Chapter 5: Healing
Clint's POV
It wasn't hard helping Percy down toward the pool and everyone watched as he went toward the shallow end.
He handed me the crutches as he took slow and steady steps into the water.
"What's he doing?" Tony whispered to Steve which I overheard.
"He's going to heal his foot." I said to them letting them know that I heard them.
"He can heal?" Bruce asked remembering what Percy was saying about Greek Mythology a few minutes ago on the roof.
"He's the son of a water god." Natasha said going to let Percy say who his father was instead of telling them herself.
"Which god?" Tony asked trying to dig into Percy and his past.
"One that is overpowered and said demigod can hear everything your saying." Percy said back to them as he rested on the seats leading from water to land letting the water sooth his foot and heal it.
Carefully Percy reached toward the wrapped boot and slowly got it off and allowed the water to fully heal his foot.
"You okay?" I asked walking toward him careful to not spill on the water around the pool.
"Yeah." Percy said and looked toward my arm, "Can I see your arm?" he asked
Nodding I crouched down toward the water and allowed Percy to manipulate the water around my arm to heal it.
Once Percy seemed satisfied and pulled the water away I carefully took off the sling and Natasha helped me take off the cast that was around my arm and I slowly flexed and made sure my arm was okay and not damaged.
Satisfied I smiled at Percy who was slowly getting off the steps testing his now fixed leg before coming ashore completely dry as if he wasn't in the pool few seconds ago.
"Anyone want hamburgers?" Percy asked out of the blue and like a child asked a question my hand flew into the air.
Percy laughed at the startled looks from the Avengers before they also slowly answer and Percy just smiled, hit me on the back and made his way toward the elevator where Jarvis was going to take him to the kitchen.
Everyone was digesting what they saw and Steve slowly said, "Did he just walk out of the pool completely dry?"
Bruce looked like he was contemplating as he said thoughtfully, "You did say he was a child of some sort of sea god. I wonder-" he trailed off as Jarvis took the moment to talk, "Mr. Jackson has announced that the food will be done shortly and requests you start making your way toward the kitchen."
"Thanks J." Tony said also seeming to be contemplating what he just saw and didn't seem to actually hear what Jarvis said.
"Tell Percy we will be there shortly." Clint said to the air as he lead the group out of the pool room and toward the kitchen for some of Percy's fine hamburgers.
