Chapter 12... Who The Hell Are You?!
Fang's P.O.V
I peered onto the horizon looking for any sign for Alex. We lost her yesterday. We still don't know what happened. Where did that lightning bolt even come from? There were light, white clouds not dark, heavy clouds.
"Fang."I turned around and saw Max. "We have been searching for what seems like years. We can't stay here for much longer. The School will find us."
"I know but Angel is really set on finding this girl."
"Yea I'm gonna tell her now. We're heading out soon, so be ready." I nodded, just before she walks off looking for Angel.
Then I was left in silence. But about five minutes later I heard Angel.
"But she is alive I know it!" Angel tried to reason.
"Angel you don't know if she is. We have been looking for two days. She never would have survived, she got struck by lightning! And she decided to plunge into the ocean. She wouldn't have survived." Max yelled.
Angel ran over to me. "Fang please tell her to keep looking."
I crouched down, and looked at Max. "I'm sorry Angel, but for once Max is right."
"For once?" Max asked. I flipped her off and turned back to Angel.
"Angel I'm sorry but if she were alive she would be here right now not at the bottom of the ocean." I told Angel.
She looked at me with tear filled eyes. "Please a few more hours?" God dammit she's giving me those damn puppy eyes, she knows it's my only weakness.
I looked over to Max and saw her frantically shaking her head. "Fine." I finally said.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see Max looking at me with a look of disbelief.
"What? No one can escape the eyes." Max nodded in confirmation.
"Well where should we look?" Max asked Angel.
"I don't know why but I'm feeling a sort of pull, that's saying to go to Long Island."
"The School?"
"No it's not like a evil, sad, or cruel pull. It's more like a good, happy, wonderful pull. And it as if I can sense Alex is there."
"Maybe we should have a look there." I swiveled my head to Max she never agreed that easily, not without a good reason to.

"Well, we're here." I announced, as myself and The Flock descended into a small clearing in the huge maze like forest of Long Island.
"This way." Angel said walking forward not waiting for us to follow. But since we didn't want Angel to be surprise attacked again we followed.
We trekked deep into the the forest not hearing or seeing anyone.
"Are you sure she is here, Angel?" Gazzy asked.
"I'm sure." Angel confirmed.
"Owww!" Iggy yelled. We all swiveled out heads to Iggy.
"You could of warned me I would crash into a tree." He complained. I snickered, and the kids cracked up laughing.
"Hey!" He cried out when an acorn flew down from the tree and straight into his head.
"Oi! Leaf my tree alone!" Came a female voice from the tree that Iggy had crashed into. Max looked over at me in confusion.
Suddenly, the girl dropped down from the branches, landing skillfully on her feet. She straightened up and then smiled at us. She was about 6'1 1/2" tall, had dark brown, almost black hair, and one green eye and one grey eye. Strange. I'd never seen anyone with odd colored eyes before. Well, that I could remember, anyway.
"Well then," She started, "what's going on here?"
Max and I exchanged glances, then stepped protectively in front of the flock.
"Who the hell are you?" I asked her, scowling.
She grinned. "The name's Kastaborus. Ace Kastaborus."
"That's a strange name." Gazzy said, peering out from behind us.
"Well, I'm a strange person."
Then Angel stepped out in front of us and said, "Why don't you come with us? We're trying to find our friend Alex."
Ace bent down to become face to face with Angel, which caused me to want to interject, but Max held an arm out to stop me.
Ace spoke in a softer voice to Angel. "What does this Alex look like?"
Angel thought for a minute. "Well.. She's about 6'3" with hair like yours, and a beachy sort of tan."
Ace's eyes widened and she straightened. "I know where she is."
I swear we all leapt ten feet into the air in surprise.
Max nearly choked. "You're serious."
Ace raised an eyebrow. "You think I would lie to you? She is literally causing chaos at Camp Half Blood. Hence the reason I was in that tree."
"Camp... Half Blood?" I asked, completely confused.
She smiled sheepishly. "It's better if you see for yourselves. You see, when the Gods of Olympus have a child with a mortal, they create demigods. Half God, half human. See, I'm the daughter of Hermes."
"Erm.. Okay..?" I said, not really believing her.
Angel stomped her foot. "Come on! Let's go!"
Ace smiled down at her. "Okie dokie, sweetie."

Ace's P.O.V
When we arrived at the gate of Camp Half Blood, I couldn't contain a grin when I caught sight of the others gaping at it. I had learnt their names on the way here. Max was the oldest, followed by Fang, then Iggy; the one I threw an acorn at, then Nudge, Gazzy, and the youngest, Angel.
Oh, and I also learnt that they had wings.
Fang stood close beside me, almost too close, staring inside. "You were telling the truth." He whispered into my ear.
