm sorry, Thalia... I don't expect you to ever forgive me..." I turn my head as tears start pouring down my pale face.
Thalia lets go of one of my hands, and slaps me hard across the face. She then grabs my chin and pulls my face up lightly, and crashes her lips onto mine. My eyes fling wide in surprise, freaking out slightly. I fall slightly into the kiss, my face going more red than I thought could happen. After about a minute I pull away, not able to take it anymore.
"You've never made my life hell, and apart from today you've never hurt me! I don't want you to leave me! Please, stay with me... I don't want to lose you..." Thalia's face was a mix of red with pleasure and white with pure fear, tears streaming down her face from the pain of possibly losing the one she holds so dearly.
I grimace at those words. She's lying. Of course she's lying, no one would want to be with me. "You're lying, why would ANYONE want to be with me?! I'm disgusting!"
She just stares at me, the most hurt expression on her face. "I'm not just anyone, Nico. I'm the one who quit something that I held most dear to me so that I could be with you. I basically left my family for you! I'm Thalia Grace, the one who loved you, and still does, against all odds." Looking away for a moment, her hand slips back into mine, the grip in her other hand softening so it feels like I'm holding the hands of an angel. Then her gaze returned to me, staring into my eyes with a resolve I could never muster. "Don't leave me... Please, don't leave..."
I have to muster all the courage I have left to say a few painful words. I'm practically broken right now. "I'm sorry, Thalia. Right now I just need a while away from you. I can't be with you right now, not like this... I need a while away from camp, too... I can't be around here. Can you wait for me?"
She lets go of my hands and slips her arms through mine, wrapping her arms around my back and bringing me closer to her. "I will wait as long as it takes." She looks up at me with a much more cheerful look, though there are still a few tears rolling down her face.
I grab Thalia's arms softly and make her let go of me. I slowly back away to the door, then turn around and open it. I start to leave, but stop just shy of the last inch of the cabin, and utter a few last words before I Leave camp for a month or two.

"Goodbye... I will always love you..."

go ahead and kill me... I deserve it... I still ship Thalico but... yeah... don't worry though, I have a character that can take Nico's place in Thalia's heart... but you can kill me if you want...

anyway, comment character as it says at the start of this chapter and don't hate me... even if I hate myself... I'll have a whole new perspective on the relationship between Thalia and my newest character...
