Percy POV

I sat on my bed at Camp Half-Blood. I sobbed. My beautiful Annabeth was gone... Burying my head in my arms, my tears turned into sobs, and I hated myself for it. I felt a presence in the room so I looked up, not caring for my appearance. I saw the Titan Iris.

"Perseus Jackson, the gods require your attendance it the throne room, I'm sorry child. You shouldn't have to go through this. You've already been through so much." I nodded and let her take me to the throne room.

We appeared in the throne room and she left me. I walked down the center of the room stopping that my father, Uncle Zeus and Uncle Hades' thrones. I greeted them and asked,

"Why have you summoned me?" My dad sighed.

"Percy do you want to talk about it?" At my frown, he went on.

"Annabeth wouldn't want you to do this to yourself." I flinched at her name and my unstable resolve crumbled. I let out a choked sob.

"I-I-I... Can't... Do this... Anymore."

My father rushed to my side as I fell to my knees and sobbed in front of the whole council. He hugged me tightly as I sobbed in his arms. Slowly, I stopped crying. When it came to a full stop, Zeus spoke.

"Perseus, you need help. And there are some things we wish to offer you. Lady Hecate would also like to propose something to you." I nodded, not fully comprehending. He went on.

"Because of your bravery we would like to offer you three wishes. Know that you may not wish to bring someone back from the dead, love or godhood." When he said the part about the dead, my hopes crashed down. I sighed.

"I would like for there to be a portal to connect the two camps. I would also like to save my other two wishes for a later time, when I need it." The council of gods nodded.

Hades piped up, "Percy, if you want, I can give you a few minutes with Annabeth and you will be able to talk to her. Also, because of all that you have sacrificed for us, for me, I am telling you and promising you that you can pop into my palace anytime, ask to speak to Annabeth, and I will let you. No matter when it may be." I was almost bouncing at what Hades had said. I rushed up to him and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you!! Can we go now?" I said to him almost childishly.

Zeus interrupted, "After one last thing..."
